Really wish I could have provided a better review for Leafs U Green. I firmly believe in supporting small, local businesses, so obviously I was excited to come across Peter and his company on Yelp! but let this be a cautionary tale. Out the gate Peter was responsive and excited about my project. I was redoing an entire courtyard which hadn't been updated in well over 30 years. I was very clear on my expectations and did a lot of the prep work prior to him and his team coming through. Peter talked a good game; we shared our experiences with different irrigation options, plant selection and weed mitigation approaches. We both shared a desire to maintain a fair and respectful approach to this landscape remodel. Everything went great leading up to their arrival at the house to begin work. Peter did very little of the work, and his two workers were barely managed. The lead worker was sloppy and aggressive. Downright disrespectful. I had spent nearly a thousand dollars on wholesale plants and he treated them as if they were garbage that he was inconvenienced to have to plant. My requests to have Peter supervisor his labor was ineffective. Two days later and the entire job was completed to the most mediocre of standards. Because I believe firmly in paying people on time, I paid at the end of the job assuming that the work would be guaranteed. Peter wasted no time depositing the payment, but has completely ignored subsequent communications to fix the poor quality work of his lead worker. It's been four months and it's clear Peter and his business plan to ghost me. He failed to complete the agreed upon work and has made zero effort to remedy the remaining problems. Finding honest and reliable landscapers is tough going. Sadly Leafs U Green is just another landscaper looking to turn a quick buck with no regards for the quality of his work. read more

Peter and his team exceeded our expectations! We cannot recommend this company enough. We called around for various quotes, Peter and his team were the most prompt and also most honest/fair in their quoting with a very transparent model. He had great communication and showed up when they said they would. He is also licensed/certified, which is very important! Specifically they helped with installation of a drainage system in our backyard (had water logging from heavy rains), shed removal, and aeration/seeding of our current lawn. What we were also very impressed with is he didn't try to upsell us/sell us something we didn't need. At first I wanted to replace all the grass, but he hinted that because of the landfills that could be an expensive process. I appreciate his transparency and recommendations on what works best for us financially. All in all, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Look no further! read more

Everything was perfect -- fixed a major leak in my sprinkler system. Responded quickly - quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly at a price that was more then fair -- even changed out another valve for me ! I will use them for all my landscaping and sprinkler needs. 10 stars if I could read more

Service April 18. The agreed contract and onsite verbal agreement of services which were monetarily substantial fees to be performed was not sufficiently accomplished to the five star reviews of other clients. As of June 10 2020 company has not met its obligations or replied back to my communications, thus requiring myself and paying others to finish or redo items. read more

Is this business still in business? I have been calling for 3 weeks and only get a recording to call back. You can't even leave a message. One shut-off valve that was installed 2 months ago is leaking and needs repaired. Will have call another service to repair their work. Not happy. Have to pay for the same job twice. read more

I enjoyed Peter and the discussion he was professional and personal the only reason we did not go with them is due to scheduling but if you do not have a semi urgent need I would highly recommend them ! Leaf-U- Green replaced 5 irrigation valves and changed existing bubblers to low volume drip bubblers on my rental property.($2,217) Next, they came to my residence and were to install a new irrigation system as well as a drainage pipe. ($5889.) Owners and crew friendly and got to work. The irrigation system was completed. They said they would return in 2 weeks to fertilize and install the drainage system. I called the next day because the sprinklers were all overshooting onto the patio, sidewalks, street, and driveway. No return call until a month later! They came back annoyed that we weren't happy. They tried many times to install the drainage, but could not keep the pitch. I had them stop when Pete ran the drain under the patio floor! They did give us a refund for the drain. My tenants called and said one of the replaced valves was leaking. I called Shane and he told me they could get over next week. OK. Five months after installing my new irrigation system, one zone quit working. I called, again no return call. I called at least 5 more times. Finally Shane calls back. We can't get over until next week, I've tested positive for Covid. OK, call back and tell me when you can come. I'm still waiting. The zone killed the grass in the back yard, so I dug up the 30' to look for the broken pipe. No broken pipe, but a pipe buried under the ground that was not connected to anything!!! Every time the sprinkler ran, this pipe was gushing water under the ground for five months!!! I fixed it along with another sprinkler pipe that was placed directly in front of the bamboo and was broken in three places. Then I noticed they connected that pipe to an old pipe that ran directly through the bamboo. I had told them to go around the bamboo! I fixed that. Recently, I was at my rental property and my tenant showed me the valve that was still leaking! He told me they never came back to fix that! How they get 5 star reviews is beyond me. This is what I got for approximately $7,000. I've filed a complaint with the State Licensing Board. Beware, and choose someone else. Paul D. read more

Peter, Shane and the crew did an incredible job preparing our 2 acre yard for our daughters wedding. The work turned out incredible, and the wedding was STORYBOOK! That was 6 months ago. Since then, we have had a few things to "touch-up", and the follow up service is the best, and that is coming from a very picky, OCD guy. Pete Stefanello is a great landscaper. I had him remove all of my junipers in front of my house and put in lantana plants. He removed and replaced my old irrigation system and put in new lawn. He removed many infected Italian Cypress trees and other trees in my back yard and put in a new lawn. Pete is a great talented man with lots of knowledge in what his service provides and makes his customers happy. You won't go wrong with Leafs-U-Green take my word for it! read more
