If you've found yourself saying "I should probably go to the chiropractor" then you absolutely need…read moreto go to the chiropractor. Trust me - we're all messing our necks up unfortunately. Like most folks, I am still weary about going to the chiropractor so I do some major due diligence and find the providers with a history of consistent 5-star ratings which brought me here! Dr. Rena Adhut is an excellent provider! I'll be headed back for my third visit today, but that first visit brought such relief. Just the spine stretchy thing and the slight manipulations were heaven. I experienced the expected soarness, but slept significantly better that evening. I've already referred this provider to a few work colleagues already too because they too could use some relief from the neck and shoulder tightness, headaches, and back pain/stiffness. I kidd you not, this was long over due and I was legit shrinking bc of my spine, so now I'm back to my full height haha! and even my sunken clavicle is almost back in it's correct place. Have to quickly shot out the front desk staff here as well just as I did for the Pleasanton location.

I am happy to see that excellent service has continued under Dr. Westover at the Alexander Chiropractic. They've helped me after a car accident and also just for maintenance when I feel tight in my neck, shoulders & hips. I am a yoga teacher and am aware of taking care of my body but I have the type of musculature & connective tissue that benefits from chiropractic tune-ups. i've come here once/month or weekly if I have a flare-up. i'm trying to come in more frequently as a preventative measure, when i am out of alignment and in pain it can disrupt my work and daily activities. I've never felt any sales pressure to buy a package or keep coming back, unless it's recommended for my bpdy or they're just letting me know about an option to save money. INSURANCE: i appreciate they take my insurance. TIP: if you're paying out of pocket get a discounted prepay package and ask if they're offering any black friday or new patient specials. i don't know if they still are on groupon but that's where I initially found Dr Babcock. TIP: take advantage of the 9-minute stim treatment, with heat or ice, before or after your adjustment. if i'm really tight i'll do stim beforehand to get a better adjustment. no one asked me to write this. this review is 100% coming from me. 60 years old. Feeling fit and fabulous! In addition to my yoga lifestyle, chiropractic adjustments are part of my self-care. When we feel comfortable in our bodies, we feel happier. When we calm our minds & reduce stress, we feel less tension & tightness in our bodies. Hope this review helps! Amelia Andaleon @spirituallyfityoga spirituallyfityoga.com

Dr. Max (Lippman) is AMAZING and Julie Cervantes is AWESOME. I want to share my stories about these…read moreplaces that I love to visit over and over again. Dr. Max is a lifesaver. Last year I had a fever with a high temperature. It happened at the end of the week. At night something shifted in my hip bone area and I started feeling an annoying pain. It kept growing, and by the end of the next day I couldn't sit, stand, walk, or lie down. The pain was constant. The painkillers didn't work. Stretching didn't work. A warm, relaxing bath with salt didn't work. I was crying because it was unbearable. Somehow I made it through Thursday night, Friday, and the weekend. First thing in the morning my husband called Dr. Max to make an appointment, and thanks God he had a few openings, so I was able to come in. After a careful examination, Dr. Max made some adjustments and the pain was gone. It was like a miracle! I couldn't believe that in such a short time, the pain that had kept me from doing anything had disappeared. This is just one story about Dr. Max's work. I have many, since I've had the chance to see him whenever I needed over the past ten years. Julie is a rare professional I feel comfortable coming to no matter how I feel, even when I am exhausted and can barely speak. She provides thoughtful support and a healing massage for my joint and muscle stiffness. She uses a special machine (PEMF) that identifies which area of the body needs extra attention and shows what condition it is in. The machine sends electrical impulses that are mostly pleasant, but where there is real stiffness, it shows up and helps Julie see how the flow goes. It helped me a lot when I had an intensive period of workload and sat for 12-14 hours in a row. My body was crying. I had problems with my lower back and shoulders. The stiffness was so strong that I had pain at the end of each day, while walking, or while I was in bed turning onto one side. Gradually, through her hard work on my lower back and shoulders, the stiffness eased and the pain has gone. I appreciate that the results keep going long after I leave, lasting weeks and months. Julie helped me restore it and heal some of the areas that did not work properly for quite some time. I wish I had known earlier that I can address my condition and recover. I know that it is also helpful with some sports injuries and rehabilitation after surgeries. My mother-in-law tried it, and it helped her with an old surgery to restore more mobility in her shoulder area. Her arm now has a greater range of movement than before the massage with Julie and her machine. I would like to give a special thank you to Jayson and Julia for their excellent work with the clients at the front desk.

My daughter had been struggling for months with a growth plate stress injury in her wrist. Despite following her orthopedist's recommendation to rest it for a couple of months, she still couldn't use her wrist without pain, discomfort, and significant stiffness. While acupuncture successfully relieved her pain, her wrist and forearm remained extremely tight, limiting her movement and keeping her from returning to the activities she loves. Wanting to explore additional options, I brought her to Julie for PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy. I was hopeful, but I never expected such dramatic results. Within just two days of her first treatment, my daughter noticed a significant release in the muscles of her forearm. After only two treatments, she was using her arm freely again and was excited to return to her normal activities. Julie, thank you for introducing us to this remarkable therapeutic modality. It truly felt miraculous to see the spark return to my daughter's eyes after months of frustration. You didn't just help restore her wrist mobility and function, you gave her back her confidence in her physical abilities. I only wish I had brought her in sooner and that I had known about PEMF therapy when I was recovering from my own back injury a few years ago. I am incredibly grateful for your expertise, compassion, and willingness to think beyond conventional treatments. Thank you, Julie! *********************************************************** I've been a patient of Dr. Max for several years, and he's treated me for various conditions. Most recently, he provided exceptional care for a herniated disc. Dr. Max is professional, easy and good to talk with, and genuinely cares about his patients. He understands that every patient is different and is open to adjusting his approach to be more gentle if that's what you need. His exceptional ability to diagnose the problem and make the proper adjustments to fix it is nothing short of miraculous. A key part of his practice is the inclusion of top-notch massage therapists like Valeria. She's been indispensable in my herniated disc recovery, helping me return to an active lifestyle. I can't say enough about her therapeutic hands. Valeria is incredibly skilled, in tune with every muscle, and has a lovely energy that makes each session positive. I started seeing Bridget in October, and the improvement in my body has been nothing short of amazing. I was struggling to run or sprint and was preparing for a Hyrox fitness competition just two months away. After booking consistent sessions with Bridget, including multiple visits per week (sometimes even twice a day), my body felt more connected, and I was quickly getting back to peak performance. When I injured my lower back from a deadlift just two weeks before the race, her treatments were key in helping me recover in time. I also really appreciate her flexibility with scheduling. Bridget is incredibly responsive, always quick to reply to texts, and I love that she offers appointments on Sundays, which makes things so much more convenient. She is also the voice of reason for me when it came to resting and not working out and an amazing encourager especially as I was juggling a newborn baby. On top of that, I had Bridget work with my 2-month-old baby for almost a month. She helped realign his atlas and eased tight areas with gentle, non-invasive techniques (no cracking involved). I could immediately see subtle improvements--his sleep got better, and he cried less. It's clear she has a great deal of care and expertise when working with little ones. Plus, the waiting area is kid-friendly with toys to keep children entertained, which is a great bonus for busy parents. Overall, I can't recommend Bridget enough.
