Being here was several weeks, I worked from hime to let them have access to the backyard and inside the house for their needed repairs. They all worked without issue and concern, and provided necessary updates when available. Communication with the city for permits was at issue at first, and an initial inspection was missed. As myself and the team weren't aware it was taking place at that specific time. 2nd inspection, the inspector was several hrs late and made the contractors wait all day, and no work could get done that day. Inspections after were good. Only issues I noted were a number of nails left out in my yard, all in the same area vicinity. Where my dog also goes out to walk, so that was a little concern. But there was nothing else that occured, and clean up for was good before and after. Total work - $18k+

1 Star: The Patio Looks Nice, but That's About It!…read more While I will admit that the finished patio looks nice, that is honestly the only positive thing I can say about my experience with this construction company. The construction has been ongoing for months at Greenhaven Oaks Apartments, and the lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for residents' personal property has been extremely disappointing. During construction, workers damaged my children's belongings, including my daughter's baby carriage and my child's bicycle. Nobody even had the decency to notify me that my child's bike had been broken. They also put a hole through my living room wall, which was eventually patched but left unpainted and unfinished. What is especially frustrating is what happened to my children's recycling. I have been teaching my kids responsibility by having them sort and separate our recyclables on their own. They worked hard to organize everything, separating the materials and bagging them up properly. We had seven bags of recyclables ready to go. The following weekend, we lost access to our backyard because of the construction, and we still have not regained access. Now, only one bag of glass bottles remains. I have no idea what happened to everything else. This was not just a pile of recyclables. It was something my children took the time and effort to organize as part of learning responsibility, and now their hard work has essentially disappeared without any explanation. I have already reported these issues to my apartment management, including the damaged baby carriage. A nice-looking patio does not excuse damaged property, missing belongings, poor communication, or a complete lack of accountability. Residents should not have to discover damage to their belongings or repeatedly complain just to have their concerns acknowledged. At the end of the day, the patio may look good, but the way this company treated residents and their belongings was anything but professional. The finished product might deserve five stars, but the overall experience deserves one.

I had to let a previous contractor go. It was obvious to me his work was substandard. Vitaliy and crew had to undo everything they did and then start over. In addition, once they had almost completed the job I did not like the floor so had them redo. What I didn't like had to do with coloring and other things that had nothing to do with the quality of the installation. They redid the floor and I'm now loving my new shower. A few years ago, I chose Rose Remodeling to do a full remodel of my primary bathroom. I was so…read moretraumatized by the nightmare experience that I couldn't bring myself to write a review, even though I felt prospective customers should hear from all sides, including those with horrible experiences. I got duped by the rosy reviews, not realizing those high ratings weren't necessarily representative of all their clients. Their bid was far higher than other contractors', but I mistakenly believed a higher price meant higher quality, and the sales rep, Justice, was very nice, so I chose this company. However, once the contract was signed, my bathroom was assigned to a project manager who seemed primarily focused on making sure I paid at each stage of the remodel. To my surprise, he never once stepped into my house to check the work. Rose Remodeling advertised itself as family-run, so I thought they would be involved in the work or at least oversee it closely. Boy, was I wrong. They subcontract to people who spoke limited English, so I couldn't communicate with them properly. To make matters worse, they let a trainee do most of the grout work on my shower wall, floor, and wainscoting. The grout lines were bumpy and uneven, with bubbles and cracks. When I complained, the project manager pointed out that grout lines are never perfect, implying I was the problem and a perfectionist, when 99% of the work was so bad that an average DIYer could have done better. I was forced to monitor the so-called subcontractors and contact the project manager (via phone or email because he never once came to the job site or meet me in person) again and again to redo sections. They never reviewed all their work and simply fixed everything. Each time, they only fixed the specific spot I marked with painter's tape. It felt like they were always trying to get away with shoddy work. I had to point out every grossly flawed detail for them to fix that one detail. They simply didn't want to do the right thing, which was to deliver quality work. It was such a hassle working with them. Another example: my mirror was higher on one side, and I had to fight with them to redo it multiple times until it looked level. These are just a few examples of the struggles. A week after I paid in full and began walking on the new tile floor, cracks started showing up immediately. I was so distraught after exhausting all my energy getting other parts of the remodel up to par that I just couldn't deal with them. It took a year, and a friend's help confronting them, before I finally got them to fix more grout issues. A year later, I finally met a competent contractor at their office, who came to my house the next day to inspect my issues. He was shocked at the lack of quality in my job, and for the first time, I got an apology and an acknowledgment of the nightmare I'd lived through. (The original project manager, Graham, never apologized for the problems and never took the time to supervise the subcontractors. Apparently, it was my job if I didn't want crappy workmanship.) In summary, if you want to pay extra high price to gamble on Rose Remodeling, you may get lucky and be assigned a better subcontractor and better project manager or you may end up with ones like those assigned to my bathroom. In the end they did finally fix most things but i should not have paid a high price to suffer this nightmare remodel. Ps I have too many photos to post but this is example of the workmanship they tried to dump on me.

I have done a lot of work over the years and am happy to say that if you live in this area, he is your guy. He was fair and honest from the get go. The price he gives you is the price you will pay. I never received any surprise "change orders". As contractors go, Omar was VERY open and communicative. No problems ever getting him or his crew on the phone. He had great suggestions on all things we discussed. Always seemed to know a lot about his work and various things people like. The project was a big one, and I am super happy with how fast it went. He even got started for us over Thanksgiving and Xmas, and his crew would show up on Saturday or Sunday sometimes to keep on working (which was fine with us!). There were no subcontractors involved... everything was through Noor Construction. If we had any minor issues that needed correcting, Omar would come and look at it and tell his crew what to do. We really appreciate the details, crown molding and trim was superbly done, and the tile was just amazing, we are very impressed with his team. I mean seriously anyone who has attempted to do crown molding in the past knows what I am talking about. For details if you've made it this far, our story: Where shall I start. I suppose we start with the idea: build a bedroom in the second floor space of our "great room" which has really tall ceilings... like 30 feet plus. So basically add a bedroom in the second story "empty space" above the first floor. Easy right? Well, after getting ghosted by several contractors, I finally called Omar. He informed he thought we were probably getting ghosted because the architect had told him that footings were needed to support this new bedroom which would be sort of like an island in the middle of the house. We live on a hill, so these support columns would have to go through the first floor, basement, and then under the house. This added to the cost, but we really wanted a bedroom in that space. Omar gave me a price. I told him no thanks, my wife and I thought well maybe we changed our mind as the cost came in higher with the footing work. After a few weeks, we talked it over, changed our minds. We really needed the bedroom. I called him, thinking "gosh he probably won't want our work". Omar came back, no change in price, same deal as before, he didn't even bat an eye, he was ready to go, and this was like 4 weeks later after I told him no. So yea, it was project that I was told was too much for people, everyone didn't want to go get permits or deal with the footings... Omar told us what to expect and stuck to the plan. He dealt with the County and the inspector always came and said even himself "these guys know what they are doing". We passed all inspections. Omar even was super flexible about adding things to the project as we went along, as you know I get ideas about what I might want, we added some carpeting and shelving, and additional tile work that he added at no additional cost to him. He really just knows what he is doing and is super on top of things. So go with Noor Construction if you have the chance, you won't regret it!
