I saw this place while I was out and decided to give it a try. There were four cars ahead of me and it took a very long time for them to move through the line. I would have very much liked to have been able to look at the menu, but one of the employees came out to ask for my order before there was space enough for me to pull forward to see it. Okay, no problem, just got an iced mocha. She asked me if I wanted whipped cream on my drink, to which I gave an enthusiastic yes, and a few minutes later I was handed a mocha with no whipped cream. I have found a new go to coffee shop that is near to me! Service was fast for only having one person in the booth, she was very friendly and patient with me taking a minute to look over the menu since it was my first time there. Ordered a blended white river mocha and orange creamsicle smoothie. Both were so yummy!! I love that they have some caffeine free options for those who don't like coffee or energy drinks. Living in Gresham, this is our go-to spot for coffee. There are 2 locations, one on Halsey and one on Burnside. This is really a popular place for drive-through coffee. Big thanks to the baristas for remembering our drinks almost every time! That's why we've been coming here for about 7 years. It's really hard to find drive-through coffee that has the powdered form sugar free mocha for my latte. The flavor is a winner! We can always count on a cheerful smile and they never seem to be stressed even if there are a few cars in line. They've got plenty of pastries in the window. (I wish I could try all of them.) Milton's is my new favorite coffee place!!! There not stingy with the caramel or the whip cream . I used to love Black rock but they barely give carmel and just a little whip cream and it's pathetic!! And that's even after asking for double Carmel!! They won't give it at Black Rock!! I actually asked my husband if we could go to Milton's in Fairview in stead of Black rock. And he said "sure! I actually like Milton's over Black rock. I only go to Black rock for you". Last Wednesday we showed up at the Fairview location at 4:59am and we waited 7 mins and we couldn't wait anymore so we went to the burnside Gresham location and I got an Italian soda. I guess it was the owner working. she gave half the flavor syrup that other coffee places give so that was disappointing and I won't be getting Italian sodas from Milton's coffee anymore. But there great on coffee flavors and they have decaf coffee, and sugar free syrups for diabetic clients Or for clients who can't have regular sugar. And my husband loves the orange creamscicle milkshake. I'm still giving a 5 star even though they only give 1/2 syrup on Italian soda because they have so many other good things. Tried out this coffee shop for my Sunday morning pick me up. I got an infused red bull and my brother got an iced latte. They told me they had over 60 syrups to choose from for the red bull so this is the definitely the place to go for whatever flavor you're looking for! Personally too many choices for someone like me who can't make up their mind ‍so I asked them to surprise me and it was delicious. I am a person that ALWAYS tips, but this time, no way! Then the barista tried to small talk me...he'll no! Hurry the hell up! This person should not be serving ! This was enraging because I was short on time and was STUCK in the line and couldn't go anywhere. The barista was clueless that 3 cars behind me ( that were able to back up) LEFT! Love this place, one of the girls owns it, named after her cat. Right next to home, coffee is some of the best around, service is good and friendly, but can read the difference between "I need coffee now and hate all forms of life until after that" and "this is my second coffee of the day, it's 11:30, nobody is behind me in line, let's talk about life and be friends". Great coffee, good prices, usually good service. I accidentally left my company credit card and the barista at the small coffee stand told me " We can't find the card where the manager said they left it, it may have been thrown away. You should just cancel it and get a new card". I wasn't aware businesses throw away credit cards within 24 hours of them being left behind and I've been unsuccessful reaching any management outside of a short exchange over text. First time stopping into this little gem and I whooped for joy when I realized today is 2$ Tuesday! My lucky day! The espresso is good- I'm leery of trying new coffee places because sometimes you get that light berry-citrus flavor instead of a deeper yummy chocolatey-caramelly- roasted flavor. Was out in Uncanny Valley Estates, er, Fairview bribing a friend helping me unpack, nest, and survive a run to the Fairview Target recently. I saw Milton's. Hey, why not hit a new coffee place? Oh, look, Stumptown. Dude wants some pumpkin monstrosity, I just want my soy mocha. Cool. Service was friendly and cheerful but not in that fake or overcaffeinated way, more like "hey we love the people who shovel us money!" way. Double cool. I was not expecting perfectly pulled shots from a roadside stand. Yes, the Bros of Dutchness usually nail it, but their coffee, it is not Stumptown. I'm sure there's better coffee than Stumptown, but LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU So. Two perfect drinks? Check. Responsible pricing for quality product? Check.
