I can't even explain how high energy and engaging the staff was. Wowza! The Captain even jumped into one of the pics with our group! He was a dancing machine and had the cutest names for some of the dolphins like Finn-daya (omg that euphoria finale!!!) and Finn Diesel. I believe the Captain's name was Daniel and he was just amazing!!! This was one of the only charters we could find that allowed us bringing a cooler full of drinks on which was also a huge plus for our group. Everything was so well organized from start to finish, we were so happy with everything and saw SO many dolphins on our evening cruise. Absolutely so highly recommended for singles, couples, groups and everyone when in Destin!!!! I tipped the guys $20 after as every individual did! They worked it.

Since we've rented boats here before, we appreciated that the safety briefing was shortened and focused on the essentials rather than making us sit through the entire presentation again. That said, it would have been helpful to clearly remind returning customers about the exact navigation boundaries and where boating is not permitted. Our 25ft pontoon boat was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for a relaxing day around Destin Harbor and Crab Island. However, part of the bimini top was torn and flapped loudly in the wind throughout the day. The Bluetooth radio also didn't work. We've experienced that on previous rentals as well, so perhaps it is intentionally disabled, but if that's the case it would be good to communicate that upfront. The biggest disappointment was the pricing transparency. The advertised rental price looks attractive, but then a 4% "Village Fee" and an additional 2.5% "Operational Cost Fee" are added before sales tax. An operational cost fee feels particularly difficult to justify, as operational costs should already be included in the advertised price. By the time all fees and taxes are added, a rental advertised at $345 ends up costing about $427. That leaves customers feeling misled and takes away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, we had a great day on the water and the staff was professional and pleasant. Improving the condition of some equipment and being more transparent about the true rental cost would make the experience even better.

Lastly, David and Tristan somehow summoned the dolphins and we ended the parasailing trip with an additional tour around a pod of dolphins with a baby dolphin. People walked by with all their catches and everything. We each paid the $2 to walk anyway, and the entire pier is lined with people fishing! We did go during Memorial Day weekend, so I understand this is a busier time, but wow. It made for a smelly walk. Only the area near the shore had space for taking photos, so we were off the pier in like 10 minutes. Going for the sunset seemed great until actually being there, but we did learn from the signs on the pier that they would have a firework show, which we came back for. The firework show was about 5-ish minutes long, but it was great! They go all out at the end, so there's a lot of fireworks going off.

I highly recommend taking a walk. The salty air is super refreshing, and the wind makes it a very pleasant experience. Also, the scenic views are amazing. I have been to the pier several times, and I really enjoyed seeing the different wild life. I have seen jellyfish, herons and even sea turtles. I have never fished there, but I have seen people catch fish. I also have heard the best seasons to catch fish are spring and summer.

He made sure I knew the cancellation policy on weather conditions and I have to say, they are FAR more generous than any other company I've dealt with. He wasn't afraid to zig zag through the crowd to get us right in the middle of all the fun, which is exactly where we wanted to be. He provided a big floating mat, a beer pong game that was a huge hit with our group, a big Bluetooth speaker, as well as his photo services. He had no problems taking pics of our group for us while we had our fun. He got in the water and played football with the husbands and retrieved drinks and Jell-O shots for the ladies. We could not have asked for anything more! He will be our go-to from now on, no doubt about it!
