I was a member here for a couple months, but unfortunately, the pain would come back and I'd have to go back in each week and improvement never stayed. When I did not go for about three months with a busy work schedule and finding a new chiropractor. When canceling, the company requires you yo walk into the studio and fill out a paper with no refund or discussion. On top of this, when going in to cancel my membership, the owner met me with rude customer service and attitude. Dr. Acoba did not make this a pleasant experience for me and unfortunately, I used to highly recommend this place to my clients and after my experience at the end it felt like a transactional relationship without the warmth and care all clients and customers deserve. I do not recommend and hope that they improve their business processes. read more

Dr. Kasia was extremely rude to us when we came in for a visit. She was completely disrespectful and it's appalling she is allowed to practice given her attitude. My mom asked when she would be treated (probably a few too many times, admittedly), and Dr. Kasia said "don't tell me what to do" and threw out the new patient form and asked her to get out. I can understand that my mom can be difficult, given her condition and age, but there is no excuse for this kind of treatment. I can see from the reviews that Dr. Kasia is well-regarded for her treatment. I don't think this can make up for this kind of abhorrent patient care. read more

So glad Pleasanton finally gets a Joint location! I've seen both Dr. Joe and Dr. Monique and both are amazing. I've previously been a patient at other chiropractic offices and visited other Joint locations in the area before the Pleasanton branch opened. Of the 3, I can easily recommend The Joint Pleasanton has the best in terms of care provided. While The Joint is a chain and you can describe it as "the fast food of chiropractors", I felt other locations gave everyone the same adjustments vs honing in on what's ailing them. I recently tweaked my lower back and both Dr. Joe and Monique had this be a point of emphasis during my visits. They also recommended stretches I could do at home to alleviate the pain. I highly recommend the monthly plan ($79 / month for up to 4 visits) as regular maintenance. As a side note, they're closed 2-3 pm Mon - Fri for lunch and 2 - 2:30 pm on Saturdays. read more

The doctors are mediocre. And whatever you do do NOT let them sign you up for a membership. They make it impossible to cancel, giving you the run around. Have to go in person to cancel, then the computers are down, they can't find the papers you fill out so they want you to come back again. Basically anything to avoid actually canceling your membership. They are unorganized and rude. Even the so called managers are disasters to deal with. Heather claims to be the area manager and she was the worst I've dealt with yet. Save your time and back and find a real doctor. read more

Unfortunately, the Joint Pleasanton has gone down hill like off the hill completely. They can't hire any Drs, if they do they can't keep them, they are only open Tuesday-Friday (Maybe not even), they will surprise you and leave a note of the door saying no Dr. today. I still have a membership because I am going to the Livermore one for now on. They have the ability to text us when they want money but when they don't have a Dr. they just leave a note on the door so all of us drive down there and find out no one is there. Unreliable business won't bring customers y'all. Business 101. This place won't last if it continues down this path. Hopefully it changes! read more

I am a member, usually service is great- by that I mean the chiropractors are great...other than stopping by and realizing they are closed at weird hours for lunch. ( 2pm next time - I will check yelp or website) I go in today at 4:35pm and they tell me they can't take me because there are 2 people ahead of me. RIDICULOUS! The receptionist tells me Hayward is open tomorrow if I need to be adjusted. Literally when I come it takes 5 minutes usually ...very very unprofessional! I think a FYI notice when you sign that if too busy half hour before closing, you might not be seen to give good service. read more

I would give this place a zero if I could. I went in to cancel my membership which was very simple. All I needed to do was sign a paper. The receptionist was not there but Dr. Kasia was at the front desk. As soon as I told her what I was there for she became very frustrated and was being extremely dramatic and rude. She would not let me finish and kept rudely cutting me off. I was trying to explain to her that the location I originally go to is now too far from me and when I called them they said they will cancel my plan but I have to go in person to sign the papers. I was told by my first joint location that I can go to ANY joint chiropractic to sign the paper. The way this doctor spoke to me made me feel very confused and upset. I kept my cool and did not want to argue with her. She told me to call the other office. I called right there in front of her and the receptionist that answered the phone told me that I should be able to just ask to sign the paper and leave. Dr. Kasia got frustrated and just pushed the paper towards me and said " I don't care just sign it". As I was signing the paper she told me instead of canceling my membership I should get one at a cheaper price. I told her money way not the reason behind why I am canceling and it's due to personal reasons. And she said " I don't care" like are you serious? You're a doctor? How unprofessional! If you "don't care" why did you offer me to get a cheaper plan? She also proceeded to tell me that she doesn't want to argue with me. I was being very calm and understanding so I don't know what she made that comment for. And to make matters worse she told me shes not trying to waste my time and how shes "salary". I was so shocked I didn't even want to respond to that comment. I don't care how much money you make! If you cannot treat your patients with respect your money means nothing. Clearly money cant buy you a personality or professionalism. Her body language was so dramatic and unprofessional. I only canceled my plan due to personal reasons and was planning on coming back. However, after the way I was treated today I no longer want to come back and give my money to her. I was a regular patient at the joint chiropractic at the livermore location and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the doctors and receptionists there. I was in pleasanton for work today and decided to go in and sign the papers before driving all the way back home to san francisco. She also used the word "shit" while talking to me. I am a grown adult who is in the customer service industry. I understand people have frustrating moments with their patients and or customers. However, it all comes down to professionalism! If a so called "DR" cannot de escalate the situation then she should not be at the front desk! If any of the patients reading this review is looking to get the best treatment I highly recommend the Livermore location! The staff are extremely nice and professional. They make you feel comfortable. I hope that management at the pleasanton location can start making some changes. I was a little sad when Dr. Monique left this location because she was great and knew exactly how to fix my back/ neck pain. I generally go in once a week to get adjusted. I've seen different doctors at this location who have been subbing in. Some have rushed more than others, but today I met Dr. Simon and all I can say is WOW!!! He is amazing!!!
