He showed up on time, the estimate was fair, and they managed to squeeze me into their already busy schedule just three days later. They arrived within an hour of their quoted time (they send me a text letting me know they were on their way), which I don't fault them for as I was just happy to have them show up. They took lots of pictures before and after, and yes... our gutters were clogged. Not anymore though! The sales person (Jake) who came out to Niskayuna to provide an estimate was very friendly and said all the right things about how TBTJDG values their customers and works to retain your business. We agreed to a scope of work and paid a 50 percent deposit. On install day, the installer decided the scope of work needed to be changed, but didn't bother to contact us to discuss it before moving forward. The result was disastrous. I returned home from work to find two down spouts installed on both sides of the entry in the house in a very odd and unsightly manner. Imagine two very long wings coming out from the side of your house. Upon discovering this, we contacted Jake and he came out to review the situation. The fix we came up with was to extend the unsightly down spouts underground. They had the audacity to charge us to fix the mistake and to make matters worse it still took at least 3 weeks and several calls and text messages for someone to show up to complete the job. Today 2 installers who clearly have little or no experience doing this work showed up and things quickly went from bad to worse. We waited and watched patiently while they lacked the proper equipment and tools to do the job and had to leave several times in search of materials to complete the job. Six hours later we're told that someone else from the company will need to come back to complete the job because these installers were not comfortable with the results. Well guess what....neither are we. I typically don't write reviews good or bad. However, I've remained professional and cordial throughout this several week process, but this is utterly ridiculous. I feel sorry for the installers that came today. They needed guidance and tried to call their boss who couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone or call them back. Ultimately, the job was completed to the best of their ability. One would think that since the initial work didn't go well, they're send experienced installers capable of making things right. I say again, ridiculous. Buyer beware.

Randy was there helping out doing the work. The only thing I would suggest is that the team do a better job of cleaning up after the job. When they were done, there were little blobs of gutter debris in various spots around the yard. If I needed more gutter work, I would use Absolute Seamless Gutters again without hesitation.

I understand accidents happen, and there is always a slim possibility of other reasons, but when pointed out, the response was, "We weren't even working there." What? It's exactly where they were working! And, "there's nothing that would have scratched there." It's exactly where the sharp edged gutter was brought up over the railing. I couldn't believe the lack of accountability which continued. They actually tried to say there were other spots along the railing that were banged up, which was actually just not-perfect staining over bumpy wood grain...not the same thing at all as the gauges left. When they offered to stain the railings, I declined, as I just wanted them out as soon as possible after feeling so hoodwinked and disrespected Also attached it a photo of a gutter that they had banged up early in their visit. Though they ended up using it where it couldn't be seen, which is fine, it is proof that there is carelessness involved in their work. Also attached is the horribly cut hole through our brand new deck for the gutter and a crookedly installed gutter. Shoddy and unaccountable.

A…read moreneighbor advised that this company had painted the entire inside of her home and he did a great job. So we decided to contact the owner, Bill, a shot. Well we couldn't be happier with that decision. Bill came and gave us an estimate and hit the exact number I expected. His price was very fair. We arranged a date for the job. Bill showed up right on time and went right to work. Our job involved two different colors and walls in part were about 10 feet high. Bill did what is called cutting in which involves using a brush next to areas of a different color that we didn't want paint on. Cutting in takes an amazingly steady hand and Bill's painting talent became instantly apparent. Bill's cutting work was superb! He then went about applying the first of two coats of paint on each of the 4 walls. When it became time to apply the second coat Bill amazed me! He the cutting in technique on the entire room AGAIN! Most painters would not have taken the time to do that most time consuming process again. However Bill did it and the overall painting job was a masterpiece of work. I give my absolute highest rating to Bill for his work and work ethic. Keep in mind that Bill is not just a painter. He is a general contractor and would be willing to take on any job you might have. He has built over 300 homes and there is nothing he can't do. Do yourself a favor and contact Bill for any job you have in mind. You will not be disappointed!!!

Problems such as subsidence were evident within a few months, but he failed to respond to phone calls and texts. This spring we discovered a sinkhole. Again, no response to phone calls and texts. As can be seen in the photographs, the asphalt layer is very thin. The estimate and invoice said "supply and install finish coat. 3 inches of type thick finish top asphalt."
