The practice has spinal decompression table and I have to say their equipment works as I have tried other places and it didn't make a difference. They also have shock wave, laser etc. and Dr. Dan is great at manual adjustments. With my work timing, they have always offered the flexibility that I super appreciate. This is worth giving a shot if you are in lot of discomfort!

Super thorough eval also! Chiropractic is very individualized for what the patient needs and I felt stronger physically doing applied kinesiology vs traditional chiro with grade V manipulations. I did 27 sessions of HBOT and a number of chiro appointments at Pinnacle Wellness and highly recommend it for anyone who is dealing with chronic inflammation, fatigue, or autoimmune illness (I have all three and felt a massive difference while I was doing treatments). Rhonda and Aura are super nice and are very accommodating of my sensitive ears while putting me into HBOT and depressurizing me. I tracked my symptoms for 45 days during my treatments and overall I saw a massive change in overall pain, joint stiffness, decrease in shortness of breath, and neuro symptoms. For reference I have lupus, ME/CFS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, and hEDS so I'm willing to try anything to feel better and I felt like I was in good hands at Pinnacle Wellness. If anyone else has endo, the only thing I would do differently is to wait until after excision surgery to do HBOT. It helped tremendously when I was on the protocol but most of my symptoms returned after I ended because the root cause of my inflammation hasn't been dealt with yet.

The hyperbaric chamber is a game changer. I was suffering from a concussion I didn't even know I…read morehad. I was suffering visually, mentally, and physically. I had constant headaches, I couldn't focus, and my balance was off. Everything was going wrong and out of place. I didn't know why I was so off, but I knew I needed to get back to my middle self, which was zen and balanced. With the hyperbaric chamber, my headaches became less. I went from having a headache every day to having a minor one in the morning that didn't last long. At the end of the week, there were no more headaches. My brain was finally healing. I went from not being able to multitask or focus to being able to manage everything in a timely manner. I could appreciate the present and being active without being tired. I knew when my body just needed to rest, but not sleep. I was able to get everything I needed to get done without being stressed. I could see things more clearly. Since my headaches were gone and my focus/multitasking were back, I felt lighter on my feet. When I am imbalanced, I put a lot of weight on my heels. Now that I am getting back to my center, all the ballpoints of my feet are on the ground. I have no visual strain on my eye. I would have strain on my eye when moving my eye around or looking forward too long. Now there is no strain in my right eye. My peripheral eyesight is working fantastically. I can see my surroundings with no strain. I can focus on seeing the world as it is, rather than being in the zone while my mind is elsewhere. Physically, my body is more relaxed on a daily basis. I still have some stress, but my body isn't feeling it. There is no compensating for my stress levels. My muscles are not tight--they are relaxed and working properly. I am dealing with the stress without any anxiety. My body is a lot calmer than it used to be. I am really glad I did the hyperbaric chamber. I am excited to see what has changed at the end of my session. I look forward to the progress it has been making on my body--mentally, visually, and physically.

First of all let me say that I used to be extremely afraid to have any chiropractic work done. I…read morehad made up my mind that would never see a chiropractor. Luckily that fear is gone now. I was having severe tension in my neck and shoulders that eventually spread to my jaw, resulting in DAILY headaches and pain. The right side of my face and jaw became numb from the nerves being pinched. I walked around like this for nearly two years, taking pain medication to try to relieve it. Nothing, not massages, not ibuprofen, not ice, NOTHING worked. I was completely miserable. My husband started seeing Simon for back pain, and when he started to get better, I thought maybe there's someway Simon could help me that didn't involve adjustments. I went for my initial consult and Simon assured me that it wasn't normal for me to be living like that and that he could help me. He took my fear and anxiety into consideration and worked at a pace I was comfortable with. He started with active release therapy (which is amazing) , and then once I was comfortable, an adjustment. I haven't looked back since, and now I go DAYS without any headaches or jaw pain. I really feel like I have my life back. And I love getting my neck adjusted every week (who would have thought ) Thank you Simon!

A quick note - do know that the owner of this business is Dr. Lee…read more When I first came across this Yelp page I was confused as to who is the "primary" owner of Active Spine & Rehab Center as Dr. Lue is frequently mentioned and his website is linked, but the real owner is Dr. Lee who has been in practice over 20 years. I have been seeing Dr. Lee for just about two months, I am very happy with his: 1) Honesty - he made it clear he is not just trying to take my money like many other chiropractors. He ensures this by not requiring many visits per week (I do once every 1-2 weeks) and recommending exercises outside of the visits that he stresses are the most important for long term recovery 2) Great practictioner. Dr. Lee is a great practictioner of ART which is very different from other chiropractic disciplines in that he will spend a considerable amount of time with you. This isn't a typical 2 minute "crack" session - he will spend about 15 minutes stretching out all the different parts of your affected region. I do recommend this practice, and I recommend asking for Dr. Lee

So I submitted an appointment request via their website, provided my insurance info in the comments box, and asked that they check if they were in-network. I get a call within a day or two from the nicest lady (I'm terrible with names so I forgot her name) who verified they were in-network with my plan and scheduled my appointment got the following week. Here's the wonky doodle part that is the mess called having United healthcare. From the UHC app, you're given the option to have a virtual insurance card added to the Apple wallet on your phone. Well what occurred is (and still occurring, so watch out for this if you have UHC as your insurer) the member ID and group number on that virtual card does not match your actual member ID and group number! So the original info I submitted with my appointment request was completely wrong and why it originally looked like these doctors were in-network with my plan. I really wish my company offered another insurer. What's worse is when your insurer sucks mixed with incompetent/inexperienced practice staff because things can fall through the cracks and the patient could end up with a giant bill because of those two factors. I've worked in healthcare and practice operations for over a decade now and I can confidently say the staff here is competent. In doing their due diligence and verifying my coverage and eligibility, they too realized the original insurance info I submitted was incorrect and upon checking on my actual benefits - it turns out they were out-of-network and the lady immediately called me with that update. Had they not completed the absolutely imperative step in any practice of verifying coverage and eligibility well before a patient's appointment, I could've ended up with a bill I didn't expect. And in the ever rising cost of living, this competence and due diligence is appreciated now more than ever. It was a bummer I couldn't be treated here but luckily the provider at the San Ramon location is in-network with my insurance.

Like most folks, I am still weary about going to the chiropractor so I do some major due diligence and find the providers with a history of consistent 5-star ratings which brought me here! Dr. Rena Adhut is an excellent provider! I'll be headed back for my third visit today, but that first visit brought such relief. Just the spine stretchy thing and the slight manipulations were heaven. I experienced the expected soarness, but slept significantly better that evening. I've already referred this provider to a few work colleagues already too because they too could use some relief from the neck and shoulder tightness, headaches, and back pain/stiffness. I kidd you not, this was long over due and I was legit shrinking bc of my spine, so now I'm back to my full height haha! and even my sunken clavicle is almost back in it's correct place. Have to quickly shot out the front desk staff here as well just as I did for the Pleasanton location.

I am a yoga teacher and am aware of taking care of my body but I have the type of musculature & connective tissue that benefits from chiropractic tune-ups. i've come here once/month or weekly if I have a flare-up. i'm trying to come in more frequently as a preventative measure, when i am out of alignment and in pain it can disrupt my work and daily activities.
