Questionable- When I picked the truck up at Mike's I noticed a clicking noise soon after starting the engine. I went back into the office but it went away before Mike and I got back out to the truck. I have noticed that same new noise once more since I got the truck home. If it persists I plan to take it back in.

They were able to take the vehicle in right away and diagnose the problem. It was the sway bar links. I had an upcoming road trip to Rhode Island and time was of the essence; I asked them how long it would take to get the parts and replace them. They said they could have the parts within an hour, do the job and have me out the door within 3 hours - all for $250. I was expecting a $2,000 to $3,000 bill. I said, "Let's do it!" Tyler and Joseph at RPM Ortega were great. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and above all, honest and trustworthy. I say this because their diagnosis showed that I also needed to have the front and rear struts replaced but it wasn't critical at this time. The strut job would run between $2,100 and $2,500 but I could postpone this until it was absolutely necessary. My auto dealer's service department had told me to expect this but I wanted another opinion so that's why I brought my car into RPM Ortega. I had previously brought my old 2001 Acura RL into RPM Ortega for regular service and I was always pleased with them. When I traded in the Acura for the Honda, I started taking it the Honda dealer for service. I will definitely remember RPM Ortega for my future auto service needs.

They have given my boyfriend a ride home several times while his car was in the shop and some food homemade by Mark's mother in the food stand there on-site. That's just great customer service. I've been to dozens of great mechanics over the years and the guys here do a fantastic job. We get what's needed to be fixed in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? Needless to say after they replaced said pads and rotors the brakes continued to squeal. They suggested it would go away "shortly after driving a bit", but if not, they'd return and "oil them". When the squealing continued "after a bit", I contacted them again and heard nothing back. I tried again and was told they'd been sick, but promised to stop by that evening. They never showed. I contacted them again, but did not receive the courtesy of a response. Now I question the money I paid that did not solve the problem and their lack of responsiveness or accountability for stopping my brakes from squealing and following through with what they promised to do to make it right. I no longer recommend these guys so please disregard my earlier glowing review!
