My husband and I just started coming to this coffee shop. Amber is a gem! She is so upbeat and positive in the mornings. On our second morning stopping here Amber already remembered what we drank. Pretty incredible. By the third time in we are on a first name basis. Not only is her personality great but she makes the drinks perfectly too and quickly. There hasn't been one time I have had a coffee from this drive thru that it didn't have to be adjusted, or have syrup added to it. Today I ordered a decaf mocha with only one shot of coffee. The flavor of my drink had overwhelmingly bad tasting coffee, even with only 1 shot of decaf. And it had no flavor of mocha, chocolate syrup. It doesn't matter how friendly the baristas are if my drink tastes bad and has to be adjusted. For $4.50 + $1 tip, I don't want a drink that tastes like bad iced coffee with no flavor, or sweetness. I have been coming to Legal Addiction for years. I used to adore them until recently. Now they are sending paper straws via delivery. These straws literally melt inside the drink before you can even finish it. It leaves an awful taste. They never get the order 100% correct, but I know that is sometimes what happens. But the use of these straws is just too much. It's the icing on cake of mediocre service, drinks and food. read more

I call my order in on my way to work...waiting for me when I arrive. I am in...I am out. They are so fast, I have called in a minute away and still had my drink waiting for me...but I wouldn't be presumptuous about that lol. I purchase a re-loadable card and get a few perks for buying ten drinks in advance....ask what specials might be going on. My drink is a sugar-free fat-free iced mocha with whip. That means the chocolate syrup is sugarfree, the flavored syrup is sugarfree and the whip is sugarfree. The milk is non fat ...I mean...is there even ANY calories in this at all??? I hate the busy coffee shops where a 16 year old takes your order while giggling and flirting with coworkers or customers- so I tend to avoid coffee shops and go toward Starbucks which isn't necessarily great but you get coffee and get out! This place was a really nice change, the girls are nice every time but never annoying, they make a great coffee ask about your day and let you get on your way! I had a coconut milk mocha which was really delicious and got a hot cup of water for my brother in law who was sick ($.25). Worst coffee! It was our first and last time trying this place. Stopped in this morning we ordered an iced mocha and a raspberry Redbull. The mocha,well the espresso shot was bitter meaning she waited too long to pull the shot. The Redbull had so much flavoring in it I couldn't taste anything but syrup. Updated review: This little coffee shop has always made killer coffee drinks living up to their name "legal addiction". I use to get one every morning, I was so hooked. Then they got new owners and the service and coffee is still great but SO SLOW! I use to drive in and be back on the road within 5 minutes or so. Much faster than most other places. Over the last few months it's been a headache to get my additively good coffee, waiting in line for up to 25 minutes. I've been in line and seen people pull away because it's taking too long. For that I knocked off two stars from my previous rating. What good is fabulous service and great coffee if I never have time to wait for it anymore. I'm down to once a week, or I'll chance driving by but if there's already two or more cars... I keep driving! To sum up, I still REALLY recommend their coffee(Best in Portland!) but be sure you have time to wait and plenty of gas for idling before driving in. read more

TERRIBLE. im not a coffee drinker but i do pick up coffee for my employees and this is the stand i usally go to but will be the last time. I ordered a raspberry white chocolate mocha and when i gave it to my guy he said it tasted like a raspberry milk shake. THEY FORGOT TO PUT COFFEE IN IT. when i called the stand i supposedly talked to the owner that told me she would put my name on the board for a free one. I thought ok cool thats alright. So the next week i stop bye for my free one told the girl the story she said ok made my coffee was giving it to me then she says $5.50 very rudely. I said you must of not listened to me them i tell her the story again. She says let me look and then helps another customer and didnt even look for my name then comes back and says i cant find your name $5.50 please in a sort of vally girl way lol i ask her to write my name and number i would like to talk to the owner. Looked like she just threw the paper away so i called and left my name and number for the owner to call me. This was Thursday. I was expecting and call Monday but nothing. I called Tuesday nothing then the owner happens to anwser Thursday. I tell her the story she says shes never heard of me or the no coffee thing and no notes to call me refuses to issue me a free coffee says im trying to scam her and drops the f bomb on me and hangs up. I tried calling back with no anwser. Im pretty sure it costs less than a $1 to make a cup of coffee and if they are willng to lose customers over a $1 good luck in this business world. I will never go there again and would tell other potential customers to BEWARE THIS IS NOT A LEGIT BUSINESS AND THE OWNER WILL NOT BACK HER PRODUCTS.
