Someone I trust when it comes to Chinese food especially said that Lee's Garden was the best. So, we traveled from 36th and Ainsworth all the way to 183rd and division. I was expecting a meal that lacked disappointment and gave me some excitement and I didn't get that here at Lee's. As usually I go into a Chinese joint and order one of their dinner combinations, a appetizer and hot tea. I got the Num. 4 which came with pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork, sweet and sour shrimp and almond chicken chow mein, a small order of sesame chicken and hot tea all to-go. The run down: They put the sauce on the shrimp before they package it to-go causing it to become soggy before consumption, the almond chicken chow mein lacked flavor and I ended up picking all of the chicken out due to the texture, the pork and pork fried rice were the best things In the combination and i usually don't order either of these items. The sesame chicken has me on the fence, they fry the sesame right on the chicken which brings out this rich toasted flavor that's amazing but when your chicken has a super chewy texture it takes away from everything else. Their fried rice is slamming, I'm on the fence about everything else but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't come back one day.

Choose 3star only cuz have not eaten here in long time and won't boast from a single visit.. That said! GREAT Food ! ... Pork egg foo young, is pork egg foo young everywhere soooo -- orange chicken didnt meet my desire. Not orangie enough for me (panda orange set my bar on thar) Chow Mein (pork..too salty) Chop Suey (diced chicken almond) was Spot on !! mmm .. BOTH looked great !! Bright Fresh large Vegies !! EXCELLENT..! Pork Fried Rice -! set the bar !! vey vey goo !! ... Order was to go..got Big Box lol !! Timely and fresh and stayed hot.. Over all for our order - too salty for our palat yet will order here again .vs "other local Chinese food.. Located on Powell blvd -- bleegh::p-- " Perhaps i just need change my likings in my orders for more flavor blasts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you Lee's Garden ..!! Great meal tonight!!
