I love their fried chicken and mashed potatoes & gravy. My favorite chicken place in Scott County.

It is very limited in the local area to find made to order fresh pizza other than big chain stores,…read moreso I was delighted to find blind frog cafe, very nice looking inside with tvs and ice cream, nice atmosphere, I always try a business 2 or 3 times before making reviews, 1st time I went in they had a few people at tables 6 total customers, so not very busy, order 2 personal 10in pizza 1 cheese 1 meat lovers for takeout, very expensive at 9.99 & 14.00 compared to other pizzeria in proximity radius (I don't mind paying for good quality food if it's perfect) again it's a tourist spot so I guess they can charge higher prices, pretty quickly I got the pizzas hot and ready before I could finish my beverage, counter girl was very nice and polite (owner daughter I found out), finally got home look under pizza an was burnt charred like they had the oven way to hot, ok not a deal breaker but I would have not served it to a customer, pizza taste was ok for being burnt on bottom, nothing to rave about, I always give business benefit of doubt maybe they had a bad day or just not on point that day... So I figured a week later I would try again 2nd time, to see if was same or better or worse this time I went in, no customer whatsoever in business, ordered same, 2 10in personal 1 cheese & 1 meatlovers an 1 beverage came to $30.04. Best pizza in the area hands down

We heard that this recently opened and had to go check it out…read more I'm really glad that there's another restaurant in the area. It will be a great spot for the ATV'ers and tourists that are coming back from cabins and rides. The service was great with no issues in seating, ordering, or help - they were very nice! The food was cooked to order and was quite tasty too. The spicy dip was definitely my fave. Will definitely come back soon for a mid-Sunday lunch!

I was so impressed by Wrigley Taproom and Eatery. The menu is small and not printed, instead…read moredisplayed on several blackboards adorning the walls, attractively written with colored chalks. As a "farm-to-table" type of place, many of the items included the name of the farm where the ingredients came from. As it was fairly busy I sat at the bar so as not to tie up a 4-seat table. Soon after sitting a pleasant smoky aroma filled the room and I saw the bartender fiddling with a kitchen torch. Making a Smoked Old Fashioned. So that's what I got. What bourbon, he asked. I wasn't sure so he walked me over to the side of the bar and there were so many! I decided on one arbitrarily, a local craft brand, and he approved. Only a $3 upcharge from the standard one. It was very good, though not as smoky as I expected. The cherry was premium, not the standard bar maraschino. I do like an Old Fashioned, but I sort of wished I noticed the list of specialty cocktails first, which were really unusual and intriguing. Such as the "Garden Gnome": Vodka, yuzu, olive juice, basil, St. Germaine, and gin. For beer lovers, a very large diverse selection, from Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, and Mexico. Most of the entrees are a la carte. Order sides separately if you want them. I decided on tacos, with sides of fries and roasted brussels sprouts. This works here even for a single diner because the sides are small and inexpensive ($4 and $5), though a larger size is also offered. The entrees also were reasonable, most $15. Even the Wagyu Steak was just $29, complete with sides. I've seen prices from $40 to $60 elsewhere. The tacos were Birria, which is a Mexican style of slow cooking meat - short rib in this case - seasoned with adobo. They included mozzarella cheese, cilantro, and pickled onions and cabbage. The flour tortillas were deep-fried and more substantial than usual. Two sauces were offered in tiny bowls. One was thin and was probably the braising liquid from the meat and the other white and speckled with green herbs, sort of like a raita. Very good. The fries, crispy, hand cut, crispy, and seasoned, were also very good. And the roasted brussels sprouts were amazing. The best ever - though I seem to say that often. Sauced relatively heavily in sweet maple glaze, tender, and not at all bitter. I was surprised that there were no seafood items on the menu other than the Smoked Salmon BLT taco. And vegetarians might have a problem here. Not much to choose from other than the Big Ass Pretzel or a green salad. For dessert I had Bourbon Butter Cake, with peaches, Amaro (a peach liqueur), bourbon, and ice cream. Good but it could have used more bourbon and liqueur. And it was warmed and served in a small cast-iron skillet so the ice cream was too melted for my liking. That's my fault. I usually ask for these types of dessert not to be warmed. The great meal was matched by the decor and ambience. Pretty brick walls, decorative chandeliers, and a huge welcoming rainbow flag. Maybe that keeps the MAGAs away. That's fine. They can eat at Chick-fil-A. (Joking. Everybody is welcome here.)

5/5 Stars -- Easily one of the absolute best dining experiences in Kentucky…read more We stumbled upon this gem on Main Street in Corbin, KY today, and it completely blew us away. Located in a beautifully restored 1913 Greyhound bus station, it brings a masterclass in farm-to-table dining with original brick-and-mortar charm. It's authentic, eclectic, and classy without an ounce of pretension--you'll feel just as comfortable rolling in fresh off a lake day as you would celebrating a special occasion. What we ordered (and you need to try): Wagyu Sirloin ($29): We need to talk about this. Served with asparagus and a twice-baked potato for $29, this is easily the single best value dish within a 100-mile radius. Unbelievable quality. Salmon BLT Tacos: Pure perfection, especially after a day on the water. Burrata Cheese & Peach Salad: Absolute fire. Fresh and perfectly balanced. Birria Tacos: Exceptionally rich flavor and executed flawlessly. Blueberry Tiramisu & Limoncello: A shocker of a dessert pairing to end the night--completely knocked it out of the park. The Bar: Drinks are poured with a heavy hand and crafted strong. The open-kitchen concept lets you see the passion this team puts into their craft. Huge thanks to Draven for the warm welcome at the door, and to Laura in the kitchen who pointed us directly toward the must-try dishes and nailed every recommendation. Don't let the reasonable prices fool you--this isn't just "good for Corbin." This is foodie-certified, top-tier dining anywhere in the country. A new absolute favorite. Thank you to the whole team for doing what you do!
