We were then supposed to reuse rock we already had, that was less than a year old. Instead of anyone ling the rock and putting it on a tarp, they used a bobcat and ruined all the rock because they were covered in mud (white rocks.) Mike got into a cussing match with my husband and then told us we had to come put an extra $1000 because his team destroyed our yard, and we now needed it fixed. He even told my husband that he wished he never worked with us and couldn't wait to be done. The yard was left uneven, caps were not sealed, the staircase was sideways and uneven and worst of all, anytime it rains, mud and rock shoot all over the patio and stairs. The worst experience we have ever had and I would never recommend them to anyone!!!!!

Ryan and his team at Georgian Landscape Design worked with us every step of the way to design the space so it matched our existing stone patio area and met the HOA's [relatively strict] guidelines. They built retention walls, stone staircases, installed lighting, replaced an aging fence, and planted several new arborvitaes. Everyone that has seen the new side yard have been thoroughly impressed with the aesthetics and quality craftsmanship, but the biggest compliments come from our furry family members. The dam's spillway had to be replaced and the entire driveway was destroyed through the process. Not only did they do an exceptional job setting the grade, they dug out a section and re-packed to ensure proper compaction. Fun people to know. Our project was a big one -- installing a large granite patio and retaining wall and drainage/grading in the back yard. The quality of workmanship on the patio was amazing, but the rest of it lacked much to be desired. The "crew" consisted of a couple of guys that looked fresh from the parking lot of Home Depot. One was much more interested in smoking cigarettes and drinking Red Bull, than he was about working in the yard. In all fairness, I'd probably prefer drinking Red Bull to working in the yard, but that's why I hired someone else to do it. But, I digress.... Anyway, even given that the work was definitely not up to par, I still paid them (because the main part, the patio was really nice). We mutually agreed that our bill would be $250 off because of two items that weren't completed. Today, about 30 days after they completed work, one of the sub-contractors (not the Red Bull addict) showed up on my front porch saying he hadn't been paid and was filing a mechanic's lien. Sigh... Two takeaway points: ALWAYS get lien waivers for anyone that steps on your property to do work. And, NEVER use Environmental Landscape (not to be confused with Environmental Landscape Management in Doraville, who, according to the reviews I've seen, might have been a better choice!)

Kevin and his guys came to the rescue and were great. He had a lot of creative ideas that were in our price range. Not only was the price right, but the work was killer.
