Took my truck in for a tick and was told it was a piston and would cost almost 3 grand in repairs…read more (99% of the time a piston slap or piston will get louder when a truck gets hot) The best part is he said he wasn't sure if he could fix it and wanted me to pay even though I couldn't get a for sure answer. It was a bad lifter that costed me less then $200, I honestly think this mechanic thought id be dumb enough to fall for it and was hoping to make lots of money off me. I don't think its A1 but more or less the mechanic they have hired! They should be getting a second opinion or digging deeper if they think people are just going to fall for this and for that kind of cash up. The best part, I knew more about what was going on then he did. He never gave me one answer that was assuring, why would i pay for his work. Watch out when they quote you get a second opinion its ridiculous!

My 2009 Yukon got banged up pretty good, JC auto was the only shop that had openings vs waiting a few weeks. I have too many issues to go into detail, but when they promise to fix and day after day I'm back at the shop with issues?? Like the disappearing running boards would go up & down while driving down the highway or my side mirrors were loose and come to find out were never replaced. And wires hanging from underneath that were never secured to the frame.. on and on!! Any questions you have, go in person! Don't call because no one gives a straight answer. The online progression concept is nice, if they remember to take pictures every step of the process. I recommend shop around before you come here

I went back today and spoke with Eric who did the paint job. He had an arrogant attitude and said he takes pride in his work, but not on touch ups. He said he wasn't gonna redo it. Maaco gave me a better quote than any of the competing companies, then offered to fix some unrelated damage on my hood for a discount since it would already be in the shop. Just to be sure I was getting a good quote on that, I asked another company for an additional quote on the hood, and sure enough Macao's quote was significantly better. In the end I had both the accident repair and the hood done at Maaco. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but they were done much quicker than I had originally been told it would be. The staff was also super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I simple can't say enough good things about these guys!

I was searching all day and looking at different lots, but they either didn't have what I wanted, were too pushy, or flat out wasted my time. I found them as I was traveling north up the valley and pretty much was going to give up after them if I didn't find the car I was looking for. I searched their up-to-date website that had honest pricing and no shady "call for price". I found a car I was interested in and headed there. I went in and was greeted and shown the car. I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them. Harrison is a good sales guy - makes it seems like he knows what he and his shop is doing. A…read moremistake was made fueling my vehicle so I engaged Harrison and he sounded confident. He charged to verify issue and did not credit the evaluation fee when doing 10K plus amount of labor/parts. The vehicle required a lot of parts/labor and logistics as it happened 3 days before I was suppose to move long distance. I was out of the area when he finally got to working on my vehicle and promised to check it out to make sure it ran ok after receiving $10K to his pocket . He claimed he needed to redo re- drop the transmission again and check something which did not need to be done. This added a week to the process. Harrison cost me an extra 1500 dollars on top on what he charged me because of travel/rental/expenses that would have not occurred if he had properly communicated in a timely manner - sent a video that my vehicle was running and I started a 1800 road trip to go pick it up while a renting a vehicle. He called 6 hours later when I was in the middle of heavy traffic - I finally got back to him continuing to drive towards him about 50 miles while talking. I needed to make arrangements to tow my vehicle at my expense - to a dealer to fix yet another issue that I think Harrison and his crew knew about but did not disclose until I drove a third of the way back in a rental vehicle. - travel - fuel back to where I was staying and extra rental cost! Basically something else wrong with the vehicle that was covered under warranty but I needed make all the arrangements 1000 miles away to get it towed to the dealer from his place of business as he was unable to do the warranty work or did not want to do it - I highly suspect Harrison and his crew knew something else was up with my vehicle and could have well informed me BEFORE I drove a 1/3 of the way back 1800 miles to pick up my vehicle - they were not sure if it was something they did or not and luckily the dealer covered under warranty - there was a hiccup with the dealer work but that is not Harrison's issue. Knock on wood my vehicle made it 1800 miles back to my new location and seem So Harrison work + hiccups + extra logistical expense + dealer and hiccup fixes (under warranty) - driving 1800 mile on a trip plus extra month - the vehicle seems to be running fine now - who knows what worked and what was fixed I certainly do not. No confidence to use Harrison and his crew again even if the actually work they charge me BIG BUCKS for was good or not? It cost me A LOT of money on top of expensive repairs - still wondering if I should have traded in day the fuel issue happened - fingers crossed my vehicle lasts a few more years with out any more mishaps -
