Around 9:30 AM, they called to say they had arrived early. She told them she would be home by 10:00 and specifically asked them not to block the driveway because she needed access to the garage. When she arrived at 10:00, the two technicians had already entered our private property and started working before anyone was home. One had a ladder blocking the garage. Both men were wearing earpieces, making it difficult to get their attention. After several attempts, my wife lightly tapped the ladder so the technician would hear her and asked him to move it. Instead of a professional response, he said, "Yeah, I got nothin' better to do." When she told him that he was on private property and that speaking to a customer that way was inappropriate, he replied, "You f...n' tapped my ladder." The other technician then said, "Let's leave," and my wife agreed. They left after only partially cleaning one upstairs window, leaving it streaked and looking worse than before. Since then, we've received repeated phone calls, and someone from the company came to our home pounding on our front door. We never signed a contract, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend Crystal Clear Cleaning. We encourage others to use caution before hiring this company.

The day of the cleaning I was still asleep at 8a when owner, Chris arrived instead of around 10a as was schedule. Aggressive, bitter and griping for the inconvenience of the hour drive (great way to wake up!), CHRIS MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN HOME! Months later Chris called to collect on an invoice we were late to pay sent via email. I provided payment over the phone. HE THEN THREATENED TO ADD A $100 TIP since he "had to" drive an hour to clean up a shotty job by HIS employees! When I questioned him and called him out on being professional Chris got more agitated to which point I hung up. He called back several times, left a message saying "You misunderstood me. It was just a joke, I was kidding you!" Don't you hate that stuff?! I sure do! He attempted to connect through a different number minutes later. I BLOCKED all the numbers. It does not get better than this. We used B&R for gutters on two homes here in Bend. We've been in this one for going on ten years and last winter we had our first small gutter problem. Stuff happens. The "oops" had nothing to do with B&R, rather an awkward roof tie in design from the house designer. When we called with our little SOS, no emergency we said but needing work, owner Richard was out the next day to assess the work needing to be done. A day after that, three very nice guys showed up to do the work. Although there was front porch "stuff" in the way for them and landscaping in the mix they were so careful with both that you'd never know, except for the fixed gutter, they'd ever been there. If you've worked with other gutter companies that mangle landscaping as they do their work, you'll know how extraordinary a thing it is to have folks be as careful are the B&R crew.
