They all seem to add a bit of class. For my first drink, I'm am having a Cosmopolitan. A Cosmopolitan (or Cosmo) is a popular pink cocktail made with vodka, triple sec (or Cointreau), cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice, typically shaken and served in a martini glass. It's known for its tart, fruity, and slightly sweet flavor profile, often garnished with an orange twist. While served in a martini glass, it's not a true martini as it lacks vermouth. The drink has nice presentation, chilled, garnished and well-balanced. For my first food item, I'm having a Chef's Salad. A chef salad is a hearty American main-course salad with a base of lettuce topped with various ingredients like hard-boiled eggs, one or more meats (such as ham, turkey, or chicken), cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers, often with croutons and a vinaigrette or ranch dressing. I am having vinaigrette for my dressing. Oh yeah! Nice restating! This is good! I see romaine lettuce, olives, eggs, turkey, ham, canned green and red peppers, pepperoni, cheese, picked onions, cucumbers, etc. It's a big portion size for $7! For my next food item, I'm having the (1/2 lb) Mussels. Mussels are a popular, sustainable, and nutritious seafood known for their briny flavor, often served steamed in broth with wine, garlic, and herbs, and paired with crusty bread. They are filter feeders, rich in protein, omega-3s, and vitamin B12, and are farmed responsibly, making them an environmentally friendly choice that improves water quality. These are good you. They are hot. I like the grilled, buttered bread. Make sure to squeeze the lemon on top. This is the "red" inversion (white is an option). These are good! I love this broth! For my next food item, I'm having the Bogner's Chili Cheese Dog. Bogner Quality Meats in Manchester, CT, offers a selection of premium, house-made hot dogs and franks, featuring all-beef skinless, natural casing, and kielbasa dogs. Known for high-quality meats since 1942, they also offer bulk 5 lb packages, perfect for grilling, along with a full service butcher counter. I only get to eat this kind twice a year! This is all beef and locally made. What's better than this?! This is great!!! Love that pickle and those thick kettle chips! For my second drink, I'm having a margarita. A Margarita is a classic cocktail made with tequila, orange liqueur (like Cointreau or triple sec), and lime juice, often served in a salt-rimmed glass with a lime wedge garnish. It can be served shaken and "on the rocks" (with ice), blended with ice, or straight up, and variations include different tequilas (like reposado) or sweeteners like agave syrup. No margarita glass or sake/sugar rim but it is nicely garnished and tastes good. The floating orange is odd. Still, it's quite good! For my next food item, I'm having the Geno's Meatballs. Gino D'Acampo's traditional meatball recipe features a mix of minced pork and beef, soaked bread, egg, pecorino cheese, and parsley, typically simmered in a simple tomato sauce. For best results, brown the meatballs in olive oil, then simmer slowly for at least 30 minutes to two hours for a rich flavor. I like the cheese strips on top. Lots of sauce! These taste great! For my last drink, I'm having a Vodka Mule. A Moscow Mule is a refreshing, vodka-based cocktail made with lime juice and spicy ginger beer, traditionally served in a copper mug which keeps it extra cold. To make one, combine vodka, fresh lime juice, and ice in a mug, then top with chilled ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge or wheel. It's a simple, no-shaker-needed drink that's popular for its balance of spicy, sweet, and tart flavors. I like the copper mug! It's chilled, nicely garnished and well balanced. For my last item, I've been dying to try the Special- a bork of Legume Soup. Lentil soup is a hearty, nutritious soup made with lentils as the main ingredient, often featuring a base of sautéed onions, carrots, and garlic, simmered in broth with spices like cumin and turmeric, and finished with fresh herbs and lemon juice. It's a staple in many cultures, known for being filling, economical, and rich in protein and fiber, with variations using different lentils (red, green, brown) and additions like kale, potatoes, or pasta. I like the cute, little crock pot. These are good crackers. It's nice and hot. It came out fast too! For my last item, I'm having the Southwest Chicken Eggrolls. I've never tired these here!Southwest egg rolls are crispy, deep-fried appetizers typically filled with shredded chicken, black beans, corn, red bell peppers, spinach, and Monterey Jack cheese. Let's see what comes out! There are fantastic! They're hot and delicious! What a great meal here!

It's known for its unique atmosphere, popular dishes, and is a good spot for groups, with happy hour specials available. The pub operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is a popular new addition to the local scene.  For my first drink, I'm having the Bramble on Rose. This is made with Bombay Gin, fresh lemon, rise water and blackberry syrup. It's their take on a 1980's classic crested in SoHo London. For info on its history, go to: https://www.diffordsguide.com/encyclopedia/1655/cocktails/bramble-cocktail-its-inception-told-by-its-creator. It's served in a 16oz glass so it gets a bit diluted. Still, I like the taste. I am starting with their Soup of the Day which is the cream of chicken/mushroom. This is hot and delicious! That's a big spoon. I'm also having a side Caesar Salad (light on the croutons). This is just right! It tastes great! For my entree, I'm having the Mandu's Masala made with sautéed chicken, tomato, mild or spicy (spicy, as hot as possible) curry sauce in a yogurt cream sauce served with Basmati rice and grilled naan bread. This is considers the UL's national dish! This is nice and spicy! That's a lot of food! I loved the cute, little pieces of naan. The sauce is thick! I love it! For my next drink, I'm having the House Cup. This is a traditional British cocktail well known for its herbaceous and referring taste. It is made with Pimm's No. 1 Liqueur, fresh lemon, mint and seasonal fruit. This is well garnished and tastes great! For dessert, we are trying the Panna cotta. Panna cotta ('cooked cream') is an Italian dessert made with sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and moulded. It may be flavoured with coffee, vanilla, or other flavours. Wow! This is great! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right downtown Manchester on Main Street is this gem where Lucky Taco once stood. It echoes the standard British pubs and taverns from across the pond with deep yellow lighting, woods, exposed brick walls and open floorplan kind of vibe. It was lively, energetic and welcoming! Service: Lara took excellent care of us and she was very helpful! I had no issues at all. Food/Drinks: On the table when we arrived was an Irn Bru which is a SUPER popular drink sold in Scotland, often beating Coca-Cola in sales. It tasted like orange licorice, but it was actually pretty decent. Our first appetizer was an order of Crisps which were like thick cut potato chips with some garlic parmesan seasonings which I actually enjoyed! There was plenty of flavor from each component involved. Next up was the 007 which was their spin on the martini James Bond orders! In it is Wheatley Vodka, Bombay Gin, and English Tea Infused Lillet Blanc. It tasted like a dirty martini and was pretty strong! Smooth as well. I enjoyed it. Next up was a dish called Toad In The Hole which is Yorkshire pudding stuffed with smoked sausage then topped with caramelized onions and gravy. I have never seen anything like this before, but it was so strange, but pretty decent! The Yorkshire pudding was a bit eggy and dense. The gravy was a must though, since the other components of the dish lacked the salt that I was seeking. Next up was the Cloth Of Gold Old which is an Old Fashion with a twist which contained Old Forester, fresh lemon and honey. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure why the mention of Old Fashion was on the menu unless this is supposed to differ from an "Old Fashioned". No matter, moving on. Next up were the Potato Pom Pom which are fired potato balls served with a house-made cheddar cheese sauce. It sounds like a simple dish. The cheese was thick, majorly cheddar-y. I really, really liked these! They tasted like a fancy tater tot. The potato inside was so soft and tender and the exterior was so crispy. My last drink of the night was the Bramble On Rose which is their take on a 1980's classic created in Soho, London. In it is Bombay Gin, fresh lemon, rose water and blackberry syrup. This was my favorite drink of the night. It was fresh, had some herbal flavors and the rose flavor made itself known. I really, really liked this drink and would certainly order it again. Lastly, the quintessential Fish & Chips! It's Atlantic cod in a brown ale batter, served with musky peas, chips, tartar sauce and a curry sauce. The curry sauce was surprisingly fantastic. I was blown away and absolutely needed more of it. The mushy peas resembled guacamole, but I had no idea how I was supposed to eat them. Lol. Were they a sauce? I don't know, but they tasted exactly how you'd think they'd taste. The fish was also fantastic. It was light, yet greasy and crispy. Value: The most expensive thing on the menu is $22.00. This place is not expensive at all so you certainly won't break the bank. Portions are decent size too. In conclusion, I absolutely enjoyed myself here and highly recommend you (reading this) to check it out! British food is... unpredictable if I must throw a word on it. Lol. Like, I almost couldn't predict what some of this stuff would taste like because I had never had anything like it before! Now, I'm a believer!

While technically a sports bar, the food and drink quality is way above a normal sports bar. Right off the bat they serve waters. For mg first drink, I'm having a Black Manhattan made with Elijah Craig Small Batch, Carpano Antica, black walnut bitters and filthy cherries. Filthy Black Cherries are premium, all-natural Italian Amarena cherries, slow-cooked in copper pots and widely recognized as a top-tier garnish for whiskey and tequila cocktails, such as Old Fashioneds and Manhattans. Known for a sweet-tart flavor profile, they are a favorite among professional bartenders for their firm texture and rich syrup. The Manhattan is a classic, spirit-forward cocktail made with whiskey (traditionally rye), sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters, stirred with ice and strained into a chilled glass, typically garnished with a maraschino cherry or a lemon twist. It's known for being strong, sophisticated, and balanced, with a mix of spicy, sweet, and bitter notes. This is real good. It is nicely garnished and perfectly balanced. I think the bartender is the owner. For out first appetizer, we are getting the Fornarelli's Meatballs. These are these of their "famous" meatballs made with their signature marinara sauce with fresh basil and mozzarella. These are good! Wow! We are next getting the Onion Rings which are their signature house-made onion rings fried golden brown with chipotle aioli. Yep. These are good! I like the sauce! For our third appetizer, we are getting the Sicilian Calamari which is fresh calamari and hot cherry peppers fried with their signature marinara sauce. These are tasty! I love the sauce! Sprinkle that lemon! For my next drink, I'm having the Pearly Old Fashioned made with Maker's Mark, filthy cherries, Cara Cara orange, raw sugar and Angostura bitters. It's known for being strong, sophisticated, and balanced, with a mix of spicy, sweet, and bitter notes. Oh yeah! This is well garnished and perfectly balanced. For my entree, I'm having the Chicken Piccata made with chicken breast sautéed with artichokes and capers in a white wine sauce and chefs choice of starch and veggies. This is delicious! I love the sauce! For dessert, I'm having the Nonna's Tiramisu. This is their authentic tiramisu recipe just like Nonna used to make! We are also getting the Covonut Gelato Truffle made with coconut gelato, mango sorbet center enrobed by chocolate and coconut flakes. This is the biggest chunk of tiramisu I've ever had! Situated in The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk, Burtons Grill offers a bar, a spacious dining room, a seasonal patio, and a space suited for large groups. My friends wanted to take me out for my birthday and asked where I'd like to go. I chose this spot because I'd heard so many good things about it. Since the weather was pleasant in October, we decided to sit outside. For starters, we shared a rustic bread roll served with pesto, herb, and garlic butter, and olive tapenade. In my opinion, the olive tapenade really stole the show, giving the bread a bold flavor. The bread itself was soft, warm, and utterly delicious. We also tried the signature wings coated in maple sriracha and the Memphis dry rub wings. Although I couldn't distinctly taste the maple or sriracha, the wings were still packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, which was rich with spinach, artichoke hearts, parmesan, tomato-jalapeño relish, and served with tortilla chips. It was genuinely tasty. For my main course, I went with the Steak Frites, featuring a charred flatiron steak served with béarnaise sauce and Parmesan-truffle fries. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. The truffle fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the truffle flavor really made them stand out. It was a simple yet satisfying dish. My friends chose the crispy fish sandwich, comprising fried haddock, pickled red onions, pickles, tartar sauce, all nestled in a brioche bun with a side of French fries. Another friend ordered the general Tso bowl, which included braised chicken glazed with general Tso sauce, along with charred broccoli, a rice-and-quinoa blend, julienned vegetables, toasted almonds, scallions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and ginger aioli. Both of them said their meals were fantastic. Our server was friendly, lively, and attentive throughout the meal. I definitely plan on returning to try more items from the menu.

Hello, I'm writing because I had an uncomfortable experience at Maggie McFly's today that I feel is important to share, especially because this restaurant has been such a big part of my son's life. We've celebrated multiple birthday gatherings here, as well as his middle school graduation. It's genuinely his place. It is not my personal favorite, but we come because he insists Maggie McFly's has the best grilled cheese. Every visit, without fail, we order two grilled cheeses for him. Today, he ate the first one and it was perfectly fine. When he started on the second, he immediately said it tasted fishy. He kept trying to eat it because he didn't want to make a fuss, so about half of it was gone by the time we let our server know. She was very friendly and immediately said she would bring it to the manager. What happened next is what prompted me to reach out. The manager came over holding the half-eaten grilled cheese at an angle, almost like she was presenting it as evidence. The first thing she said was, "I'm confused, half of this is already eaten." My son explained again that it tasted fishy, and instead of empathy or even a simple "I'm sorry that happened," she repeated, "I'm still confused," as if she didn't believe him. There was no apology, no attempt to make the situation right, just an attitude that left both of us feeling uncomfortable. I even said, very clearly, that he was still hungry and I was happy to pay for another sandwich. I wasn't asking for anything free. I simply wanted my son to get something he could eat. Later, after the replacement sandwich came, she walked up behind us, saw that I had the Maggie McFly's website open on my phone, and said, "Did that come out better for you guys?" The tone suggested nothing had just happened, as if she hadn't been dismissive minutes earlier. The disconnect felt jarring. We got an $8 credit toward the bill at the end. The entire interaction felt dismissive and shaming, especially with the way she held the sandwich and questioned him. And the impact was immediate. My son walked out saying he never wants to come back, and that's really the most unfortunate part. This restaurant has been his favorite for years, the place he chooses for milestones and celebrations, and the one time he spoke up about something being wrong, he was made to feel small for it.
