Making an appointment was as easy as calling the optometry and giving them information on my insurance plan (where they are able to look it up and tell you the benefits). On the day of the appointment, I recommend coming early to fill out the intake form as a new patient and bringing your existing prescribed glasses. Afterwards, I took some quick check-in test before seeing the doctor. Dr. Nguyen did my eye exams and she was wonderful! She was thorough, explained everything in an easy to understand/detailed manner, gave really practical and actionable advice, and answered all the questions I had. The front desk folks, Ben and Raul, were also amazing!! They were super friendly, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. What I most appreciated was that they explained all the benefits of my insurance and shared their recommendations on what frames and lense features to choose given my benefits. In terms of frames, they carry name brands like Gucci, Fendi, Versace, Prada, Tom Ford, etc. Plenty to choose from. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better optometry experience.

What started as a stye (hordeolum) that developed into a chalazion was carefully evaluated and treated with red light / low-level light therapy (LLLT). Dr. Lam took the time to thoroughly explain everything and walk me through the entire process, which made a stressful situation feel manageable. She reassured me that LLLT is safe and one of the least invasive options for kids, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. My daughter was treated with such care and attention. Dr. Lam specializes in dry eye and ocular surface disease through her specialty clinic. She also has strong expertise in myopia management for children, as well as specialty contact lenses like scleral lenses for conditions such as keratoconus.
