Dropped off my car about six weeks ago with an oil leak, asked them if they could fix it. $3,000.00 later they said, "all better!" Got the car home and after a couple weeks of driving it around, sure enough, another big oil slick on my garage floor. Take the car back in to have them take another look, and was greeted with all kinds of negativity, obviously trying to make it known that they weren't going to warranty their work, they did take the car and three days later I got a call that said they couldn't find anything wrong. Okay fine, I'll drive the car with purple die to see where the leak is coming from. The ars hole at the front desk who only uses a paragraph when a sentence will do continued pontificating at me for ten minutes trying to explain that he couldn't help me and couldn't remember ever working on my car. I finally talked to another gentleman who explained there was no leak in the car and to drive it around and bring it back at a later date. Yeah, I've never been treated with less respect at any establishment than this ever before. Obviously they have plenty of business and don't need any more. Take a look at the picture of my car, this is how they returned it to me, covered in bird sh1t. Don't worry guys, I promise, I'll never ask you to work on one of my vehicles ever again! Nor will any of my 25 employees or my very large family members, and we'll be sure to let everyone e we know that you have plenty of business and don't need ours.

He took care of my car and got us back on the road quickly. He even cleaned the air filter while also checking the code and filling up my car with oil. Thank you so much for the great service today and for teaching me how to check my own oil level. I won't forget that! We arrived at our destination and the oil level is good so far! :)

They told us we needed to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs and that would solve the problem. After charging almost $900 the code came back in less than a month. We took our car back in and they told us they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and to come pick it up. We asked for a list of tests they ran and the results. We got a small list but no results. A simple search from chat gpt told us what the problem could be and easy tests that could be run to confirm it. Two other mechanics confirmed that they could have run a simple test to confirm the head gasket was bad as well. Now we get to pay another mechanic to diagnose it and replace the head gasket after already wasting $900 with carsmart.

However, after leaving a review, the shop reached out to me, apologized, and asked me to bring the car back in. This time they took the time to actually inspect things and found that fuel had gotten into the charcoal canister, likely causing the EVAP codes. They reset the codes and recommended starting with a new gas cap before moving into deeper diagnostics, which I appreciated instead of jumping straight into expensive repairs. While the first interaction wasn't great, I do appreciate that they made an effort to make it right.
