I had just moved to Atlanta and into a new house so we had a few yard things that need to get done…read moreincluding the trimming of trees and the building of a tiered raised garden. Given my type A personality, I also wanted it done well and as expeditious as possible. Through Yelp we found Jose and his company JJ's Landscape and Tree Service to give us a hand. It can be hard to find someone who you can rely upon and take their work seriously. Will they do a quality job? Will they care about what the customer thinks of their work? All these things were running through my head as I looked for a new person to help us landscape. So I called Jose and told him what I needed to do... tree work, build a raised garden, clean the yard of debris (that the seller left all over our yard) etc. No problem. Thinking that we would have to book 2-3 weeks in advance, I was caught of guard when Jose said, "You want this done tomorrow?" Sure enough, they came in the next day and took care of one job at a time. They helped me put in a beautiful tiered raised garden and then put in dirt into each tier. They then helped me prune back the tree limbs that were hovering over the house. As with any job like this, there is the possibility of limbs falling on things that were unintentional and they took care of these issues responsibly. They came back when they said they would and took care of everything. I will continue to use this company to take care of the grass since now my yard work is mostly complete. Jose has an awesome team of people working for him, they have great work ethic, and they truly care about their products and the people they work for. I will say that they are on the more expensive side, but remember that you are paying for quality work that is going to get done quickly. They are always on time and prompt and respectful of neighbors. They prefer check but will take credit cards as well (for a percent of the total cost). Next time you have a job you need them to complete, you cannot fail with this company!

We wanted a usable yard for our toddler to play in without sinking into a sink hole! Our yard did a 180 with Bailey. They also built a stone patio, which is gorgeous!! We received 4 different proposals for drainage issues, moving some landscaping blocks, grading, and 5 pallets of sod from local well-respected companies and while Bailey was not the least nor the most expensive, we felt the difference maker was our main contact, Dan. Dan has a lot of experience and was a straight shooter when discussing the project. His communications were exactly what I expected and we had no surprises. Once we signed the contract, our project was moved up a few weeks which was awesome. All the onsite workers were awesome, hardworking, and professional. Taylor our lead was always available for questions when we had them and even made a few adjustments when we asked and they were done without one bit of pushback from the team. We had to have the stump ground due to being more exposed than expected once the work started and they coordinated with a company that did it at a very reasonable rate and time that did not disrupt the workflow of the overall project. These guys did a great job at a fair price and I would highly recommend Bailey Construction & Landscaping LLC for any project big or small.

OK, enough of the flowery stuff. There are four members in the crew, and each is skilled in a particular aspect of the field of cutting down trees. I've seen a lot of tree crews, and these guys are top notch. They showed up on time, I had to get the utility company to do a power drop, and then the members swiftly got to work, dropping the trees that could be a problem for my power line first. By noon, those trees were gone, and I called up the power company to say they could reconnect the power, which they did at about 1 PM. (Hidden praise for Walton EMC buried in here. Based on past experience, I wouldn't begin to expect the same level of service from the power company that has the word 'Georgia' in their name. YMMV.) I was so pleased I paid them a bit extra and gave the crew some of my stash of hash. No, that's not quite right. Fudge. Yes, that's it! Fudge, that I had purchased the day before in St. Augustine. I had a total of four trees taken down and absolutely everything was to my satisfaction, a thing that is quite rare these days. There are 3 pictures attached below. I have more, but posting them online might give the government hints as to where I am, and that's just not on. It might involve the hash, mentioned before. :) Cheers, to one and all Satisfied Customer.

So I asked Todd for a layout of our smallish backyard. He did a superb job listening to what we wanted to use the space for then rendering a fairly detailed layout. Several challenges (hidden by the earth and previous site construction) emerged but Todd and his crews adapted extremely well, and we ended up with a really attractive and functional outdoor space. Not the cheapest but in my experience one of the most diligent, honest and capable contractors I've had the pleasure working with. We've also agreed to take on their maintenance and care services, too.

Y'all... yawl! My back yard, has been in such disarray. When I tell you that it was a disaster, I…read moremean it with a genuine heart. We had gotten so far behind in managing the, and the storms made it worse. There were branches, leaves, cut up trees, brush, Ivy, and even satan himself was there. I first contacted the person who use to do the back yard, but he had started doing a different business. So, I got on Yelp, searched, and Yelp did its thing! I got many estimates from different contractors. I decided to go with this company, because this is where my spirit led me. Mr. Alex, came out and did an estimate. All I can say, is that for what needed to be done, and what Alex charged, was not worth it. This man, and his company, deserves a million dollars, for the peace he brought me. We were unable to start on time, because of these pesky storms. Like, why did it have to rain, when the number 1 contractor, was coming to make our yard, look like a ray of light, filled with sunshine and daffodils? Whyyyy? When the rain stopped, Alex was true to his word. He arrived on time, was respectful, had great communication, and was/is a hard worker. He is trustworthy, and honest. Alex and his crew worked through the heat, all day.....until a storm, yup another rain storm, rained them out. Alex and his crew came back, within two days, to finish the rest. Let me tell you what this company did for my family and I. He removed a big pile of disaster. The pike had trees, leaves, and wood. He removed vines from our trees, he removed Ivy, a big doggone swing set, a bunch of shrubbery, and removed little trees. Y'all, he hauled it away too. Thank ya Jesus!!! But, but, that's not all..... he made it to where we can open our gate in the back yard. Dirt was preventing it from opening. Don't yall know that thats not it? In the midst, of cleaning the abyss, yes my yard WAS the abyss, Alex killed 4 poisonous snakes. 4 poisonous snakes, that could have sent any one of us to to the hospital. This company, made everything so easy. It eased my mind, and didn't break my bank account, that had been dry and drought like. Many wanted to charge so much, that we would have had to wait and save up, thus slipping the back yard further into the darkness. We thank you AT Landscaping. We will see you soon, for the fence, and hopefully many many more projects. Book and hire. This company is worth every penny and much more.

It took 3wks to get the estimate for the front yard. By that time the back had even more bare muddy patches. I have reached out numerous times via phone, text, and social media and have been completely ghosted by Julian.
