They even had a decent amount of clearance items. Two rolling racks with 50% off. I love a good deal! Jewelry, accessories, and even shoes! Very impressive! Now I'm not a model size and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection in large, XL, and even a few XXL! Thank you! Personally for me the prices are way outside of my budget. $50 for a t-shirt, $35 for a tank top? Sorry, but I couldn't find anything that I absolutely loved for those prices. I will definitely stop back to see what's on sale and what new styles they have though. I personally liked that the sales girls (they were chatting about high school) greeted me, but left me to wander. As soon as I picked a few things up they were by my side offering me a dressing room! The Rack in Maple Grove is decent sized and well laid out. They tend to have a bit of a smaller selection of the higher end designers that you can find at the Mall of America Nordstrom rack but still a decent variety. They carry women's, men's, children's, shoes, accessories and home goods. Parking is plentiful but the traffic flow is a little tricky directing you right into the first row. That row gets 100% of incoming traffic so I'd recommend parking one or two over. Customer service here is always good. While you are kind of on your own to hunt the racks (if you want a personalized shopping experience head to the actual Nordstrom's) the employees always seem to be in a good mood and helpful when checking out. Dressing rooms are always clean and they have plenty of spaces to try on items. It helps when people return unwanted items to the return racks so do your part and don't leave them in the room. Overall I think visiting this location is fun and I rarely leave empty handed!

And although the former owner had retired and they had changed the store name to Croft and Stern Jewelry, the new owner Kelly explained that she had worked with my previous jeweler for several years and could provide the same custom design services. This was very important to me, because I am fairly particular and love special pieces for my wife to turn out just perfect. So, Kelly and I collaborated on an aquamarine ring (my wife's birthstone) offset by two small diamonds with the 3 stones, Kelly explained, signifying Past, Present and Future. And because my wife's hands are petite and because I didn't want anything that would upstage the wedding ring on her other hand, I explained I wanted the ring to be elegant but not ostentatious. In other words I wanted a sort of understated elegance. Well, Kelly worked with me every step of the way and, since we have retired to Florida, she emailed me images of the ring at every stage of the design, custom crafting the ring to incorporate any design tweaks based on my feedback and was wonderful to work with throughout the process. The bottom line is the ring turned out to be simply elegant and exactly what I wanted. Also the ring was/is to be a surprise, therefore all of the design tweaks, the payment and the shipment of the ring were handled completely discreetly. So, if you'd like a piece of custom jewelry designed for virtually any occasion, or would like to browse the beautiful collection they have in store, I would give Kelly and Croft & Stern Jewelry my strongest possible recommendation.
