We purchased a $7K+ playset from Playset in Boerne. Great experience with Matthew, who is no longer…read morethere, and the install crew. Few hiccups, but they were on it. Since then, in less than 6 mos.,the stain is peeling off the playset all over. We called Brad, the guy who apparently replaced Matthew. Total bust. Do not expect customer service after the sale. It won't be there. I was told he was in his "sale season" and would get to it when he could. Clearly, they are on it to make the sale, just not after. After an exchange of words, he did have Eddie, out of N.B. call me and further tell me if it was not carpenter bees (their initial guesstimate without any eyes on site--which was wrong as there is no burrowing), then it must be a "different insect"--no name given to the insect, just a "different one". He did offer to come out after I insisted, but told me he'd been in the business 20+ years and this was an insect. We did not have him come out, as clearly they've made up their minds not to cover the peeling stain so why waste our time. The stain was clearly applied while the wood was either wet or green. Just run--do not do business with this company. We overpaid hoping it would be better quality. Obviously, it isn't. While they don't cover stain in their warranty, stain should last longer than 6 mos. -- and let be known, if you don't keep stain on it, it will void your structural warranty as well. What a win-win for them.

After a year of trying to get my Aventon Sinch repaired at E-bike shops in Mansfield and Farmers…read moreBranch with no luck or hope, only months of broken promises and aggravation, I found E-Bike Central had opened in Temple. A phone conversation with the owner renewed hope my Sinch might live again. Within minutes of bringing my bike in the door it was surrounded by all four employees diagnosing the problem each of the aforementioned e-bike shops couldn't in months of trying. Within 15 minutes the E-Bike Central team had my Sinch running like new! I won't mention how little they would accept for resurrecting my bike, other than to say I had to resort to tipping each employee $20 to keep my self-respect intact. By the way, E-Bike Central's showroom is like AN E-BIKE WONDERLAND, with dozens of cool models I never knew existed despite hours of e-bike shopping all over cyberspace. These guys are not just golden, but actually renewed my confidence that excellent business-people still exist; they're just few and far between. Suffice to say my 200 mile round-trip to E-Bike Central in Temple was well worth it. I can't thank these guys enough for saving my Sinch that two other e-bike shops FAILED MISERABLY to accomplish, despite $150 out of my pocket, and hundreds of miles in multiple round-trips to the D/FW metroplex.

To be fair, the shop did make multiple attempts to call me to come pick up the firearm, and I take responsibility for not getting there sooner. It simply wasn't a priority at the time. What I did not realize was that after 60 days, they can sell the firearm if it has not been picked up. They do disclose this policy on their website, so I want to be clear about that. However, because I purchased the firearm elsewhere and only had it shipped to this shop, I never had a reason to visit their website or review their terms and conditions. My biggest disappointment is that during the multiple attempts they made to contact me, no one ever communicated something as simple as, "If you don't pick up your firearm by this date, it will be sold." Had I known that, I obviously would have made picking it up a priority. So they did sell my rifle. So while I acknowledge that they attempted to reach me and that the policy is posted online, I think a much better customer experience would be to clearly communicate the 60-day deadline directly before selling someone's firearm. Just something to be aware of if you're having a firearm transferred here: make sure you understand their pickup policy and don't assume they'll specifically warn you before the deadline.
