Altres made my experience as a first time mother extremely stressful. I went over two months…read morewithout pay because they dragged their feet processing my TDI claim. They asked Pacific Guardian Life to violate HIPAA rights and share my doctors portion of the TDI claim to which PGL cc'd me onto the email showing they had asked for that. They refused to file their portion of the claim online like my doctor and myself had submitted (the recommended way). So I reluctantly agreed to share my doctors portion of my TDI claim to which they then lost when it was faxed to them. I then went another two weeks waiting for an update, only to find out from PGL that they were waiting for a correction to be made on Altres behalf. PGL said I qualified for 100% financial compensation of my pay but Altres said I only qualified for 50%. When I asked when the request was made, I was told they had emailed them on a Wednesday, it was Monday when I found that out. Then when I called Altres they said they had JUST received the email that morning. How convenient... The benefit specialist I dealt with was Alicia Tanouye. Altres should be ashamed for trying to get one by on a vulnerable first time mom. Having me go over two months without pay is just shameful and to try to undercut a full time employee.

( in my mind, i thought, what could go wrong in two hours) To my very pleasant surprise I found myself on the receiving end of compliments from the parents about the wonderful teacher. Inspired by the positive feedback, I thought I would try hiemployment again, this time for a lead teacher who was out for a week. I walked into work and saw the sub surrounded by happy children, enjoying a song she was teaching them. I am now a regular user of hiemployment and i can say that they work so hard to fill vacancies, often with very short notice. Staff are well trained, well qualified, professional and eager to jump in help out. They have saved me so much time and trouble finding training and retaining qualified subs.

Even though nothing came to be, she gets a star. I liked Vanessa Perez. She spoke about my potential as a candidate. But she left after one year or so. She gets a star. When I spoke with Barbara Guss, she said she will contact a law firm in Hawaii on my behalf. But she called me two months after the fact. I already got a job on my own. Aside from those ladies, I rarely get calls from them. Even if I did, a recruiter from the education section referred me to a remote part of the island. I tell them again and again that I don't have a car. They don't listen. In certain cases, I felt like they set me up for failure. I felt like I wasted my time with them. Pass.

There are a…read morenumber of staffing agencies in Honolulu, so there are options if one is on the job hunt, however the staff at Bishop and Company make a job seeker feel like they have a team on their side. They came back to me with offers that fit my criteria that I never found on Craigslist or Monster; and trust me, I was looking. I was contacted quickly, interviewed quickly, and received phone calls, e-mails, and follow ups frequently during my job search. Their testing and screening process is well thought out and helps tailor the types of job the candidate is best suited for, including a factor the candidate's choice of environment. Every job possibility that one of the recruiters offered me was one that fell within the outline that I indicated. At no point did a recruiter try to pressure me into taking a job below my standards just to get a posting completed. I was treated with respect, courtesy, and worth; all qualities that suffer an assault during a job search, especially if it begins to drag on. Bottom line, though their business is a business, they seem genuine in wanting to get the job-seeker hired in a permanent position where they can be successful.

Denelyn stated that she would share my resume and encouraged me to contact her if I had any additional questions. I followed up with Denelyn again on September 8, but I have not received a response. Just crickets. Communication is a fundamental part of the recruiting process. When a recruiting firm reaches out to a potential candidate, follows up, and then stops communicating without explanation, it creates a poor candidate experience and raises concerns about how the firm communicates with the people it represents. Potential candidates and employers considering working with Bishop & Co. should take the company's communication practices into account. Best not to waste your time.

I know that June and her dedicated staff will thoughtfully review this information, and if my wife is potentially qualified for this position, June or one of her dedicated professional staff members will contact my wife to secure additional information, such as a CV/Resume. My wife and I have been married for over 20 years, and my wife is truly a very kind and responsible person. Alliance Personnel has consistently demonstrated true professionalism towards me which gave me the confidence to share my wife's contact information with them. While the focus is on providing Japanese living here in Hawaii with opportunities to utilize their Native Japanese Language Communication Skills, I can honestly state that even though my mother's family is from Japan, my Japanese Language Communication Skills are terrible. When I have previously applied for positions that I thought I was potentially qualified for, June shared with me data based on my tests which clearly indicated that I had no business applying for these positions. Yet, June did so in a very compassionate and professional manner. Mahalo, Mark Kazuo Bradley

For me and a few of my corporate affiliates, Alliance is hired to provide temporary placement and and sometimes temporary to permanent hire. They work hard to find hires to fit each and every need. The group of women who work here including June who is the owner of the company are by far your "what you see is what you get" type people. There is no fanfare or fluff; just down right employment opportunities. So if like me you may be looking for temporary workers or temporary to permanent, Alliance is the one for you. I can't speak to as the one looking for employment as I've not been in that situation with Alliance. Based on my own experience with Alliance and its staffing, I can honestly say they are in the profession to deliver! Whether you are looking for temporary staff assignments, permanent placements or temporary to hire, Alliance is the place for you. I've not been disappointed ever!

Let me back it up there and go from the beginning. I wasn't looking at the time for another job, they found me. They told me about a great position that was right up my work experience. I went in and signed all the paperwork, they then forward my resume to the client. Went in for an interview a couple days later and got the position. However, unfortunately for me after 3 days there I came down with the flu. I was feeling like I was on deaths door.. I did everything I was supposed to do. Immediately called to let Source It know. I left voicemail ... you could hear it in my voice just how sick I was. I asked to be called back so that it was acknowledged. Nothing. No call back. Second day I was out I made sure to call again, got voicemail, left another message and said I was going to the doctors that day and would get a note. Asked to be called back. Nothing ... again Third day I called out, I again asked about the doctors note and if I could email it over to them. No reply ... nothing I emailed later that night because it's frustrating to not know what's going on. I FINALLY received a reply the very next day ... to sum it up in a few words ... sorry your sick but you don't have the job anymore. Mind you I was on prescribed medication that makes me sleepy ... but ah ... even if they had called they could've left a voicemail. And instead of CALLING ME BACK THE FIRST DAY I CALLED OUT to let me know that hey you have to be in regardless if your sick or you'll lose the job courtesy call ... they decided to do it 4 days later. Again I repeat .... nobody bothered to contact me after the numerous times I contacted them. It took them 4 effing days to get back to me. Not very professional at all. I wouldn't bother using them. They get 2 stars only because of the quick efficiency in placing me.
