How convenient for me!! I walked in and I'm a fish out of water as auto gadgets and solutions are not my thing. However, I'm fascinated by those men and women who are excited about spark plugs, mud flaps, wiper blades, WD-40 and fan belts among other things. I knew enough to read the overhead aisle markers and find the product I was in need of purchasing. I'm also not reluctant to ask for suggestions and help. This is where Don comes in. Don is a tall burly man's man with (obviously) an encyclopedia of vehicle needs rolling around in his head. He had a hand full of items he was in route to deposit on a shelf of bin when he stopped to ask if I needed assistance. I wanted to know which plate protector was best: flat acrylic or beveled? He asked two questions which led me to answer that I had s Red Sox plate outliner around my license plate to which he responded, "Oh, you don't need a plate protector just throw that Red Sox thing away and your plate's protected." I love humor in my sales person!! And it was good humor and induced a 10 minute baseball conversation about World Series, American and National league teams and those who are in need of a shot at the titles. What-A-Guy!!!! Meanwhile back at my reason for the visit, Don and I agreed on the flat plate protector. He single handedly cashed me out while balancing in the other arm all those items, gave me a receipt a warm invitation to come back, shook my hand with his free hand and in parting reminded me to trash my Red Sox tag frame. So, I bought the wrong ones a few days ago. I was not sure how to get the key out of my two fobs. David removed the old ones for me & replaced them, plus he gave me a refund since they were out of the other brand. I watched how polite & courteous David was with the 2 gentlemen ahead of me, who needed several different parts. His demeanor never changed even as he tried to help them, all the while ensuring that he had the correct part. I highly recommend this business for any & all auto parts. So my car muffler was a problem for the last few months, but I ignored it, of course like any…read moreperson would because it was only a little rattle well then come to find out my catalytic converter in my car was going bad and my car sounded awful and I go to clients homes for a living so I didn't want to show up sounding like an aftermarket race car I called another company first but then I looked up the reviews I had mixed feelings on going there, so I decided otherwise and I'm glad I made that decision because I felt that I was treated with way more respect more professionalism, and also cracked a few jokes and made me smile in a stressful situation. not only that, but I felt like I did save quite a few bucks, from what I originally thought I was going to have to pay out to replace my whole exhaust system. The parts are still on order so I haven't gotten the installation of the exhaust system but so far the best quality customer service I could've asked for plus he has a Frenchy as a shopp dog, and it was adorable and I'm very dog friendly, so it made me smile and to know that he really cares for his pup means that he really cares about the quality of his workmanship I believe in my opinion I look forward to my new exhaust soon. Both side windows leaked only because ATC was cheeky with their window seals, they pulled them so tight in the sun they pulled away from the corners and leaked. Harley was going to send me enough seal to do the entire both windows, but I received about 2 ft if that. So I can piece it that should not be on a 3500. 00 item. There are scratches and Harley sent me touch up paint which will do in a pinch I supposed. To Harley's credit I lived in Alabama and he was working with me but not what was promised. Now I live in Lake City closer to you I will not buy another anything from Fred's
