This was the worst Ledo's I've ever eaten at. The customer service was pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and honey old bay wings, now I know that most Ledo's usually open your box and show you your pizza before you leave, but for some reason that didn't happen this visit. Man, oh man do I wish I'd had them open that box before I left, they caught me slipping this night. The wings were good; however my pizza was missing cheese in some spots, and my dough was under cooked. I was so disgusted. How could this have happened, someone wasn't following directions. When I called in over the phone to make my order, I was greeted by a fairly brusque and loud reply. I didn't think too much of it. It felt like maybe the woman taking my order over the phone was super busy and was just a bit stressed that day. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt unless they actually say something rude and pointed directed at me (which she did not). So I get to the Ledo's and the woman at the front counter asks me for my name and commented that she had spoke with me over the phone. She was like... one of the nicest people ever. So nice and sweet. She just didn't come across that way over the phone. She kindly told me my order would be ready in a few minutes. I went back to the bathroom and realized you might need a key to get in. I come to the front counter and she readily gives me the key and is super nice about it. When she was packing up my food, she just had this wonderful mom-like caring vibe to her. Just sweet and wonderful in every way. The pizza was delicious ( as ledos is). But because Ledos is a franchise it can definitely vary from Ledos to Ledos. This Ledos makes it like it should. I decided to get the bavarian pretzel which must be like 10 or 11 inches across - it's HUGE. And it was nice and soft and I can tell that they brushed butter on it ( which didn't hurt... anything but my arteries). I accidentally ordered a house salad when I meant to order the Italian salad, but the house salad was good and fresh nonetheless. Was in town visiting. Staff was lazy. Most drinks did not have carbonated water. Ordered pizza and waited in a booth for 39 minutes to find out the food was ready and sat at counter for 20 minutes because the wait staff was too lazy to bring it to the booth I was sitting in. Bathroom take bring a key from manager. A places that denies someone using the restroom because they may not buy your produce is inhumane. I just picked up my order and the young man (brown skinned w/locs) working dropped my pizza box on the counter and threw my parm packets in the bag very rudely. Try the one in Woodmore instead. I had amazing customer service. Called this location one Saturday and asked for them to make a heart-shaped pizza for a special occasion. I just ordered the chicken alfredo with garlic bread and the panko crusted shrimp with spicy tarter sauce, and they were both excellent!! The tarter sauce was not too spicy either because I don't do spicy!! Jakaila was the young lady that helped me and she was very sweet, and she even came out and delivered my extra alfredo sauce to me!! I wasn't going to leave another bad review. However, this was earned! The last 3 or 4 times I ordered food online for pickup at a specific time, my order was prepared late. Today was no exception. I ordered 2 salads, the same 2 salads I always do. Pickup time 7.20pm! But I didn't get my order until 7.50pm. When the order came it was incorrect and incomplete. Wrong salad. (The man made the Italian salad because I wanted Italian dressing?) And missing dressing! I'm completely done now with this Ledos location. read more

On this particular evening my order was screwed up yet again. Unfortunately there are limited pizza options locally and while the pizza is acceptable I have yet to have an occasion where my order was right. Tonight I witnessed at least three other instances of orders that were wrong and had to be redone. While I waited for resolution on my order - my food sat getting cold until the manager was summoned again - only to tell me there was nothing he could do as I had placed my order online and any refund would have to come from them. First off let me say I'm a Ledo's fan. I had a vendor offer to bring lunch today so I suggested Ledo's. Wow they did not disappoint. We had four large pizzas. The stars of the show were the meat lovers and the buffalo chicken. No skimping on toppings here. SOO good! Highly recommend. If the crust had been a bit more crackery it would have been five stars. I ordered the chorizo sub and chorizo and cheese fries. I got a sub roll with spaghetti sauce and cheese. There were a few crumbs of some kind of meat that tasted nothing like chorizo. It was the same thing with the fries....spaghetti sauce, cheese and mystery meat crumbles. It was, by far, the worst mistake I've ever made ordering from Ledo's. The customer service has definitely gotten a lot better at this location. Still a little slow but I think that's all Ledos pizza. Atleast now they let you know it will be done between 30-45 minutes instead of 15 minutes like they use to. They could enforce social distancing a little more not saying people were right on top of each other but people in line we're definitely not 6 feet apart. I give this place a zero rating. Let me be clear, I am an advocate and supporter of black owned businesses. But for this location, please boycott it like a plague. I ordered a medium cheese pizza from this location (after bypassing two Ledos locations). This was the WORST experience I have ever had with any Ledo's location. I usually go to the Ledos in PG County, Columbia or Hanover. The lady at the front was very kind and helpful. She was the only positive thing about this place. James, the man making the pizzas didn't make my pizza after I called in 40 minutes prior and was given a 20 minutes waiting time. Rude. As. Hell. (If you look at the other reviews for this place, notice the only positive one is given by 'James'. Too much of a coincidence for me ‍). Another customer came in with a similar name and she took both of our pizzas. He wouldn't make another one although my six year old and I sat here, paid and waited for another 30 minutes. He told the lady at the front that he wasn't giving me a refund because I already had my pizza....in HELLO James....I just walked in and paid for my food. When did you see me eat or take any pizzas?! We need to get you some eye glasses. Laimen, the owner came in and acted as if he was sympathetic and offered my daughter a cup for a drink when I asked for a refund. He told me to stay and wait for the pizza because it was in the oven. At first I was just going to leave simply out of principle. The customer service was the absolute worst. But I listened to him and stayed but asked for my money back. He was highly upset because he was as definitely more concerned about my little $11 than making sure he and his staff provided exceptional customer service. He refunded my money with the biggest attitude and didn't say anything after he gave me the receipt. It is unfortunate because this owner had the opportunity to do fix this situation and he did not. He acted carelessly and unprofessionally. I stayed and waited for the pizza....and guess what....James did something with it....30 minutes later, no pizza. The kind lady at the front went back and lit a fire under his behind and he made it. You can bet I said a super prayer over that pizza; like laid prostrate over it before we ate it! I stayed only because I didn't want to ruin my daughter's movie night. We need to do better. We have to hold each other accountable for our actions as a community. Finally a ledos near my mothers house. Even if it is a chain location, it's still the best pizza around. Don't care what the haters think.

I started out with a 4 star but changed to a 3 because they had to make my pizza three times to get it correct. I ordered two pizzas, one cheese -half baked, no cut. The other sausage and pepperoni. The cheese pizza was not made correctly so I asked them to remake it, the girl didn't understand why it was wrong so I explained I wanted the pizza baked for Half the time it normally is baked for and don't cut the pizza. She said ok we will remake it. How long will that take? I asked. 15 minutes. So I come back in from waiting in the car and ask about the pizza, she says it's not quite done. I sit down for 5 more minutes, finally I get up and ask, can you see if it's ready? She goes back and the cook takes the pizza in the box off the top of the oven and opens it up and she says, you cut it! You're not supposed to cut it! Comes back and says they are having to make it again, I yelled at them for you. I asked how long they actually cook it normally and she said 8 minutes. So.... The pizza is really good and worth getting even with the headache if you want some kind so special. Also the staff is very nice, just don't pay attention to detail. read more

I went to this Ledo's Cheverly location today and the service was extremely bad and the wait time was long. First, I ordered at 12:15pm and it wasn't busy. I didn't receive my food until 1:15pm - 1 hour later I was able to pick up my order. The lady was very rude and the man who I believe might be the manager didn't have his mask on his face (mask was hanging off his face under his chin) when I was making my payment. Once I got home, I noticed that boneless was overcooked. Also, I orderd the Ledo's Deluxe which was good. I don't expect to go back to this location again. read more

Ledo's is great. I think it's generally the best low end pizza chain in DMV. Always top quality and tasty food. However, this location is Cheverly is often a hot mess, especially when busy. Just remember to check all of your orders. Usually Ledo's is very good at doing that but seems optional at this location pending employee and I get burned often. (In Ledo, I trust...too much) It might be worth going an a couple miles more one way or the other way to get same food but with a little more courtesy. I get it, I am probably expecting too much but I have been to too many Ledo's to know that this chain does much better elsewhere. read more

Do not go to this Ledo's location. The customer service here is by far the WORST. I placed an online order and when I arrived, I realized that it wasn't as I intended to order. On top of that the Pizza was burnt and not to my liking. So I tell the first associate that I don't like the way the pizza turned out, she hands the Pizza to another associate to look at it. So the first associate calls the manager and as I was explaining to him the issues I have with the Pizza, the first associate yells out with attitude "the Pizza doesn't look burnt to me, I don't see what the issue is"! As if it's a figment of my imagination and the manager didn't say anything to her about being rude or interrupting me as I was explaining to HIM the issue. At that point, I requested a refund because I wasn't going to patronize a place that doesn't understand that they are dealing with customers and not one of their friends. It's their demeanor, tone and the way they conduct business...it's just trash. They don't make you feel welcome when you come in and they have attitudes as if you are bothering them when you are supporting them. My coworker and I ordered lunch over the phone with Mrs. Lisa. Once I arrived at the location to pick up my order, I noticed Lisa not behind the counter but in the common area watching television where patrons typically sit. I recognized her from previous dealings, and greeted her by saying " hey ma'am how are you today?"... there was no response from Lisa. So I made certain to say it again, as I was under the impression that she just simply did not hear me. After the 4th time of me making an attempt to greet her, she rolled her eyes at us and said something in a rude tone along the lines of "ok.. I heard you". My coworker and I were thrown off guard by this rude behavior and just walked to the counter in the hopes of paying for our lunch and being on our way. Mind you Lisa still hasn't gotten up from the booth where she was sitting in while watching television. My coworker and I are now at the register/counter area ready to pay, when another employee who was working in the kitchen area who i suppose prepared the meal makes an attempt to gain Lisa's attention by politely calling her by name while informing her that we are ready to pay. It even takes him about 4 attempts to get a response from Lisa. She responds to him by saying " what!!! I heard you, I'll be there in a minute". At this point My coworker and I decided that we were not going to spend our hard earned dollars in an establishment where the Manager/Supervisor/Owner/ Cashier or whatever Lisa's title is treats customers and coworkers/employees in that manner. The guy from the back apologized for this incident. By then it was too late!! I will never return to this establishment nor would I recommend anyone else to. As much as I love Ledo's this location is very hit or miss. My biggest complaint is being put on hold every time you call no matter what time of day. One day while on hold I decided to just log on their website and order the pizza. I did all of that and received a confirmation and was still on hold on the phone. During pickup there was a very helpful young lady at the counter who showed me my pizza before I paid and we both saw it was burnt, like crisp, not edible. They made a new one however the manager ALAGIE(spelling may be off) was TERRIBLE.
