First location. Obviously considering there are only a few restaurants in Evans Mill/Calcium area,…read morethis place is great. That's about it. My friend ordered the sweet and sour pork, it was not great. I ordered the Crazy Noodles with fried tofu for lunch. Their lunch prices are discounted from their regular price at $10.99. Now tell me how I was charged $14.99? I tried to ask her for the price breakdown but she didn't understand. Or perhaps pretended to understand. Tofu and chicken has no upcharge. The flavor was okay, but nothing great. There was ONE slice of mushroom in the whole dish, that I was looking because that's my favorite. Very disappointing, my friend raved about this place and considering the proximity to Fort Drum, I was hoping it was good so I can go more often! The food was mediocre and the incorrect pricing is upsetting. We will stick to Wish Thai. They have a high chair for kids.

We were in the area looking for some thai food and we stumbled across this gem…read more We placed a take out order, the service was very good, it did not take long for our food to be ready. They do have tables inside if you prefer to dine-in. The pad thai is good, one of the better ones I have tired in the area. We got it with chicken. I would perfect to eat this dine-in, take out the noodles does get a bit soggy and clump all together. I love love their Tom yum chicken soup, they have 2 sizes, I believe it's a small or a large, I got a small which is around 16 oz, I got it non-spicy. Super flavorful, good on a cold day or night. If you're interested in dessert, I would definitely recommend their mango sticky rice, it comes with coconut milk in the size to give it a bit more sweetness, but everything combine together is such a good combination. Super delicious. Other times we have ordered their dumplings, we prefer it pan-friend very good and crispy. I have also tried their pad see iew, I am a big fan of pad see iew, I really like theirs, it's very flavorful and the flat rice noodles are perfect. The pricing is good as well, usually for 3-4 items it's around $40. Pretty average for this area. I would definitely be coming back.

We weren't given enough spoons, when we asked for more they said yes but never brought them. We ended up sharing spoons.. We ordered drinks that never came and at check out were still on the bill we had to ask to have it removed. We ordered 5 pho. 2 adults, 3 kids. for the kids we asked just noodles and meat. instead we got noodles, green onion, cilantro, no meat. ended up picking out all the chopped veggies in their bowls. It just wasn't what we ordered but we didn't complain, whatever. the broth was bland beyond belief. we eat lots of pho, syracuse has a good vietnamese spot, but this place in watertown is pathetic. bland soup for a pho is inexcusable. Inattentive servers. we ordered bahn mi in addition, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. none of us finished our meals, but we didn't complain, we paid full price, we didn't want to be viewed as if we were just trying to get free food/discounts. once we got up from the table it took a solid 5 minutes for anyone to attend to us to settle the bill. it was not particularly busy. this was my 3rd and last visit. never again. no bean sprouts, no basil, no citrus, not enough spoons, didn't bring us our full order, brought us the wrong orders. spent 10 minutes picking out green onion and cilantro from toddlers orders. felt like we were working there. you can easily hit up the asian market in water town get a pack of pho seasoning and make a better tasting meal for less money at home. for the price, it should be good. it isn't. the hahn mi veggies are cut my sometime who has never had bahn mi. cuts of veggies like an italian pizzeria salad. cuts of carrots and cucumber so large they aren't even pickled.

TL;DR/The Short Version: One of the very few Asian…read morerestaurants in Perth, ON. We got takeout. The Pad Ki Mow was tasty. No table service. The Long Version: My husband and I got takeout from The Hot Wok for dinner when we were staying in Perth. All their food is packaged as takeout, but they do have seating where you can eat your takeout food, just no table service. We decided to take the food back to our hotel room instead. We got the Bang Bang Chicken ($18.25) and the Shrimp Pad Ki Mow ($19.50). I called my order in and we walked there to pick it up. I was told it would take about 30 minutes to be ready. (They make everything to order.) We arrived after 30 minutes and our food was ready as promised. The lady on the phone was very courteous and I think she was the same lady at the pickup counter. The Bang Bang Chicken was listed on the menu as "Lightly breaded chicken tossed in a creamy honey sauce, on a bed of greens." It did not mention sesame seeds were sprinkled on top and I forgot to say "no sesame seeds" with my order so I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't really eat this dish, but that was on me. I was able to manage a few bites that didn't have sesame seeds on them (I can handle mild contamination) and I found the meat a bit dry, but the outside was pleasantly crispy and the honey sauce was pleasant. The "bed of greens" was actually raw shredded cabbage and carrots in a creamy sauce. I was asked how spicy I wanted this dish and I said medium, but it wasn't spicy at all, like not even mildly spicy, lol. Don't worry, the food didn't go to waste, as my husband ate it. The dish came with a small serving of steamed white rice. The rice was good, not too mushy nor too dry. The Shrimp Pad Ki Mow was tasty, albeit a tad too oily for me. It had 6 large shrimp, which were all properly deveined. They were plump and juicy. The dish also had broccoli, cauliflower, onions, carrots and Bok Choy. I was happy to see they were very generous with the vegetables. You have the option of having this dish with rice noodles or rice, I chose the noodles since that's what traditional Pad Ki Mow is. However, the noodles used were rather thin, like even thinner than traditional Pad Thai noodles. I like the wider noodles that typically come with Pad Ki Mow (or as I usually know it as, Pad Kee Mao). I was also asked what spice level I wanted this dish and I also said medium, and for this dish, it was a true medium as it had a spicy kick to it. They have their own private parking lot in front of the restaurant that is shared with their next door neighbour Jersey Joe's. Review #42 (2025)
