The food is good. Like very good. But that sweet and sour is the worst I've ever tried. Evening wise was super good .

The Partners Bangkok Food

This is the best Thai food I've ever had. Not "just about the best" or "damn, that was…read moreoutstanding!" No, this is wholly unequivocally the THE best with a capital THE. For example, we were recently in Seattle and ate at a really great Thai spot and all said "oh, this is really good, this is place has a great vibe, I wish we had a place like this in Portland." And that's all true. But it wasn't the best. In fact, the best didn't exist.. Until now, Thai places largely fit in a scale of three. 1 - not good. Very few places are here; I can't even think of one. 2 - good. 90% sit here; they have good curries but ok noodles. 3 - These are twos with something extra, like a special dish or maybe both their stir-fries and curries are good. The Partners Bangkok are next level, not just a 4 on my imaginary scale, but so far ahead that I think they're unparalleled. The Tom Kha will be in my dreams for weeks. The green curry as well... Both so full of intense and rich flavor that I believe I've taken the red pill and the truth about what possible may have me ruined. And now for a disclaimer. If you really really like good places, but don't want the red pill, this might not be for you. Like, the pad thai was really good, but not if I wanted pad thai from our usual spot. You have to be open to the idea that the thing you loved previously was a lie. If you want to leave the Matrix however, this place gets the job done like nowhere else.

Stepped over from Wayfinder because out of the options, Thai food seemed the best. I will say it…read morewas a bit different than I'm used to. I have come to kind of recognize her general consistency with my pad kee mao. One of those consistencies is the dark soy sauce. Yeah, that was kind of disappointing and I know some Thai places don't use it quite as much but to me that is pad see ew. In a lot of ways that felt more like a pad see ew. The veggies were very fresh. I did not like the green beans that feels like an odd choice in there but again I only know American Thai food, but I've eaten it many many Thai food restaurants. The other thing I was not the cutest fan of is putting it on top of a big piece of lettuce. I mean by the time you get down there that lettuce is just wilted and horrible so might as well just keep it out. Overall, all the flavor was very good. I wish the egg were mixed in more rather than thrown on top. I guess it did look nicer and its own way, but not sure if I'd return again I don't think that it was necessarily bad food, but I definitely don't think it was my style of Thai food. And truly yelp fashion I'd give it a 3.5 if I could

The service was extremely friendly and welcoming! It was such a great experience to speak with and connect with the family as my food was being made. I enjoyed their chiya (chai/tea) as I waited for my food. I got the Chicken Jhol Momos and the Pork Chili Momos. Both were fantastic! A little dollop of achar on the jojo momos gave it the heat we craved. I will definitely be making a trip back to devour more momos and to try their Nepalese chow mein!

We started with the chicken momos, veggie momos, and bhel, and also shared a thukpa. We had originally planned to order the mutton thali as well, but we were so full by then that we decided to save it for another visit. The owner and staff were incredibly personable and took the time to chat with us about the restaurant and the dishes, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The food overall was fresh and flavorful. The gravy with the chicken momos was especially delicious. I personally didn't enjoy the veggie dumplings very much, and the thukpa felt just okay to me. Still, our friends spoke very highly of several other dishes, so I do think this is a place worth revisiting. I'm hoping to come back and end up just as enamored with it as many of the other reviewers seem to be.
