One week after purchase there were several issues with the truck that they looked at yet would do nothing about it. I sucked it up and took it to the dealer. Within the next 6 months I had spent over $2,000 in repairs, and in the last 3 another 1,000 not including the used rims that were sold with it that won't even hold air, and rust issues that were bandaided well. The truck was bought one year ago and won't pass a Maine inspection due to front shocks, the front end, catalytic converter, as well as a third brake light that is siliconed in so it is not accessible. I can barely keep the vehicle on the road and they refuse to even speak to me also threatened me with a lawyer. I advise people not to shop here.

When I picked it up the vehicle the light had not been fixed because they did not have the part. I was still charged $200 when the recall repair was free. I called to complain and was told that when the part arrives it would cost me at least $400 for the repair. This is ridiculous and I will not be going there for this repair or any other service ever again. I should have been told that it would cost $200 just to check the cause of the outage and I would have refused to have it done.

Ricky Miles (the business owner) did everything he could to make the stress of our broken-down car easier for us... he kept us in the loop about repairs needed and the codes being generated by our failing engine *and* helped us understand what we needed to do once we drove back to New York. He offered great service for a great price... so I highly recommend him if you need any repairs! Also, if you need to sit and wait around for a while, his shop is a *very* comfortable space. He even has free (good!) coffee and hot chocolate for everyone to enjoy, along with a checker-board, waiting area, and magazines. They cost a little more than some other local places, but it's worth it in peace-of-mind, great service, and the fact that they stand behind their work. My only minor complaint would be that sometimes the repairs seem to take awhile, so make sure to ask if the repair will take longer than a day.

I own a 1998 V70 Volvo wagon, and recently went into Frost's Garage to receive an inspection…read moresticker. Upon the garage inspection they informed me of a few problems resulting in inspection failure, including an exhaust manifold leak, ABS system failure, noise from my rear left tire, and a loose head light. I asked for a quote on the exhaust manifold leak, and was told "At least $700 for the part not including labor". Apparently the shop did not know I was a USCG licensed Marine Engineer. I did not have time to do the work myself, and brought the car to another mechanic. There was no exhaust leak, he fixed the head light and ABS system, and slapped on a new inspection sticker for $100. DO NOT proceed with repairs from this garage unless you have the mechanical aptitude to realize that what they are charging is or is not fair. What a scam.

Wish I could give zero stars. Waste of time and money. After charging me $115 for a simple…read morediagnosis of a failed A/C compressor, they proceeded to tell me that in order for the warranty to be valid on a new compressor, they would also have to replace the condenser and a bunch of other parts which were not broken, all for a total of over $1900. I never heard of such a requirement for a "warranty". I asked them for other choices, such as replacing the compressor only and forget the warranty, or install a second-hand compressor. I also asked if the $115 diagnostic charge would be applied as a credit on the final bill. I don't think that was well received. The attendant said she would have to ask the mechanic and get back to me. She never called me back. I guess they figured I was not going to be a pushover customer, so they decided to run with my $115. Meanwhile I got a dealer quote to replace the compressor with an EOM part and warranty for $1300. A mechanic friend of mine advised that I go with the dealer, since private shops often use overpriced after market parts anyway. I never found an auto repair shop that charges more than a dealer, but this is it. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS.
