    900 miles from Home and we end up with a dead battery the night before returning home after a girls…read moretrip. (Mind you, this was a girls trip with 3 women). So, we guesstimated we had a dead battery and called the Advance Auto on Argyle. It was 1930 when we called the store and was told they had ONE replacement battery in stock and closed at 2100 (9pm). We arrived at the Argyle location only to be given the runaround and told there was NO battery available and to go to the location on 103rd street. At this point we females are worried that we'll be late for school and work and have to pay for the car to be towed back to Virginia. Upon arriving at this location there are two gentleman working, Devon and Hector. Devon was open to assist us with Hector checking out a customer. We told Devon the situation of being sent from the Argyle location and needing a new battery as we were traveling from Florida to Northern Virginia. Devon was very professional and efficient, taking our information and researching a replacement battery. Hector on the other hand stated they do NOT carry batteries for Mercedes vehicles and therefore would not be able to assist us. Mind you, this was said in a condescending tone not only in front of us but also in front of the customer he was checking out. Clearly on the Advance Auto site it states that they carry four after-market batteries for Mercedes (screenshot provided). Hector was rude and unprofessional, unwilling to help us even after being informed that we had no men available to help us and would have to resort to google or YouTube to install a battery. Hector repeatedly insisted they do NOT carry replacement batteries for a Mercedes and would not help us. Devon on the other hand found a replacement battery and promptly checked us out despite threats of being written up and reported to a manager. We stressed our worry of having a reliable vehicle for the long drive home. Devon was very professional and his actions proved that providing quality customer service is a priority to him. Thanks to Devon for giving us piece of mind, we won't be worrying about being stranded on the way home with a dead battery.

    Went online to pre-ordered some wiper blades for pick up in the store. Message stated order should…read morebe ready for pick up in 30 minutes. Went to the store an hour and a half later and I still had to wait and the order was not picked from the shelves. The shelf had a sign for $10 rebate. I asked the clerk if the rebate had a form or came on a receipt. He stated it would print on the receipt but it did not. Then he proceeded to say since I ordered it on the Internet that I would not be eligible for the rebate. All and all it still took me over 45 minutes to get my wiper blades that were supposed to be ready for pick up and no rebate.

    Girl on the phone said there was " no way" that my dead battery was the reasoning for my cars…read moreperformance being affected.. had me thinking something else was wrong with the car even after I had already had numerous other people tell me it could be because the battery is dead and also looking up online I found that if your battery is pretty much dead it can affect the alternator as well as other performance based things.. sure enough it was just the battery that needed to be changed. Car was running sluggish sounded little bit louder than normal.. got the battery tested it was in fact a bad battery, immediately after replacing the battery it was back to normal.. so for the person that said " there's no way it's the battery" brush up on your facts.

    First time I have given such a low score. Went in yesterday morning after calling a different…read morelocation to confirm if my battery was still under warranty, they checked and lucky me it was under warranty so I could stop by to get it swapped. Opted to come to this location as it was on my route and man, do I ever regret having stopped by. I was kindly welcomed in by a young man, then when he started assisting the individual training him started reprimanding him for not having a pen as that meant he was out of uniform, and how he shouldn't ask for my phone number more than once, he may have been right BUT there is always a way to say things in a nice and kind way. The young man apologized to me and quickly found my account, the trainer at this point had walked away, the young man struggled to identify the details needed for my battery swap, he called the man training him and at that point said trainer tried convincing me that my battery was not under warranty. I explained that I had called and had confirmed it was prior to coming over, he kept insisting I didn't. The manager heard the guys talking and come over and quickly confirmed I was under warranty. They then proceeded to take another call while I stood there,waiting for like felt a lifetime. Once they came back to assist the trainee they went to look at batteries and came back to tell me they didn't have the battery for my vehicle and I needed to go to a different store. A woman at the store overheard them and must have felt bad for me standing there for 40 minutes so she had then call a different store to confirm they had the battery in stock. after a brief time on hold they confirmed they had it in stock. once i made it to the other store they checked the system and had me out in 10 minutes, something that took this store 40 min yo just tell me they didn't have it in stock. I also didn't appreciate the trainer guy telling me it wasn't on warranty trying to get me to purchase a new one.

    I went to Advanced Auto Parts on Normandy Blvd last Friday 2/24/2023. I was in very bad need of…read morewindshield wipers, especially on the passenger side (it was ready to come off). Also, I was out of window washer fluid. I am a senior lady & am no longer able to do any maintenance on my car. Roberta asked if I needed help. She was so nice & helpful. I told her what I needed & if she could install the blades & put in the fluid for me. She said she would & even made suggestions for me. After handing me my receipt, she carried the items out to my car, installed all 3 blades, and emptied the wiper fluid into the reservoir. Then disposed of the waste. I was so relieved. She is an excellent employee & I hope she will still be there next time I need help with my car. I regret that I forgot to write a review a couple of years ago when I was leaving for Christmas vacation. I stopped for wipers & a nice young man installed them for me. When I started to go pay for them, he just said, "Merry Christmas". No charge. You just don't find really, really, great customer service everywhere! This is one place that is a keeper!!
