Unbelievable. I ordered crab Rangoon and they were mostly filled with air. One was completely empty. I know there's a supply chain problem, but come on...

    tiny chicken teriyaki

not bad but they charge a 10 percent service fee on top of a delivery fee which takes care of the tip however the chicken teriyaki are very tiny and the rib tips are overly meatless with way too much sauce. The sesame chicken lunch special, egg drop soup and homemade iced tea were very good. skip the apps and go for the combo or main dishes.

Ask the Community - Lee Xing Chinese Restaurant

The first few(?) reviews said the place wasn't so great and is dingy. The last few reviews say that it's clean and the food is fresh. Has the owner/manager changed in the last few years or has the up keep of the restaurant changed?

Not sure about the owners, but I've been ordering from here for 3 years and have never complained. The food is almost always steaming hot when you get it (unless there's tons of orders and you're the last but still hot and flavorful), they typically…

Typically, I order the chicken poppers and a side of rasta pasta. The chicken poppers are always and I mean ALWAYS cooked perfectly. They are basically smaller versions of chicken tenders. Whenever they arrive to me, they're fried crispy and hot, then tossed it whatever sauce I request. I usually get the honey BBQ sauce but lately I've been testing others and baybeeeee, they have a nice selection! I fell in love with the honey garlic sauce. Whenever I receive my food, it melts nicely onto the chicken, making it sticky sweet. Now, the rasta pasta could use some work. The first time I got it, it was very greasy and lacked flavor. It almost tased like a hot pasta salad, the kind you would get at a cookout or deli. The next time I ordered it, it was perfect. It had a subtle creaminess to it with perfectly cooked bell peppers and a subtle jerk seasoning or something close to it. Third time I ordered it, it was back to subpar. I'll still order it, in hopes that its just as good as that second time. On another note, I've had the mac n' cheese with oxtail. I wasn't a huge fan of the mac n' cheese. It was creamy but there was no pull to the cheese, which I prefer, therefore it kind of fell flat to me. The oxtail however, was heavenly. Very tender with delicious flavor. I also liked that they offer it off the bone. Finally, I would pass on their french fries. They are regular pre-frozen fries, nothing spectacular. Overall, if you are looking for a delicious Caribbean-American fusion, fast-casual restaurant, the sauce-boss wins! Highly recommended.

I went here a while back to order lunch for takeout, and it was pretty good. After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.

I ended up getting 10 and it lasted me another meal (I'm also a female and 5'1, so I can't say my appetite is too huge, but my boyfriend ate 6 and he was pretty full). We also got the Cajun fries to share! Now, I'm not gonna lie, these fries were very salty. So salty that I don't think we're gonna get fries with seasoning next time because they were quite salty! The lemon pepper wings were pretty salty too, which might be why I got full so fast cause I needed to drink HELLA water to wash it down. Now, I must also mention, we did want to eat there at first, but there were hella ants on the side tables and it was giving me the heebie-jeebies, so we ate in our car instead (always keep food trays in your car, gang!) The location is just off the Hutchinson Parkway exit, so parking can be a bit difficult. With all of this said, when it comes to Wingstop, Buffalo, wild wings, and House of Wings, I gotta give it to House of Wings on taste. The wings really were good, and despite what I mentioned above, I would still be coming through again to try different flavors. And yes, that's despite the ants we saw. If it were roaches, you'd never see me in there again. Hopefully they can figure out the ant issue.
