Had my nails done by a man with a handful of tattoos on his arm this weekend. During the service he was live streaming and consistently glancing at his phone. However the worst part was he kept vaping. I should have said something in the moment but I was shocked he was actually taking hits while doing my nails. I'm sure this is some kind of health code violation. I could never recommend this place. read more

I got here early because I read online that the wait time was long. I didn't see any operational hours on their yelp so here it is with a picture attached. I got here at 9 but they said they open at 10 am. My nail techs name was Tina, an older lady. She did my mani & pedi and they came out great. I rarely write reviews but I could not let this go without letting others know that this nail salon does not treat their customers equally. Went here on a Monday at 4:45pm as a walk in. I anticipated that I would have to wait as I did not have an appointment. I walked in, Kim greeted me, she was very friendly. She asked what I needed to get done and I told her that I needed a soak off and then gel overlay. She did not mention how long the wait would be and nor did I ask since there was 2 other nail tech in the salon and all were working on a customer with no one waiting so I assumed I would be next whenever a tech would be available. Well I was wrong!!! Shortly after I had walked in, 2 other ladies walked in. Seemed like 1 of the 2 was a regular. We all waited until a tech was available. The previous customers all finished and left then Kim sat her regular customer, then also sat myself and another lady down. Kim started working on her regular, and a tech started working on the other lady (they both arrived after me- but could have had an appt, so I wasn't bothered at this time). Eventually Kim started to soak my nails. I was soaking my nails for At least 1 hour in a bowl of acetone and warm water. I was checked on twice during that 1 hour, 30 mins a part. I am not new to getting my nails done, so I do know it does not take 1 hour to soak off. During that hour, 5 other customers walk in. Finally Kim takes off the remaining residue, which was barely any left, she did this after she finished her regular's manicure and before she started her pedicure. Now at this point the other nail techs are sitting a few of the ladies that arrived after me and had also finished the full set for the lady that was sat in a chair during the same time I was sat down. I waited until I couldn't wait any longer. I literally felt like because I was a "walk-in" I was completely ignored and pushed to the side for their regulars. I'm fairly new to the area and I could have became a regular if I did not have such a terrible experience. No one assured me that I would be next or how much longer it would take for them to attend to my nails. I decided to tell the tech that kept coming back and forth to put her cash tip in her drawer that was located across from me that I would just like to pay for my soak off and head out. At that point she then starts to apologize for the wait and gives me an explanation that they are short of another tech. i understand the shortage of staff these days and I was not rude to any of the staff while I was in the salon but I was just very annoyed and disappointed at the fact that the staff now wants to acknowledge that I've been waiting a very long time and to give an explanation at the time when I'm getting up to leave. Where was this explanation an hour ago? Why even take walk ins If they were all booked up for the day while them knowing they were short staffed? 2 hours of wasted time and all I got was a soak off. I'm always scared to try new nail techs and new nail shops. My original nail tech for some reason keeps going on vacation out of the country and I hated waiting more than 3 weeks at a time to get a manicure and pedicure. My 16 and 14 year old daughters tried LEE Nails and recommend them to me. She took me to get a manicure today and I must say that I was shocked. Wynn is amazing. She knew how to shape my nails as sharp as I usually get them and she also saved me from a color/glitter combination mistake. I'm definitely coming back to see her in two weeks. Unprofessional , I went there and the service was bad , I did not get my nails done because they are selective about their customers. They have a tendency to make you wait long if they don't want to do your nails . I would not recommend this place . this place is awful. They're so horrible with their "appointments" there's no point in even making one because you'll still wait 1 hour. And I went yesterday at 3pm (they're open until 4pm on Sundays according to their website). I walked in and they said they're closed even though I was there an hour beforehand. Then the next day, I came in at 10:15 because they have a special between 10-12pm and there's a handmade sign saying they're not open until 2pm that day. I purposefully made my schedule available so I could get there for that special and they decided to open late that day. So annoying and unprofessional. If I could give zero stars for my experience on May 21, 2022, I absolutely would. I am an established customer. I went there as a walk-in on this day, because when you call to schedule appointments, they will tell you, "No appointment needed. Just come in". So, I did that and then they proceeded to take literally every single person with "an appointment" before me for over 2 hours that I waited there. They literally took the 1:30pm appointment 15 minutes early when I had been sitting there since 11:15am. This is not an acceptable way to treat any customer in any business. Especially not a customer who spends hundreds of dollars per month at her Nail Salon. I will absolutely NOT be back to this place and have found a great spot to have my nails done in the future moving forward at City Nail and Spa around the corner. As I am new to the area, I am looking for a good nail place. I have been to other Lee Nails in the city and there is no comparison. First of all I do not think they take seriously the whole Covid guidelines. First the place was not clean. They do not use liners for the pedicure tub and I did not see them take out the tools from a sanitized bag. I had to ask her if it was sanitized and she was surprised I even asked her. The girl that was taking care of me had the a cold and I asked her because she kept sniffling. Of course I asked and it was allergies according to them. Either to avoid what I had asked she starting singing and of course talking in their language to the other person next to her. I saw how one of the ladies cleaned the foot bowl and all she did was give it one spray of the disinfectant. They do not even have dividers when people go for pedicures. Also one of the nail technicians had no mask while doing some ladies nails. Not worth going there again. I will say again they do not take the Covid guidelines seriously. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I don't usually come here I usually go to my trusty nail salon Lexi Nails (they are AWESOME) but were all booked up and I needed my nails done that day so I went here. BIGGEST MISTAKE. This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional and in my opinion deserves to be shut down if they can't get it together and run a business professionally. First off I had an appointment and they STILL made me wait 30 MINS to be seen which is ridiculous considering I made an appointment for a reason. They took certain walk ins before taking me. Next, I've come to notice they get VERY personal with their customers which is not always a bad thing, if you WANT to share your personal life but I am not that kind of person, I come to get my nails done AND GO. NOT ONLY THAT, but they then talk about all their customers business using their names with the other customers once they leave including the manager who is extremely rude. When i was finally seen, the girls next to me were talking with the manager about drugs and jumping people (bullying in other words) and the manager was CONDONING this behavior. Telling her if someone pissed her off in the shop to go ahed and throw chairs onto their heads. It was concerning and made me extremely uncomfortable. The woman who did my nails used dirty tools from the last woman and they also did my nails completely wrong and purposefully screwed them up once they realized I was not going to partake in their conversation on jumping/bullying others. They also spoke about me and accused me of being "high" and cheap. I have severe anxiety and they sat there and bullied me on how i was acting/sitting/ getting my nails done. It was the W O R S T nail experience of my life and I've been getting my nails done for YEARS. Please don't make the same mistake I did and go somewhere that is deserving of your money and relaxing. read more
