Edit: I have raised my one star to three after my husband talked to the owner today. The accountability of the damage being done during the install is now there (which is all I really wanted, as I realize accidents easily happen in such cases). Steps are being taken to fix things, and the owner is regretful that things happened as they did. I appreciate it. (I'm so glad, because Anthony does seem like a delightful guy, and I would like his company to succeed. As long as clients concerns are taken seriously, I think it will! ;) I am shocked. I wish I had read the review already posted before we hired them. Our brand new, just-stained railing somehow managed to get all nicked up and gauged today. I understand accidents happen, and there is always a slim possibility of other reasons, but when pointed out, the response was, "We weren't even working there." What? It's exactly where they were working! And, "there's nothing that would have scratched there." It's exactly where the sharp edged gutter was brought up over the railing. I couldn't believe the lack of accountability which continued. They actually tried to say there were other spots along the railing that were banged up, which was actually just not-perfect staining over bumpy wood grain...not the same thing at all as the gauges left. When they offered to stain the railings, I declined, as I just wanted them out as soon as possible after feeling so hoodwinked and disrespected Also attached it a photo of a gutter that they had banged up early in their visit. Though they ended up using it where it couldn't be seen, which is fine, it is proof that there is carelessness involved in their work. Terrible, shoddy work. Did not stand by warranty. Did not stand by workers. Ripped up my siding, gobbed on excess caulk, did not secure gutter to home (had to pay a different company to fix this because All Things Gutter refused to), front gutter draining water directly into siding rather than down the downspout. Would never ever recommend. EDIT - in response to the owner's 'reasonable' response below - I did contact him! Several times! And I still have the emails to prove it. He shirked all responsibility and directed me to a 'friend' of his who would charge me for repair. He said the issue with the extra caulk, broken siding, and complete absence of gutter support was my fault because it was a "maintenance" issue. Yup - the entire back run of gutter that was not secured to my house was my fault according to him. I tried to reach a resolution with him and was basically told, 'Tough luck, maybe your home insurance will cover it.' read more

I spent a lot of time researching which rain gutter covers were the best. I read a lot of reviews and watched a number of promotions online. My conclusion is that some are better than others, but it also depends on your surrounding environment. Leaves, pine needles, oak tree catkins, no trees at all, they all require a different solution. Sorry to say that you'll still have to do your own research to determine which would most likely best meet your needs. In my case, I also wanted to replace the old, misaligned gutters. But one thing I can tell you is that the companies that advertise heavily on TV and in the mail fliers, also seem to be the ones that will give you the hardest sell when they come to give you that free estimate. I called All Things Gutter because they sold a product that I thought best met my needs - Leaf Blaster Pro. Anthony was very personable when we met for the estimate, he inquired what my needs were, listened carefully, and gave me what I believed was a reasonable price. How did I know it was reasonable? I also had a sales rep from a different company, with a very similar product, give me an estimate that was in the same ballpark as Anthony, but only after forcing me to suffer through a negotiation process that was akin to dealing with a used car salesman who started with an obviously, outrageously high price and then very slowly lowered his price offering, over about 45 minutes of annoying endurance, through a five or six step reduction. I was so happy just to have THAT salesman leave! After calling Anthony to inform him that I had selected his company, he set me up with an installation date and I provided a 50% down payment. Cash or checks, otherwise there is an additional fee if you want to use a credit card. The installers arrived on the planned date at about 8 AM and worked throughout the day. They were professional and friendly, persevering through the heat of the day and a few showers that occurred. They did an excellent job of cleaning up before they left. It's raining as I write this, and everything seems to be working fine. I can wholeheartedly recommend All Things Gutter. read more

Anthony came back a few days later after the first rain to make a few small adjustments. I would hire them again, but I'll not need to on this house. These gutters will last a lifetime. read more

I called Anthony two times with two different issues and both times was told "it was not their problem, it's on my end to remedy". They convinced me to put on leaf guards but yet debris still gets in and they won't correct - its my problem; two of the downspout extenders don't go out far enough leading to water in my basement three times, which had never happened before, again my problem when I asked them to come take a look. Not very professional people. We had to call them multiple times to schedule an appointment after we made payment. They cancelled our appointment last minute saying they are over booked. When they did come, they didn't finish the work as per the contract. When we asked them to fix it, they made us pay again. Even after paying them twice, when the guys came to do the work they said it's impossible to do what is in the contract. It seems the guy who draws the contract and says what can be done has no clue . He just takes your money and the actual people who do the work say they can't do what the guy who drew the contract says. read more

These people are very unprofessional. We hired them to install gutters and the guy who came for installation didn't do the work the way contract was done . We called them to fix it and they took more money they to the things that was there in original contract. we paid them again and when they came to finish work the guys said it's not possible to do the things that was in the original contract. I hired them to replace my gutters. They drew up a reasonable quote and we moved forward with the job. The installation wasn't done as agreed in our contract, and it also turns out their recommendation for the system led to all water from the house pooling in one spot and damaging my lawn. They came back to resolve the issue and agreed to putting downspouts on the other side of the house to spread the water out. When they came to do the second install they said that wasn't possible without replacing the entire system or voiding my warranty. I definitely don't recommend this company unless you know a lot about how gutter systems should be designed and installed, and even then you need to keep a close eye on what they do. Also don't trust what they say as they will tell outright lies. read more

I had gutters installed less than a year ago by All Things Gutter. The company responded fast and the install was smooth except after the winter the drain spout separated from my house. I called and left several messages during the winter when i saw the issue arise and I got no response. After several weeks and phone calls i finally got a response and the company said they would look into it the following weekend... The weekend came and went I received no visit, phone call, or resolution to my issue. After less than a year the product failed and I received no further help from All Things Gutter. This afternoon i walked outside and the gutter was fixed so i messaged the number from All Things Gutter who requested pictures and promised a visit but never showed up and has yet to respond and said "thanks the gutters look sharp" to which i received a "?" ... Then i realized he didnt fix or look at his previous fuck up but the company RainTech who was working o a neighbors house across the street had fixed another so called professionals work for them out of the kindness of there heart. I am disappointed to have written this review as our experience started off well with the quote and installation-day process. I have given this company ample written, videotaped, and verbal notifications of the issues that started right after installation. I gave them a deadline to respond and indicated that if I did not hear from the company, I would take that as an unwillingness to fulfill the guarantee. So here we are. After the installation of two gutters with guards and downspouts (Sept. 12, 2022), we experienced the same overflow issue within a day of installation as a good day of rain demonstrated. I have continued to document this issue with video. I immediately called and emailed with no reply from the company. Again, I tried to contact the company several times in October, then again in Nov. with more videos. The only reply I received was: "Hi D...when was the last time you had the gutter cleaned/serviced? It most likely is clogged" (11/16/22). Ummm-you just replaced everything with guards and I have attempted to contact you over and over again. Not to mention that I use the same email thread that actually includes our contract work. They are not clogged and are probably not installed properly to the seam. Since 11/16/22 I have heard nothing despite repeated attempts to contact them. Now, we have water damage to the wood awning area outside the front door and need to hire another company immediately before things start icing. So, what appears to be a very professional approach to business initially with reasonable pricing, is a nightmare if you need to follow up on your guarantee. I have filed complaints with BBB and the NYS General Attorney's office. There are far better and more reliable options out there for consumers. read more
