The produce is fresh, and the staff keeps the store well stocked and easy to shop even if it's crowded. The ambiance feels like a small local grocery store, which makes shopping there more enjoyable. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful, and Trader Joe's easily has the fastest baggers of any grocery store. Depending on what you're making, you might need to stop at a larger store for a few specialty items, but I can usually handle my full weekly grocery run here.

No vest, nada. Staff stated they're not allowed to tell customers that dogs are not allowed. Recently a dog pooped on the floor. I love dogs but common sense dictates not a good idea having them around food for obvious health and sanitary reasons. Besides some people are allergic to dogs. Couple with dog in buggy drove by car to Safeway and could have left dog in car. Weather was not too hot or too cold. I will shop elsewhere that abides by the law.
