Pulled in with one car ahead of us, 45 minutes later we are still waiting. Told us that it would be another 20-30 minutes before they can even get our car in and then another 20-30 minutes. Making the entire time to get oil changed 1 1/2 to 2 hours with one car ahead of us. Congrats, you have turned a ten minute job into a 20-30 minute job. This place is a scam. Took my car for emissions testing after $600+ repair and they said my car didn't pass. Took it another place and it did pass. The mechanic that worked on my car said no codes were coming up as well as the second place I went to. Very fishy. Let my waste of money and time help you avoid wasting yours. They put the wrong air filter in my car. My car stopped working and I had to have it towed and paid for the repair and the correct air filter. I can't get any one to call me back and I've been to each location several times and the manager is never their. They take my information and never get back to me. It cost me over $400.00 read more

My husband took my car in for an oil change. The attendant tried to upsell him on the synthetic oil and $100+ price tag. When my husband declined and specified a different oil, the attendant said it would void the car's warranty. Luckily, we are is smarter than that and the attendant responded by saying his boss told him to say that. What a bunch of dishonest jerks. read more

I sent my teenage son to simply get an oil change. I told him they will try to up-sell him more services but all we needed was an oil change. He came home having spent $150 on unneeded services. When he told them he didn't want the services they pushed and said they would improve the performance of the vehicle. He caved and accepted the services. We called the manager to complain and were told that it is their policy to up-sell. Fair enough but did they have to lie to a teen promising him the services would improve vehicle performance. Whenever I don't have time to change my cars oil Grease Monkey has done a good job. They put the correct oil in, right oil filter, didn't strip my drain bolt (seen that before at other places), worked quickly, and they out the right amount of oil in. No top off required! Would return again for oil when I'm in a bind! read more

My wife was taken advantage of. She brought in the car for an oil change, which they did a great job on. However, when I looked at the receipt, I noticed I was charged $15 for an emissions test. My car didn't even need an emissions test! It was registered 5 months ago and the registration was current. Not sure if oil changes now require an emissions test? When I called to ask, The guy I spoke to on the phone, wouldn't help me and couldn't explain why an emissions test was done. Awful customer service all around. Sad, this place used to be my favorite, but it's slowly gone down hill the past few times. Guess I'll be headed elsewhere. read more

My wife and I have been loyal customers of Grease Monkey for many years however, never again. It snowed last night and as it happens frequently, the hood of my Land Rover can become a little frozen and sometimes the latch needs to be bumped to open when this happens. I had checked the oil the day before when filling up with gas and it was low so I thought I would have the oil changed this morning. The Grease Monkey manager came out and said, "Sorry but the cable latch is broken so we can't change the oil today". I am positive that when the hood did not immediately pop up the technician cranked hard on the lever and the cable broke. They would not own up to this and take responsibility but said they would "look at the camera and see what happened". RIGHT!!! Good bye Grease Monkey. You have lost all trust from me. This should be a lesson to anyone who may have an issue before or after any service at Grease Monkey. Even if it was their fault, they will never admit any wrong doing nor take ownership for any damage. read more

Everyone there is so nice, the manager even came to my house after they left the drain plug out to let me know that my son had driven our truck all the way to Salt Lake without the oil plug in the rear differential; wasn't that nice of him? Oops! How does this happen? "Oh, I forgot to put the drain plug back in..." It's not like these people are shade tree mechanics, it's their specialization, this is what they do! SMH read more

Do NOT go here!!! Brought my car in for aa AC Freon refill and left with a ceased compressor. The compressor was working fine when I arrived, and not at all when I left which is now a $2500 repair. The listed service techs were Paul, brad, Bret, and Steven. They must have also known they screwed it up because they did give me a $55 managaer discount but still charged $140 to fill Freon and cease my compressor. The last two oil changes you put the wrong oil in my car and then tried to lie to my face about it. You have voided any warrant that I had. When asked why you stated you stated in Europe that is the spec. We are not in Europe and in the US we run the motors differently. Don't tell me it was a misprint on my sticker, but when I made you pull up the history it showed it was the wrong oil. read more

Have been a loyal customer since the store opened. Today I climbed under my truck to add some grease to my suspension when I noticed oil leaking from the filter. The filter was not tightened and started to leak. Had the filter fallen off driving down the highway it would have seized my engine. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

Went to have my car checked after finding fluid on the driveway where my car was parked. I wanted them to check and see if I had an oil leak. Instead, they changed my oil even though I had 1000 miles left before it needed to be changed. All I wanted was for them to check my car for a problem. I like to wait for a coupon for oil changes since they are cheaper and I get a free car wash. Good service but my request was not followed and I ended up paying more than I should have. Not sure if I will be going back. read more

Customer service was super friendly. Beyond friendly to me! I visited grease monkey for an oil change. They take care of more than just your oil to my surprise. Filled all my other fluids and vacuumed out my truck for me. Good experience and will probably go back! Nothing super amazing about them but they are definitely good :) read more
