Harrison is a good sales guy - makes it seems like he knows what he and his shop is doing. A…read moremistake was made fueling my vehicle so I engaged Harrison and he sounded confident. He charged to verify issue and did not credit the evaluation fee when doing 10K plus amount of labor/parts. The vehicle required a lot of parts/labor and logistics as it happened 3 days before I was suppose to move long distance. I was out of the area when he finally got to working on my vehicle and promised to check it out to make sure it ran ok after receiving $10K to his pocket . He claimed he needed to redo re- drop the transmission again and check something which did not need to be done. This added a week to the process. Harrison cost me an extra 1500 dollars on top on what he charged me because of travel/rental/expenses that would have not occurred if he had properly communicated in a timely manner - sent a video that my vehicle was running and I started a 1800 road trip to go pick it up while a renting a vehicle. He called 6 hours later when I was in the middle of heavy traffic - I finally got back to him continuing to drive towards him about 50 miles while talking. I needed to make arrangements to tow my vehicle at my expense - to a dealer to fix yet another issue that I think Harrison and his crew knew about but did not disclose until I drove a third of the way back in a rental vehicle. - travel - fuel back to where I was staying and extra rental cost! Basically something else wrong with the vehicle that was covered under warranty but I needed make all the arrangements 1000 miles away to get it towed to the dealer from his place of business as he was unable to do the warranty work or did not want to do it - I highly suspect Harrison and his crew knew something else was up with my vehicle and could have well informed me BEFORE I drove a 1/3 of the way back 1800 miles to pick up my vehicle - they were not sure if it was something they did or not and luckily the dealer covered under warranty - there was a hiccup with the dealer work but that is not Harrison's issue. Knock on wood my vehicle made it 1800 miles back to my new location and seem So Harrison work + hiccups + extra logistical expense + dealer and hiccup fixes (under warranty) - driving 1800 mile on a trip plus extra month - the vehicle seems to be running fine now - who knows what worked and what was fixed I certainly do not. No confidence to use Harrison and his crew again even if the actually work they charge me BIG BUCKS for was good or not? It cost me A LOT of money on top of expensive repairs - still wondering if I should have traded in day the fuel issue happened - fingers crossed my vehicle lasts a few more years with out any more mishaps -

I had a terrible experience with Leavitt Automotive in Logan. I own a small dealership in Provo…read morearea, and my son, who goes to school in Logan, had car trouble. His car wouldn't start after stopping briefly, likely due to a faulty starter since there was no cranking or clicking, though the battery seemed fine. After trying to jump-start it without success, we called AAA and had it towed to Leavitt Automotive based on their good reviews. The technician initially said they would test the starter, but later claimed the battery was bad and needed replacement, showing me a test result with handheld device. Despite my skepticism, I agreed to the replacement. The next day, they said the car still wouldn't start and now needed another diagnostic for the starter --apparently, they hadn't tested the starter yet. I had to pay $200 for initial diagnostics and $400 for the battery replacement and additional diagnostic fee to test the starter, so I asked them to reinstall the original battery. AAA then towed it back to my shop in Provo. I had the original battery tested at AutoZone (I wanted to check the condition of the batt.), and it showed as fully functional / healthy - turned out to be a GOOD battery!! OMG!! I called Leavitt Automotive to get refund what they charged ($200 initial diagnostic / $100 battery service), and the representative, Jim insisted the battery was no good. He hung up the phone and never answered. So I called other rep. After more back-and-forth, the owner only offered a $20 refund, claiming it covered the technician's work. Who made a faulty diagnostic?! I paid $300, two tows and got nothing!! My mechanic diagnosed and replaced the starter, and now the car runs and drives perfectly with the original battery--confirming it was a starter issue all along. I'm reporting this incident to the BBB for misleading diagnostics and refusal to take responsibility. The original battery, still in good condition, is proof. This shop is overpriced and untrustworthy. Be cautious--you could end up a victim, too.

After reading reviews on various car shops, I had trust that Autobahn would be a great. My car had…read moresome difficulties starting recently. I replaced the battery yesterday but the car still would not start. I took my car in and was called about 2 hours later. They told me that the problem was that a cap was left on the battery when I installed it. I had them also fix the placement my light that was not quite in the right spot and was tricky for me to do on my own (the light bulb was already new). I was told that my total would be $241. I asked why and the lady at the front desk had the mechanic explain to me why. (All listen on my invoice) I was charged $140 for a diagnostic test. The mechanic said they started with the alternator and starter. When they found that those both worked well, they moved onto the battery. They found that it had no power. They found a cap on the battery, removed it, and got the car up and running again. They then charged me $70 for replacing a lightbulb when all I wanted was it placed back in the right spot. No one called me and asked if I would like the up charge of the light bulb being replaced. A few hours later, I felt like going back and reviewing my dash cam footage. It revealed that my car was taken back into the shop at 9:32 and the cap on the battery was found at 9:41. I reviewed all 9 minutes of that footage and my car was not touched. No diagnostic test was ran and the cap was found immediately upon starting the inspection. Within 9 minutes of my car being brought back, they found the problem. When reviewing further, there was a mechanic who got into my car, opened my glovebox, pulled my first aid kit out, and then turned my dash cam off manually. They had no reason to be getting into my glovebox or going through my things. If they needed something out of there like the manual, they should have asked me to pull it out prior. From that point on, this technician turned my dash cam off repeatedly for remainder of the service. I did not get to see my light be replaced or anything else. I got this dash cam for the safety of my car and did not give anyone permission to turn it off. I would not recommend this shop. They are dishonest and are not truthful with their prices and what they charge you for. They had an opportunity to be honest and fair and gain a new, repeat customer and they blew it. I have attached footage below.
