My bank was making it next to impossible to get any kind of nice car (offering 9000 for a 14000 car when I was approved for 15000) and they helped me apply for other credit unions! Beware of this dealership! My teenage son went shopping for a truck for the first time...he was naive and inexperienced and didn't consult with me prior. That was his mistake. However, he ended up deciding on a truck at Deals on Wheels. The truck had 179,000 miles on it and only had a book value of $3,500. Deals on Wheels took advantage of his inexperience and sold the truck to him for $9,800! To top it off, they worked out a deal with America First Credit Union to cut him a loan at 18% interest! After about 2 weeks of purchasing, the motor begins having problems and mechanic said that the motor needed replaced. Estimated cost was $6,500 for replacement! Now we have a truck that doesn't run and my son is completely upside down in this truck. I recognize much of the mistake being a naive and inexperienced teenager. However I am extremely disappointed with the integrity and ethics of this dealership! I will never buy from this dealership and I will always recommend to anyone else to avoid! read more

The most amazing experience EVER!! I spent the entire week calling and asking a ton of questions to a lot of car dealership. Very honest owner. The original owner / founder of this business runs this place still 30 years later. Even after Utah Carzz and Nate & Andy's have been bought out by a financing underwriter, this guy stays true to his industry. He is honest, and will find ways to make things work for customers, even if it means accepting thousands less than he had marked on them. I purchased a truck after a short test drive. There were a few issues but I got a discount to cover them and they seemed like an honest place. Wrong. Less than 5 miles after buying the truck and starting the 100+ mile drive home the check engine light went on. I should have turned around then and returned it, but it was a Friday night and I need to head out of town the next morning for a week, and I figured they would take care of it. Wrong. Turns out that the truck needed new catalytic converters, 2 of them at $300-$400 a piece. By resetting the engine codes they were able to turn off the check engine light. It stays off for a few miles while the computer gathers information about the various systems. Basically you can reset the codes to make it look clean for a few mile test drive, sell the truck and then stick the new owner with the repair costs. Additionally the cruise control didn't work, the frame appears bent, and there is now a slip somewhere in the drivetrain, possibly the trans. This is the truck that keeps on giving. When I contacted them they said they couldn't take the truck back because they already paid the salesman a commission. But if I wanted to drive all the way back, and leave the truck with them for a few days they would fix it and only charge me "their cost". Pretty nice racket, deceive people into buying cars that need repairs and then turn around and stick them again for repair costs. Get them going both ways! There is a reason they come across as a slick willy 2nd class car dealership. After the necessary repairs I would have been much better off buying a truck at one of the many reputable dealerships. Its my fault for thinking it was a good deal and being trusting. If you must buy something here only do it if you live local, take a looong test drive to bring up any codes, and have your personal mechanic check everything thoroughly. If you get any pushback you'll know why. read more

Honest, Fair and NO GAMES! The Ownership here is great, huge inventory of vehicles, nothing flashy, but if you're looking for a great vehicle, at a fair price without the headache of haggling and playing games, this is the place to go. I bought a Toyota Sienna Van there in 2012, not problems with the vehicle or with the employees there at time of purchase. I bought a vehicle from these guys in June 2012 for approximately $20,000. After test driving it I noticed the steering wheel vibrating at 40-60 mph, the vehicle would pull to the right while driving, and that is was out of alignment a bit. I told the salesman that I was interested in the vehicle if this problem could be fixed. He said he would take it to Jack's Tire and Oil. He took it there and reported back that all the problems had been fixed. I bought the truck. After driving the vehicle approximately 500 miles, the vehicle began running very poorly. I took it to a mechanic and learned that all of the 8 injectors were bad and they would need to be replaced. This would cost $7,000. I had no choice but to repair the vehicle or it would be inoperable. I did complain to Deals on Wheels and they offered to pay half of the repair. One month later the steering wheel began again to vibrate, the vehicle would pull hard to the right while driving, and it was out of alignment. Also the air would not stop blowing out of the defrost vents. You could not change it to the floor vents or the dash vents. I took it to a trustworthy mechanic who told me that many of the steering linkages, ball joints, and other steering components were worn out. I asked him if this was something that could of been overlooked by Deals on Wheels when I complained about this exact same symptom 2 months ago. He stated to me that the parts were so worn out that this couldn't of been missed by a mechanic or someone doing an alignment. Also when the mechanic repaired the air vent problem they found over 20 pens and pencils and 2 cigars in the heater box. These items had fallen down the defrost vents under the previous owner. How could they of missed that?? Cost to repair the steering problems and air blower problems? $2800. So I have owned a truck they sold me for $20,000 under good faith that the truck was what they said it was. And now I have put nearly $10,000 worth of repairs so that it is operable. I complained once again to Deals on Wheels and they said, "sorry. We thought it was a good vehicle". What does this mean? It means that they don't stand behind what they sale and that THEY DO NOT DO THOROUGH INSPECTIONS OF THE VEHICLES THEY ARE SELLING. THE PROBLEMS THAT A VEHICLE MIGHT HAVE IS COVERED UP OR IGNORED. Can I just vent for a minute? My 18 year old son saved his money and went into Deals on Wheels and purchased a truck the end of last month. Well the truck was parked for 2 weeks out of this time while Chance was in North Dakota working. He only drove the truck for less than 2 weeks. Well it was leaking transmission fluid and was sputtering. So he went in to talk to them and they referred him to there mechanic and told them they would give him a loaner car until his truck was fixed. They called him today from Deals on Wheels and told him the truck was fixed and that they needed the loaner car back. Well the mechanic came back and said there is several seals that are bad and the transmission is missing bolts and the drive shaft is loose. The truck is not fixed and the parts did not even come in until about 4:00 and the truck will not be fixed until Monday. So now he is without transportation until Monday and who knows how much it is going to cost to fix the vehicle. To top it all off Steve from Deals on Wheels accused my son of taking the bolts out of the transmission and loosening the drive shaft. He was also very ignorant to my daughter and yes I heard it all first hand I was on the phone with my daughter. Well hats off to the owner Bob Bear and to his wonderful employee Steve. I will make sure to let everyone know the experience we have had with this reputable company. The first payment has not even come due yet. I will give them a thumbs down. read more
