I'm quite surprised by the other reviews here. I purchased my 2016 F-250 in April '18. I had actually called and taken about an hour of Vinny's time before I even purchased the truck, as he was more than willing to discuss my concerns, educate me, and provide real-world, valuable insight to a truck I didn't even have! Once I got the truck, here is what actually happened: I scheduled the appointment with Vinny, and he told me it would take two days. I dropped off Thursday morning at 9am, and Vinny called to tell me it was ready the next day (Friday) at 2pm. Perfectly managed expectations! When I got ready to lift the truck, Jordan spent another few hours (over a few weeks) discussing my options, educating me, and providing his professional insight as well. Once I had everything picked out, here's what actually happened: I scheduled an appointment, Jordan said it would take two days. I dropped off at 9am on Tuesday, and Jordan called me at about 4pm on Wednesday to tell me it was ready! I have since been back for another issue and have decided I'm not even going to take a chance with trying some other shop. The good folks at LFDP will be the only people touching my truck for the foreseeable future. I feel it relevant to mention I live in Lawrenceville, so it's a good 40 min drive to get out to LFDP. That is a negligible cost, however, considering the peace of mind I get knowing Jordan, Vinny, and the rest of their folks are working on my truck like it was one one of theirs. I'll close with saying I am a CPA working in a Buckhead high-rise, and as such, I have higher than "normal" expectations when it comes to dealing with service providers (for anything.) I have received nothing but the utmost professionalism from every person I have dealt with at LFDP, and that's why they have 100% of my diesel-related business, no questions asked. read more

To sum up the guys over at Leadfoot... "Family". It's not very often you find a business that turns out the kind of volume these guys do and still get treated like an old friend. Even if it's your first time in there!!. We can talk about professionalism and skill and knowledge and deadlines... These guys are second to none. They take the cake all the way across the board. But for me personally what keeps me coming back is I trust them. Vinny, Sport, Luke, all of the them. Whatever they tell me I treat as the Gospel. I've been in the diesel world for many years and have worked with shops all across the country. Never have I had a shop give me a cell number and say call me anytime until I met Vinny at leadfoot. And guess what? I've had him on the phone at 1 o'clock in the morning broke down on the side of the interstate having him walk me through getting it back going. Lead Foot has done several jobs for me, each worth several thousand dollars, and I typically deal with Vinny. Each time they did the work RIGHT. One job was an automatic to manual transmission conversion on a late model RAM - which apparently nobody had attempted before. How many shops would even try something like that. Another was a Ford 6.0L that barely ran. It took awhile, but they thoroughly diagnosed it and fixed the affordable things to get it roadworthy. Another shop didn't even diagnose it fully and just wanted to replace all the injectors. Another time Vinny personally helped me out when I was in a bind. Everything about diesel trucks is expensive as hell, and quite often difficult and frustrating. Yet, Lead Foot has always charged me fairly and honestly. Had a lot of going on with storms in our area and I work for the power company so my time was limited and the lead foot family found time for me and my needs with my trk. Vinny sat me down went over the price and parts and explained what all was involved and the day they finished was exactly what was discussed. No down time and no flaws. I will be going back for more upgrades. They are fare and will do anything to help you out. They also work on all of our EMC fleets and never once had to take it back. Even though Vinny tried to blow the motor in Skippy truck when he owned the truck. My son Zach begged Vinny to sell old Skippy to him and I guess Zach bugged him enough and it became Zach's truck. After my son Zach passed away, Lead Foot took old Skippy and fixed her so she runs like a new truck. Zach's brother Justin and myself are so blessed and grateful for what Lead Foot did for us. Sport you are a great a man and I am so thankful for what your business did for this old man. This is the only place I trust to work on my diesel truck. To me the thing that lets you know that a place is not just there for the money is when you ask them about something for your truck and they tell you that it isn't necessary or won't help yours. They have done this on several occasions and while they have done a lot of work to my truck they have been honest about what it needs and what it doesn't. They could have just said oh yeah that will help it will cost this much $$$ and taken the money. I love having a place that I can trust and that I know will do the work right. Lead Foot Diesel actually has 38 five star reviews right now! That Yelp is hiding at the bottom of the page in a section called "reviews not currently recommended" if you click on that section you will find our REAL, TRUE reviews left by REAL HONEST customers. I have taken my truck to leadfoot diesel several times and Always gotten great prices, great advice, and repair was done quickly. I was first recommended Leadfoot diesel by another 6.0l owner who had nothing but great things to say about them, so I gave them a shot at my truck (which was touched by 3 different shops from GA to MD and none of them had fixed the overheating issue). It only took 3 days and my truck was not only fixed but running hard and got me looking up ways to get even more power, now that I was confident it could take it. LFDP messed up a warranty claim on my 2nd Gen Cummins 5.9 24v, Vinny kept my truck over 6 months, charged me over $6000- for a 6.7 Chinese which has steam ports in between the cylinders, 5.9 does not have these ports, so the head gasket blew out within 500 miles. Vinny would not do anything we agreed upon. So I pulled the head off myself and found a blue shop towel sucked into #1 intake. Then Vinny says I made up the story and should have brought the truck back so they could have fixed it. These guys are the absolute worst shop imaginable, fake, fraud and phony. I had to order another head from Cummins and start all over DIY, learned a big costly lesson. read more

Typical 6.0 headstud failure, messaged Vinny after hours and had my truck towed to the shop that night. Dropped the keys in the drop box and had the full bulletproof job plus other work done in less than two weeks. Truck ran perfect and never had any engine problems again. These guys are top notch, run an extremely efficient operation and are experts in the field. Wouldn't trust anyone else more than leadfoot. Vinny sent me pictures of the truck with the cab off as they worked on it and was awesome throughout the whole process. I don't trust many people with my truck. However, I know if I have any issues with it I can take it to the guys at LFDP and have a worry/trouble free experience. They towed my truck and kept it locked up inside the entire time, they were able to get to it quickly, and they kept me informed the entire time and they weren't afraid to tackle the big mess I left them. Also, their prices are very competitive. I'm proud to say they work on all of my trucks. And as long as they're in business I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Amazing company! Sport, Jordan and Vinnie are great!! My sons truck had issues caused by another shop. We got it to Lead Foot and the guys worked and worked on it until it was right, Sport ( the Owner) even came out with the truck to tow it into the shop. I have now had multiple trucks worked on there with amazing results. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
