Always stellar service and delicious high quality food. They have revamped their desserts which is great the mango and coconut sorbet are delightful and refreshing! Outdoor seating is a must in spring/summer.

Saturday night Birthday Celebration! I've been wanting to try the food at Lefkes for a while now and felt like it would be great for my husband's birthday dinner. My friends were seated promptly upon arrival due to having reservations. Once I arrived with my husband for his surprise birthday dinner our server Herbert was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and his recommendations were very helpful in choosing our apps and entrees. Since we were a party of 8 it was decided to choose several different apps and salads. All the food was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was great. They had a live DJ and a gentleman who walked around taking pictures. There were a few things that I wasn't fond of, the first thing was that they turned the lights down very low, second thing was that the guy who was taking pictures kept coming back to the table for more pictures which was a little annoying and the third was that our server although very funny and nice didn't get our food orders correct. I'm not sure if him not writing it down was the reason for that but that was upsetting because my husband didn't get what he ordered and it was his birthday dinner. Thank God we had great company and conversation so it wasn't a huge deal life has so many other things to focus on but a server should know with a party with more than 2 people you should write things down lol. The decor was stunning, they also have beautiful outdoor dining once weather permits and valet parking. This place is great for large dinner parties.

What can I say about Lefkes, except for this place is insane. I think Friday night and Saturday night they just go all out with a DJ and napkin throwing. The vibe is crazy. We also dined here and ordered the sushi...who would've thought that sushi at a Greek restaurant would be this good. Sushi seemed a bit pricey, but for the atmosphere totally worth it. Service matched the price and vibe. Exceptional. We also met the manager of Lefkis. She's also dope as hell too. She knows how to make customers feel they need to come back. We waited about an hour after our reservation time and she hooked us up. Definitely knows how to please customers to get repeat customers. Coming back any chance I get.

Had a BLAST going on Saturday at 9pm for a drink. Loved the mango habanero Smokey drink was absolutely delicious. Beautiful place and people! So many bdays with people celebrating and dressed up which was so festive! The DJ, live drummer, napkin throwing, smoke machine... had so much fun dancing my butt off for hours!! Cannot wait to come back! (DJ starts after 8pm. Super party time was I think after 11pm.)

The food is good, I had a sushi roll with truffle, mayo. The drinks are very good service is good. Ambience is fine. They may get a party after 10 o'clock. But the crowd can get a little rude and rowdy. I recommend going before 10 o'clock unless you're looking for a wild night.

What a beautiful place! I came here on a friend's recommendation, and I absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic; our waitress was kind and friendly. He recommended some great dishes, and the food was extremely delicious. The restaurant's interior is beautifully elegant. We chose to sit outside because the weather was sunny, and I really enjoyed it. There were some celebrations happening nearby, making it a lovely spot for a family dinner or a relaxing meal. They offer a variety of food options, some of which can be pricey, but they also have great deals during the week.

Had an incredible lunch at Lefkes Estiatorio in Englewood Cliffs. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked tender, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The short ribs were just as impressive, rich and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We ended the meal with the orange cake, which was the perfect finish light, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from James and Christol. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire meal. Their professionalism and warmth elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend for a beautiful lunch with amazing food, a lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service! Evee and Harry

Visited Lefkes for happy hour on a Friday. We were seated quickly, but it turns out, the happy hour menu is only available in the bar area. This was annoying, but we moved to a table closer to the bar after some griping from the host. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating otherwise. We ordered a meatball pizza, fries, rock shrimp, calamari, mini gyros, and the buffalo chicken souvlaki. They were all OK. Drinks were reasonably priced for happy hour. It's a nice restaurant, but the food wasn't anything I'd come back for. Only worth it for happy hour.

The ambiance here is lovely. It's a beautiful restaurant with great service. I do enjoy their appetizers more than the entrees. Last time I tried the beef gyros which were okay. My favorites are their calamari and sushi rolls.

Came here for lunch with some friends. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service was excellent. Our server made recommendations, explained the best dishes in the menu, and even offered us cookies at the end of our meal. I ordered a burger and side salad with a drink. My drink was great if you like spicy and smoky margaritas. The burger was phenomenal and the side salad was good (could have used a bit more dressing for my taste). Everyone else in my party also enjoyed their meals. I will be back to try more of their great menu selections.

My cousin decided to celebrate her birthday at Lefkes for Happy Hour and it was a great choice. The place is very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating options. The servers checked in on us frequently and made sure our glasses stayed full. The Happy Hour cocktails we tried were all really good and they also have a decent selection of beer. As for food, we ordered one of each appetizer on the Happy Hour list and then did a second round of our favorites. The Veggie Chips were fried perfectly, not too oily and paired extremely well with the tzatziki; we doubled up on those. I also really liked the Buffalo Souvlaki. It was cooked perfectly and the Buffalo sauce added a different flavor to the traditional dish. I feel like it's really easy to have overcooked, dried out souvlaki but that wasn't the case here. Honestly, I enjoyed every dish we ordered. Needless to say I left very full and satisfied. If their Happy Hour is any indication of how Lefkes is overall, they're probably very good! I'd come back.

A group of us enjoyed dinner here on a quiet Sunday night. We enjoyed the trio of dips, beet salad, grilled calamari, soup, lamb shank, cod, firecracker sushi roll, short rib, scallops as well as dessert. Service was sketchy. Took a while to get their attention to get drinks & they didn't bring out all our apps at once. We thought they forgot the calamari as it came out much later. This place is nice inside with a great but pricey menu. Drink prices are exorbitant- $21 for a Tito's straight up - crazy! One star off for the service & one star off for the price gouging on drinks. Food was good though & oh - there is valet although it was not needed on a Sunday night.

Firstly, they have Greek music playing that you can here before you even open the door. They had my heart right there. Next thing I saw was the small little store of Greek products and packaged food along the wall. From gemista cookies to my favorite chocofreta bars, things were looking very good. We had already had lunch elsewhere, but came here for coffee and dessert. I never really have cold coffee in the winter but I could not pass up a chance to have a freddo espresso again. I was truly so happy I found a place where I could order a proper Greek coffee! So I got the freddo espresso and told my friends to do the same, and we each got a few desserts. The mini bougatsa was delicious (get it warmed up!) and I tried a few bites of the frozen yogurt. Sooo good! On a Thursday afternoon the space was pretty packed! The three of us found an available table after ordering and our coffees and desserts were brought right over. So happy I found a space for a little bit of Greece when I am homesick (I was born and raised in NJ, but still...) and can't wait to come back to try more of their food.

The recent expansion into the neighboring space really opened things up with plenty of seating without sacrificing energy. Noise level was balanced, lively but still easy to talk. Free parking lot with ample spaces makes it effortless. We started with a Horiatiki salad and their signature triangles of warm pita with Greek olives -- a simple touch they consistently get right. I ordered the Meraki Passion Platter, while my wife had the butterflied branzino with Patates Tiganites. The homemade round fries are addictive - thin fries with a crisp outside. Portions are generous without being excessive. Service was polished and familiar; we've seen many of the same staff over the years, which says a lot. Dishes were cleared promptly and everything felt well-paced. Extremely clean throughout. This place continues to deliver. We highly recommended.

I love how they really sliced the lettuce finely, I hate shoveling a tree branch in my mouth when I'm eating a salad. I also felt like the ingredients were super fresh. I do need to stop ordering tomatoes, I don't like them and never will. That feta cheese? Holy shit. Where do Greek places get feta cheese? it's like a different breed than anything I've ever bought for myself. I also ordered hummus and I'm not sure whether the hummus came with pita or the salad but they provided a literal dinner portion of food portion-size of pre-sliced pita. Some of it was a lil soggy, I wonder if they warmed it up and it was steaming in there? Not sure what else could have occurred there but it crisped up nicely in the oven. The hummus was also delicious. It was what I would expect from a Mediterranean place. GF ordered some sardine entree business, greens, and mashed potatoes. "It was good" she says. I snuck a forkful of mashed potatoes last night and they were very good. I'm a fan of this place.

I have to say the customer service was outstanding. I'm aware that this is a new business and they have other locations popping up around the city so I hope my review gets read for some resolutions. One- if you don't have ingredients to make certain items or if you are promoting a new item to your menus, make sure all locations have the item available for purchase or at least say on your social media, this item is exclusive to a certain location. I wanted a hot chocolate on this freezing cold day in the city just to get a water down mess. I was told they didn't have whipped cream and I also can tell they weren't ready to provide this item because it rang up on the register as a latte, along with another employee having to show the girl how to ring it up. It was not worth the price I paid. I was furious and disappointed. I think it was close to $7. The good news though is that my food was phenomenal. I got a dip sampler that comes with pita bread and some sauces. I don't care for plain hummus so I asked could I substitute another dip and received an extra Tzatziki sauce. My favorite of them all was the Baba Ghanoush, The spicy feta was just ok. I also received a free taste of the Greek goddess and some green sauce I forgot the name of with a sample of some fries. Delicious! I wish I had spent my money on those fries rather than the awful cup of chocolate. The fries were amazing with the little sample I had. The chicken I brought extra with the dip sampler was also tasty. It was so juicy and flavorful I would come back to purchase again. I also ordered some mini bougasta to take home to my girls. They were happy with them. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have the cups of dessert they again had on the insta page, I was told they weren't sold at that location, although the girl who rang up my order didn't know what I was talking about I had to show her. I decided to just take everything to go although the place was nice to dine in. They had very pretty decor and it was very clean inside. So although I was mad about my cup of hot water and what tasted like soggy bread with nuts inside my cup, it doesn't even deserve to be call hot chocolate, I wouldn't let that stop me from visiting again. I mean again great food, great service, and really good healthy options. Prices are not cheap but what isn't in this expensive city we all trying to thrive in. Thumbs up on this one and Happy Yelping! AGAIN-DO NOT BUY THE HOT CHOCOLATE!

I'm not sure why we avoided Yasouvlaki for so long. Maybe it was grief over the closure of Pekarna…read more(the restaurant formerly in that space). Maybe it was restaurant fatigue / too many social obligations at restaurants not of our choosing in this neighborhood. Maybe it was a hidebound fixation with our go-tos (where our experiences have become too numerous and repetitive to re-review in any interesting way). In any event, our recent first meal at Yasouvlaki gave us pangs of regret for having waited so long. It's not an innovative kitchen -- the kind of place that might win James Beard or Michelin recognition -- but based on what we tried, the food seems to be more than competent across the board, sometimes even excellent. I probably judge every Greek or Mediterranean restaurant by the quality of their roasted or grilled branzino preparation whether I mean to or not. It's my go-to main, one that makes me really happy when it's well made. Yasouvlaki's made me happy. I do so love a whole branzino, but Yasouvlaki's filet was beautifully prepared. The fish was sweet, the skin crispy, and it was served with rice pilaf (unobjectionable) and horta (good), a traditionally prepared boiled green vegetable, here made with dandelion greens. I love a well made horta. Kudos to Yasouvlaki for making it with something other than boring ol' spinach! The grilled half of a lemon was a perfect accoutrement for the dish. Lamb chops, served with roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts, were also well executed, grilled to a perfect medium rare as the primary consumer requested. Roasted potatoes and Brussels were wholly completely competent. (Note that Brussels were not shaved and deep / air fried to a crisp, as seems to be the norm in restaurants, today. They were halved and oven roasted with olive oil, just as we make them at home. I happen to like this preparation; our kiddos prefer "restaurant Brussels sprouts" -- the greasier the better!) Moussaka was made with tender ground lamb. Both it and the kefte kabob were moist and flavorful. Beet salad was both simple and perfect, a generous portion of roasted beets, fresh arugula, fried halloumi, roasted walnuts, and balsamic reduction. Our table enjoyed everything with the warm, herbed pita wedges that came to the table at the start of the meal and a bottle of a 2021 Greek cabernet sauvignon (unusual, I think?), which was low tannin, but otherwise old vine in style, without the jammy red fruits of many new world style cabs. I didn't foot the bill, so I don't know what the markup was... but it was quite delicious and went well with all of our food, from the branzino to lamb. All in all, Yasouvlaki is a great place to have in our neighborhood and one to add to our rotation. Next time, I'm honing in on the lovely-looking meze.

We were served complimentary pita bread, which was warm, with tasty herbs on top. For my meal, I ordered the Salmon Skewer platter, which came with Greek fries, tabouli, more pita, tzatziki and special house sauce. All of this was a huge portion size, and was plated beautifully. The Salmon had nice grill marks, was tender, flaky, and well seasoned. Greek Fries were satisfyingly crispy with great potato taste. Tabouli was chock full of bulgar, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, along with fresh parsley, mint, and scallions. This was a light and crunchy addition to the dish. The sauces were savory, full of bold flavor. I decided to try the Ekmek Kataifi for dessert, which consisted of pistachio, crispy kataifi, Greek custard, vanilla, topped with light whip. this was delicate, sweet, fragrant, and all the ingredients mingled well together. Service was solid. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were reasonable for the Upper West Side area. I would consider returning to try the Branzino or Grilled Lamb Chops.
