I have been coming to Turning Pint Chiropractic for about 2 years. I started coming because I have degenerative bones in my cervical area. I have 3 titanium plates and 6 screws between C4-C6. I am trying to avoid a 4th surgery and so far Dr. Arnold has helped tremendously with that. His adjustments has created significant relief. Dr. Arnold has an amazing personality and speaks with knowledge. He asks all the questions during the consultation to really get to the bottom of your aches, pains, and discomforts that maybe you didn't even consider a problem. I found out things about myself that I wasn't aware of just in that first appointment. I suffered from hip pain (having 4 kids and an accident) that has made it hard to stand or sit too long. I've been going to Dr. Arnold for almost 3 years now which blows my mind! I didn't realize it's been that long, but there's a reason I've been coming here since 2021. I have a slight curve in my spine and have had issues with back pain off and on since 2016 or so. Dr. Arnold's office is the sixth chiropractic office I've gone to since 2017 and I plan to stay with him for as long as he's doing what he's doing! He is undoubtedly the best chiropractor I've been to by a landslide. For me, Dr. Arnold's office checks all the boxes. I've been to offices where you'd make an appointment and never knew who you were seeing til you arrived. I've been to offices where they get you in and out in 5 minutes and treatment doesn't seem personalized at all. I've been to places that try to push "supplements" on you to purchase to "help with your pain". And I never saw consistent results with anyone like I have with Dr. Arnold. Dr. Arnold is so friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and radiates positivity. He really knows a lot about the body and how everything's connected, beyond any other chiropractor I've met seems to know. He seems to be passionate about what he does and you can tell he really cares about his patients. He also has the best front desk reps, in Verena (and Sammy his pup who you wouldn't know was even there unless you are a dog person and intentionally call for her). I was initially going to Dr. Arnold with constant back pain, but after regular sessions and trying to follow some of the exercises and guidance he provides, I've been doing monthly appointments for some time now and I can honestly say I haven't consistently felt this good in years. Beyond that, Dr. Arnold has gone above and beyond, for example, I told him about some back issues my dad who lives in a different state has and how he plateaued in his improvement with PT alone. Dr. Arnold did some research and sent me some providers he thought might be good for my dad to at least consult with, to see if they can provide any relief beyond what he's found so far. Every time I visit Dr. Arnold, I get an adjustment(s) and also an anatomy lesson! As others have mentioned, he is so great about explaining what I'm feeling and why, as well as how to work on improvements for strength and mobility in problem areas. I've had chiropractors in the past where it felt like come in, crack a few joints, pay the insurance copay, and go on your way. Dr. Arnold couldn't be more different. He takes the time to ask questions and really understand, and his primary goal is my long term health, not scheduling my next appointment so he can swipe my credit card again. Needed to leave an honest review since my experience has bothered me for so long. The good: Dr. Arnold is extremely nice, his secretary is friendly and the office space is clean and contemporary. As a new patient, his consultation was thoughtful, thorough and the health/physical history questionnaire was in-depth. I felt like he was truly taking into consideration all aspects of my life that could effect me physically. The bad: Once I began weekly appointments, 70% of the time Dr. Arnold was unsuccessful at getting my body to crack when performing an adjustment. I'd often be left with an awkward feeling in my neck or back, like I was pulled really hard in a weird direction. I found no relief from my sessions whatsoever. But I kept returning, knowing physical improvements take time. But truly, I was more successful at "adjusting" myself at home after watching some chiropractic Instagram videos. BUT, what I truly wanted to reveal -- After reviewing my statements, I was billed $60 for the first few sessions, then $80 for a few sessions after that, and then $100 for the most recent sessions. The gradual price increase puzzled me and was never mentioned. After an appointment I asked him why it went from $60 to $100, he said it was because of the "extra muscle work" he had done. This "extra muscle work" would include 10 mins of pushing on my sore pecs and moving my arms around in circles, which did nothing. Stumbling over his words, he also said prices were raised because he "exercised" me. What? We never did any exercises. Yes he gave me pointers on how to stretch at home, but I had already known those stretches from past PT's. He said "Yes but that was an extra add on." I told him I truly could not recall any enhancements to my sessions, but he insisted this was the reason. He also said not to worry about cost, since my insurance was paying for it, not me personally. I told him I had not yet met my deductible so all of these sessions I was paying for out of pocket. He had nothing to say to that. We ended the conversation, I walked out and never went back again. Never got a call about my other scheduled appointments. I guess he knew he was caught and that I wasn't coming back. Check your statements folks and ask questions! read more
