Since they moved to the new larger location, it is cleaner and not so crowded. I go to Jason (J-Dogg) have nothing but good things to say about him and the place. He is an old school tattooist which is what I wanted. They are always busy! Always. I have only been there once where everyone was not working, and it didn't take long for a walk in to show up and they were all once again working. I recently got a forearm tat with Josh. He was really easy to work with & I love the finished piece. He quoted me a good price range up-front & even though we were there until 11pm at night, he didn't try to charge me any extra. He actually charged me the bottom end of his price quote range. We met twice before the night to go over the artwork too. He was really pleasant whilst doing the tattoo & I enjoyed our 4 hours together! The arm has healed beautifully & I'm just so pleased with the result. All the staff were welcoming, courteous & fun to meet & I never felt "looked down upon" as can happen in tattoo shops that think they are above the clientèle. After getting my first couple of tattoos elsewhere, Lefty's was recommended to me by my brother. I first went in to see the artist Jason for a touch up to an older tattoo. Then came back for new ink. I've now been to Lefty's on four separate occasions for my own work to be done in addition to the several trips that my husband and friend have made there for ink. Every single time it's been a great experience. They are clean, careful, friendly and are very good artists. No one will ever tattoo my husband or I except Jason Martin at Lefty's as ever single one of my tattoos healed up nicely and look great. I have been to Lefty's twice now, and if I get any more tattoos, I'm going there with 100% confidence that it will be a great experience, with an extremely reasonable price, and absolutely no buyer's remorse. The first time I went, I got a tattoo from Ryan. He was able to adjust without an already-existing drawing or print to make exactly what I wanted. I wanted greek lettering done a certain way, and he did an awesome job! My tattoo still looks super sharp. The second I got from Chris. He is the shit!! Not only is he really good at doing simple line tattoos, but is super diverse in what he can design for you. It can be something rustic, something simple/more contemporary/ minimalist, or something more whimsical, he can do it. He was really efficient, super personable, and also customized my tattoo to exactly what I wanted. He definitely helped me figure out where it was going to look best, would last longest and what size to get, while he gave me really thorough after-care instructions and answered all of my questions clearly. He also was really big on keeping everything and anything very, very clean. It is currently 9:10 and after talking to someone on the phone and getting the green light about walking in to have 3 small words tattooed on my chest I was turned away. The guy who was sweeping told me he was getting ready to take off even though I had just spoken to someone who told me to come in and get it done. They have on the yelp and the shop front the hours "12 pm to 10pm". These guys clearly don't care about your business if it's something small. I hope the owner talks to his employees. read more

Ok, so this review is for Chris Smith. He's my first choice for tattoo work I get done In California. He's great with colors and pretty much anything. He works with you to get exactly what you want. Most of the work I have on me is done by him. You defiantly get what you pay for. He's great. The tattoo shop is in a small little plaza. Hidden gem I'd say. Very welcoming and a friendly staff. Very clean and professional. They take cash and cards. So def a plus for me cuz I don't usually carry cash on me. But if you need cash there is a atm. I got my second tattoo here. The people were nice and I loved the way my tattoo looked when I first got it. After it healed not so much. To be fair they said I could get free touch ups but I think I'm going to get it touched up somewhere else. I got it on my wrist and the ink ran. It looks smudged in spots. It's messed up. Now I'm going to have to make the lines thicker, which was not what I had wanted. Not good. I'm going to get it touched up at outer limits. I hope they can fix it. read more

Oh yea! Hurts so good. My ONLY location for tattoos! I started over year ago and YES I'm slightly addicted. They have a new location. Very clean and sanitized. People there are awesome but I have to say, my go-to person is the ONLY asian kid there, Nhan! I follow his work and it's amazing. He's honest about what he thinks of your ideas and recommendations are great. I trust him and I throw him an idea and let him run with it and so far it's worked out great. I love this place! I got my first tattoo here, and was really nervous about it, took me forever to pick this place out. I looked them up through Google, and they have the least amount of bad reviews so i decided to just go with them. I made it pretty easy for them, since i came in with what i wanted and exactly how i wanted it so basically it was a copy and paste job. I brought a friend with my and they let her sit with me while i was getting it done. Jeremy did my tattoo on my ribs and he was really nice, it didnt even take as long as he predicted and even bumped down the price a bit because he said i did very well for being tattooed on my ribs and for it being my first tattoo.
