    Quartz Carrara

So this starts off with a missed turn pulling out of the Shell station as my mom and I were running errands. We got rerouted onto the side roads and planned to look at quartz countertops later on the same day. Just so happens we passed this place and saw some in the parking lot. We went inside and Antonio showed us around, it was a quick and to the point process, which is how I prefer. This was a somewhat smaller job, so they said it could be measured and installed within a week. We picked out a slab and agreed on a time for the counter to be measured. The morning of, I got a text from Antonio confirming and someone showed up to measure. I later received a text (within like 30 minutes) from Jenny who confirmed the quote and work. The price was about 40% less for the exact same product (same name and thickness) from another local granite company. I had my kitchen done about a year and a half ago, and wish I would have went with this company instead. Even though I love it, I am sure I would have saved money coming here. The day of install two gentleman showed up and got to work. there was very few questions and they knew what to do. There was one concern on the piece by the shower, I assume it was a difficult piece to have right, they suggested to back cut the old piece under it so the new piece would hide it, it worked out fantastically. They cleaned up the countertops and caulked all the edges that needed it. There was a few minor saw marks on the sink cut edges, but some bar keepers friend and light scrubbing took care of that. Thanks again!

Antonio the owner does not take responsibility for his mistakes and blames others. We had a difficult time working with Legacy due to the owners lack of customer service. Mistakes happens and thats understandable. But this was unacceptable Kitchen Countertop came in about a week. I chose the exact countertop that was shown in the showroom but when it arrived it had way less patterns and was mostly white. When the workers came to install it (Sept 16) i showed them a picture from the showroom and they told me they were different and that the slab they brought was even called a different name (but was a similar one from the one i chose). I confronted Antonio and he said the workers didnt know what they were talking about and i just took his word for it. After installation we realized they cut the faucet hole too close to the wall and that prevented us from being able to instal our faucet. In addition, the whole countertop was installed crooked. I called Legacy right away and they told me they would let Antonio know. Four days passed and no response (I assumed because it was over the weekend). I called Antonio and he claims he had no idea. He then said he would stop by the next day to fix it. Next day came (Tues Sept 22) and he was able to fix the faucet but he needed to send over his guys to reposition the countertop. He then offered us a discounted backsplash and bridge for $100 for the inconvenience. This was great since it would make the kitchen look so nice! (But little did i know........) His workers were scheduled to come by Saturday (4 days after agreeing on the backsplash and to reposition the countertop) so we stayed home and waited. No one ended up showing so i called Antonio and he said "the installer didnt show? Ill call another crew Monday". Now were thinking okay this sucks. A whole Saturday wasted. My dad ended up having to come over (while still working remote) on Monday to meet with the installers since i couldnt be home. I got home at 6pm to find out they still never showed. I felt so bad that my dad was stuck at my house all day waiting. I texted Antonio (a little more stern this time) and told him that it was unacceptable for making us wait a whole week for no one to show up to fix a mistake that they did. His reply "i already talked to your dad. No need to wait". No apology or anything?? Unprofessional! The next day comes (Tues Sept 28) and his worker shows up. He brings in the backsplash that was supposed to be a courtesy and IT WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOR (see picture posted). Now this is making me question the countertop again and if he was BSing me! At this point we do not want the backsplash anymore. We want to be done with this installation and never deal with Legacy again. His worker didnt even know he was there to reposition the countertop! He said he was just here to deliver the backsplash and finish the job because he QUIT. He told us all the reasons to not trust Antonio. Why does Antonio keep sending his workers to fix this huge issue and not come himself?? Why is he sending a worker that has this type of attitude to finish the job?? This does not make me feel confident that he will care to put in quality work. We address all these issues with Antonio and how it has been such a nightmare. His argument was that "i gave you a discount for the backsplash and you dont want it". Of course we dont want it anymore??? You messed up??? We are done at this point so why do we want it!? The whole time he kept blaming his workers for installing it incorrectly, choosing the wrong slab, cutting it wrong. As the owner you should be taking responsibility. I told him it was wrong that we waited two days for no shows and his argument for that was "we dont need a babysitter you dont have to be home". Obviously we do since each time you come here there has been mistakes. What if we weren't home and they installed the backsplash?? It would have been another issue! At the end, he did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience and this has been the worst company i have ever worked with.

This company started off with good pricing but didn't deliver as expected. They sent out the wrong size abs blame of course the customer for their error. They mixed up the measurements and did not fit my kitchen island. They tried to say it will work and installed but it is not correct and doesn't look right and looks unprofessional and unfinished. They also tried to offer me a piece of scrap left from another job to rectify the incorrectly cut one. They now have threatened to send to attorney and tack on fees for unpaid balance for the incorrect granite. When speaking to the multiple staff member starting with the rude office staff and even ruder owner Antonio, I never felt respected as a client. Please go elsewhere while these guys seem cheap on pricing it costs more in the long run.

Legacy Granite is the best bang for your buck! When it comes to countertops in the ATX area, they are one of the most affordable places you can find, especially if you have a large kitchen. We had a unique situation where we would need 3 slabs which came up to well over $10K with other companies that require you to purchase a full slab and then pay for fabrication. At Legacy, they were able to quote us per square foot, saving us over $3K! Team was professional and fast. Very happy with the finished product as well!

Wow, legacy does it every time! We did a pretty extensive renovation, updating our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. We were working with all natural stone selections, including a remnant marble piece for the bathroom. Legacy knocked it out of the park! They maximized the best parts of my stone and made sure the veining was all cohesive. You can't just use any fabricator when using natural stone. It's so imperative to use someone that knows about the delicate nature of marble and quartzite, and we fully trust legacy with this project and all our future projects. Antonio is wonderful to work with. He is responsive and works with your schedule. I can text him anytime and know he will get back to me asap with any questions or concerns I may have. His team is excellent and I trust them installing in my home and taking care of our floors and walls in the process (not every installer does this)! Thank you so much for your excellent work and we look forward to working with y'all when we move our work upstairs! Oh and I also included a picture of the marble fireplace they installed a year ago!

I know that no one reads long rants so I'm going to leave out a LOT, my hope is that I can keep a few people from having the same nightmare experience I had with legacy granite. From the start we were already having problems but I'm going to skip all that and go right to the actual installation, they were supposed to start Saturday at 12pm so we woke up early to take everything out of the kitchen and move the cars out of the way so they could just pull in and get to work At 3pm I called them to cancel because everything leading up to this point had been a joke, I spoke with the owner Antonio who assured me they were almost there, so for the sake of just getting it done I agreed keep going. 4:30pm they arrived, after a few hours they said they couldn't finish because there was no daylight left for cutting the granite (who's fault is that?!? and why can't they use my garage light??), they said they could come back tomorrow to finish. My entire Saturday was now ruined and I already had plans for Sunday but ended up cancelling them to make this work. This time we agreed to 8am and told him we HAD to leave at 10am per our plans, he said no problem as it would only take them about an hour to finish. 9:45am Sunday no one has even shown up, I call the owner Antonio and he can't seem to reach those guys so he says he will have another guy come. The new guy calls me and I ask about the daylight issue and he even says its BS, he says he will be a few hours and that he isn't a licensed plumber so he won't be reinstalling the sink that the other guys uninstalled, WHAT?!?! I'm paying a lot of money for this installation and nothing was said about this, so I call the owner again, he tells me its a liability but he will have them do it as a favor, however if it leaks he is not liable.... at this point I lose it on him and start yelling (I'm a very laidback guy so this is rare), he hangs up on me. I text him and ask him about cancelling he tells me my only option is to pay him to finish the job (picture 1). The guys finally showed up and after ruining my entire weekend, they left without caulking anything, sealing the sink to the granite or even installing the outlets, when I asked about this they told me I needed to do it (picture 2). Obviously, I was getting nowhere with the owner Antonio so my wife called him, we texted him pictures what wasn't finished and even he was like "ok, I'll have someone come out tomorrow" this time he sent a new guy and he actually did a great job. Save yourself the trouble and go with one of the many other eager granite companies, I wish we would have

Loved they showed up in masks and also worked in masks at their office. We are super delighted with out new vanity countertop. Looked at the remnants from their yard and found a good price compared to other places we shopped. Quick turnaround (within a week) once we chose the material. Work with Antonio or Jenny, both are the best!

Legacy did a great job installing our beautiful new quartz counter top in our kitchen. They were easy to work with and installation was quick! They have a wide variety of quartz and granite offerings and great prices. We will work with them for future projects!

Met with Nate in about a built in desk and a built in entertainment center in December and he told me he was booked 2-3weeks out. I said, sure no problem, we can handle it in January. Come mid January, he tells me he needs more time. I say sure. Come February I reach out and no answer. Called, emailed and texted, still no answer (mind you I had already given 50% down to him). Finally after not hearing from him for almost 3 weeks he responded and saying he was just getting started on building the cabinets. It's now mid-March and he finally got to installing the units. But don't expect him to arrive at the time he says. He was consistently 2-3 hours late to the time he promised to be here (which required us to adjust work schedules). First day he arrived at 2:30pm after saying he would be here at noon and then had to come back on a Sunday because he couldn't finish it all in one day. Now that's just the communications part, as for the quality of the work. I have been very disappointed. I had asked for a 1.5" wood top on my desk. After install I've noticed it's a single 3/4" plywood top with an additional 3/4" plywood strip on the front to make it look like it's 1.5". Not only that but because it's plywood there are obvious seams on the desktop. And the front is covered with a veneer which bubbled in multiple places and even though he came to glue it back down still does not look great. There are seams in multiple places where he could have easily gone with a full piece of dimensional lumber instead. There are screws protruding on the side of the cabinets which are the only sides that face out so would have expected the screws to be hidden. He left part of one of the tops uneven, even though I brought to his attention before the painters came, so he had to come back out and fix it and the painters had to come back out and fix the paint again. Also when he put in the shelves after the paint (because he didn't have the shelf pins and had to order from amazon), he scratched up the paint pretty badly in pretty obvious places. I've worked in construction as my dad was a contractor and I fully understand things happen or sometimes things don't work out as planned but for the price I paid I would have expected much higher quality and less chasing to get this completed.

U granites & Cabinets More's product and service are so much beyond my expectations. Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I like the cabinet's materials, how it built (those features I probably didn't really think about before). I started with the kitchen cabinets and countertops, extended to the bathroom's vanities . I am very happy about the decision, and much more appreciative what Amy, Victor and other staffs at U Granites & Cabinets More has provided. Victor did a huge favor to me by doing all kind of other jobs along the kitchen remodeling. I tell you, that's another level experience and knowledge from him about house remodeling and how to have those done correctly, effectively and cost-efficiently. Cost wise, I gave you my example. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. If you come across this shop and this review, I highly recommended at least give Amy a call or stop by at their shop to check out their offering. I would be happier that you do choose them as remodeling partners because I know you are making the correct decision.

I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.
