I gave feedback twice to the therapist during the appt asking for deeper work but it was not on par with other massages I've received. (I explained to her that I was a licensed physical therapist and former professional dancer and was used to/needed deep tissue work.) The hair blowout with Pam was excellent. I would recommend her highly. Front Desk was lacking in communication, accuracy and customer service skills. The massage therapist said she was told a different time from what was confirmed to me. (I was confirmed for a 2:15 start time and massage didn't begin till 2:40. (my blowout appt was booked for 3:15) I was then given a 45 min. hands on massage but was charged the full hour at deep tissue rates. (their website states this: Deep Tissue Massage $85 / 60 minutes Yes-according to the clock in the massage room, I was worked on-hands on- from 2:40pm-3:25pm which in anyone's books is 45 minutes. The therapist had the audacity to stand there when I was paying and said she gave 50 minutes "on the table" which was bogus. And since the website stated 60min massage not 50 min. that was also deceptive. I had neither the time nor interest in arguing. Given that the front desk was aware that the appt started late and ended early (as I asked several times if the therapist was ready for my appt) they should have issued a discount which I requested, but instead they stood firm on pricing. I will never go back there (and I visit that area often) and have advised my local Jersey friends to stay away far from this establishment.

Rather than throw a menu of a million services to choose from, she performs a service best for your skin. She spent a lot of time talking to me about my skin and how to care for it, including what I should be eating. Elaine's skin is beautiful so she knows what she is talking about!

Elaine is absolutely lovely, as are her facials! Although I live out of state, I wanted to gift my…read moremom one of Elaine's facials for her upcoming birthday. I reached out to her via phone, and though I couldn't reach her on the first try, she was incredibly proactive about getting back to me. She didn't have an e-certificate option available, but due to her unbelievable flexibility, creativity, and customer service, she managed to drop off a paper certificate in the mail that my mom found in her mailbox on her birthday. Fast forward 2 months. My mom wanted to use her certificate because she found out rather unexpectedly that she'd have to move out of the Tri-state area. I asked Elaine for her availability and she said that she typically books out three weeks in advance. However, she put my mom on the cancellation list and after a few cancellations, my mom was fortunate enough to make it into Elaine's Skin Studio three days before her move. Throughout all of these interactions, Elaine never showed an ounce of frustration or annoyance. She is truly a gracious individual who goes above and beyond for her clients, even her new clients! I called my mom after her facial, and she told me that Elaine was very friendly and knowledgeable. She remarked that the studio was pristine, cozy, and intimate, and that she immediately felt relaxed upon walking into the studio. She described the entire experience as peaceful and calming, and I'm so grateful for that since my mom had been in a frenzy trying to pack an entire house together in relatively short notice. Elaine also gave her some great suggestions to enhance her current skin care routine. Though I'm bummed that neither my mom nor I live close enough to drive to Elaine's Skin Studio regularly, I really do hope to go there one day to meet Elaine and pamper myself with one of her amazing facials!

We arrived a little early for our appointment and the owner wasn't very welcoming we knew we were early she said we had to wait because they were serving other customers which is understandable but we could pick out our colors or soak in the chair or wait. At 11:50 they took us back to the pedicure chairs. My pedicure started with a guy then switched to a woman. I wasn't asked about my shape only what kind of pedicure. In my opinion, there the pedicure pricing and options were confusing (I posted a photo but received a private message from the manager or owner asking for the picture to be removed). I settled on a gel pedicure for $50 (prices range from $32 to 55+) there was no description for the gel pedicure it just said it was $55, when it was over I had a standard pedicure with gel polish and I skipped the hot stones. I had to ask a few time for my toenails to be filed and shaped evenly and I believe that's because of the technician change part of the way way through my service (even though I had an appointment). Next we moved to my nails I wanted a regular manicure and to have the gel removed (which I shared when I arrived early and again when I was seated in the pedicure chair). Instead of soaking the hard gel off (which is what I'm use too) they chose to file the hard gel off. Not wrong but a much longer process and after leaving and closely inspecting they didn't get all of the gel off. I haven't had a regular manicure in about 6 months but my nails were not soaked in any water at all, they were trimmed, filed, a scrub was applied and painted. Overall, I don't think the service I received was soothing or relaxing ... 4 service providers for a manicure and pedicure even though we had an appointment and were there for about two hours. NOTE: I have removed my photos at the request of the business owner who sent me a private message after I posted my review.
