He failed to verify the transmission fluid was full after repairing the transmission, I doubt he even repaired the transmission correctly. I made it less than 3 miles from his shop before the transmission went out completely. William does poor quality work and refuses to take responsibility for his mistakes. Stay away from this mechanic and any shop he works at.

After 3 months from when it was supposed to be done he told us we could pick it up. We drove 50 miles to his shop. When we got there we noticed the dip stick was missing. We called him and he refused to come to his shop and bring it to us. My husband started driving the truck to AutoZone to get a dip stick and check the fluids. On the way the car started smoking. We hadn't even gone a mile. Come to find out there was NO transmission fluid and the truck would not drive after that. We called William and he refused to answer his phone. Our mechanic friend came and looked at the truck and said the transmission was never replaced. So we payed for a new transmission which was never replaced. William continued to ignore our calls. We ended up having to pay a tow truck driver to tow the truck to our friends house where it sits until we can come up with the money for the transmission AGAIN. I would not recommend this shop or William to anyone. He is very unprofessional. He lied to us and stole our money. He is not to be trusted.

Mountain Transmission God forbid you break down on vacation,…read morebut if you find yourself around Logan Ut and have trans problem, I recommend Mountain Transmission, I had some major problems my transmission in my Dodge truck while traveling thru Salt Lake City, my wife's brother lives just outside of Logan, Ut, so while we were being towed, I called a few shops, then I called mountain transmission, checked reviews, Mountain Transmission came up favorable, Well, I am here to say the Jake from MT went over above to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work they had done on my dodge, Being that we were traveling and getting a warranty that was local or nationwide, that's what you will need to decide, I decided on a local warranty and a custom rebuild, I did have a couple of issues later on and Jake told me if I could get truck back to him, he would replace trans, I did get a second trans under warranty and have had zero issues to date Jake is honest and trustworthy. Traits that are hard to find these days, Thanks to everyone at Mountain Transmission for getting me back on the road, Doug Rialto, California

I made arrangements and dropped my vehicle off Monday evening after hours so they could look at it on Tuesday, February 4th. I got a call later that day informing me that the radiator needed to be replaced and letting me know that the differential fluid should be replaced as well. I was sent a quote (see pic) quoting me $1,386.71 for the radiator replacement (which CarShield should cover) and $734.21 for an oil change, differential fluid replacement, shop fees, etc. I agreed to the repairs and they informed me that it would take a couple of days to order the radiator and install. The following week on Tuesday, February 11th, I was informed that the radiator was damaged in shipping (which happens and is understandable) so it would take more time. No one bothered to call me after that. I waited two days and called them on Thursday, February 13th. They told me that my vehicle wouldn't be ready until the following Monday, but didn't explain why it would take an extra two business days. They still did not call me to provide any updates. I finally called them the morning of Monday, February 17th asking if my vehicle was done and was told that they just need to put the fluids back in and it will be ready. I did not hear from them the rest of the morning or afternoon. I finally called around 4:00 PM to ask about the status and was not provided any explanation about the delays but was told that I could pick it up at 6:00 PM (which is when they close). I showed up five minutes before 6:00 PM and Service Advisor Nathan Garrett came out from the back. As the door swung open, I saw my Range Rover still up on a hoist. He claimed that they were pretty much finished and just need to take it for a quick test drive, which was clearly a lie. He went to the computer and started clicking around for 3-4 minutes and seemed to be stalling. I offered to pay, but he kept clicking around on the computer for another awkward couple of minutes. I finally sat down while I waited for him to get the bill ready. He continued to not say anything to me. I finally spoke up and said, "Do you want me to come back in a bit?" He responded, "That's fine, if you have something you need to go do. It will only be 5-10 minutes." A service mechanic then came out from the shop and tried to whisper to Nathan and I heard him say: "It's not even close to being done." Nathan then responded, "He said that it would be ready by 6:00 PM." Nathan got up and walked with the mechanic through a door to the service area without saying a single thing to me. I then sat there waiting for an update as 5 minutes rolled by. Then 10 minutes, Then 15 minutes. Then 20 minutes. Then 25 minutes. No one bothered to come talk to me and tell me what was going on. I finally lost patience and rang the notification doorbell on the counter. No response. I knocked on the door to the service area. No response. I rang the bell again. Nothing. I knocked again. Nothing. I rang the bell a third time...STILL nothing. I knocked extremely loud a third time...STILL nothing. Finally fed up with everything, I got a napkin from their snack area and started to write a note when Nathan came back in. I told him: "You clearly are not done with my car! So I'll just come back tomorrow." He responded, "It will just be another 5-10 minutes." I replied, "Yeah, I'm not sure I believe that. I'll pick it up tomorrow." I then left without my vehicle. The following day, I did not receive a phone call until 10:39 AM and was told that my car was finally ready to be picked up. I went to the shop after work to pick up my car and was expecting a bill for $734.21 like I was quoted. To my surprise, the bill was now $1,027.27. I bluntly, but politely, expressed my frustrations with the delays and lack of communication, which culminated in a much higher than expected bill. I asked for an explanation and Nathan was called from the back. I politely expressed my frustration to him as well and he apologized for leaving me hanging the night before. I told him I will pay whatever is a fair cost for everything, thinking that perhaps they would waive the oil change or something as a courtesy for my mistreatment and inconvenience. Nothing. I paid the full bill, still unsure of why it cost more than I was quoted. The communication was awful, the customer service was atrocious, and lack of care was appalling. Save yourself the time and money and find a better repair shop.
