Was going to consignment/vintage shops with my son & came across this spot on Yelp. Parking isn't…read moreusually the easiest around this are but we got lucky enough to find a spot right in front. Walked in to such a vibe. A few luxury items in glass cases & racks of clothing on the 1st floor. Upstairs there's more beautiful finds--leather jackets, women's clothing, a small men's clothing area, shoes, handbags and from what I noted, good prices. Can't talk about service because we weren't welcomed, approached or otherwise. I don't mind that. We walked out empty handed but will definitely be coming back!

I discovered ReLove during an online search for new consignment shops in The Bay. I loved to see a…read moreBlack owned business, and was impressed by how curated the Oakland location is for both men and women. The consignment and re-sale market in The Bay is more competitive than ever. I scored on a pair of vintage Levi 550's for an excellent price during my first visit. I browsed during Michael's time in review of items I brought in to consign. I was able to consign vintage Chanel and a Y's by Yohji Yamamoto in just under a month and a half- not bad for consignment turn around. I've also been able to get direct buy outs for other pieces like Armani collezioni, Ralph Lauren, Comme Des Garçon and Michael provides customer service that is more like making a new friend. ReLove's consignment process is welcoming as they openly share their approach and lend their expertise to truly valuing your items. For items that don't work, they are polite and clear to answer any asks why. You can trust their level of expertise, and I love being able to talk fashion industry headlines while awaiting completion of my consignment. If you are past the point of Wasteland, Second Street USA, Crossroads and BuffaloExchange- give ReLove a chance. Only bring quality items, as they have a discerning eye for a curated selection of the best labels with upheld quality for what is accepted for consignments. Browse to see what they have first, to give you a sense of what to bring in for sustainable resale. I frequent the Oakland location, but have had helpful and friendly convo with the SF boutique when checking on status of active consignments. I am committed to full fashion sustainability, and have been for 3 years now, and I'm glad ReLove is part of my collection of sources to find what I'm looking for.

I've heard of the VICI outlet but have never been there. The first time I stepped into the retail…read morestore was in Walnut Creek a few years ago. It's perfect if you are looking for a trend item that is budget friendly. It's also aesthetically pleasing to the eye for an outlet store. The demographic skews towards the younger college age crowd and older women trying to be. But the find for all ages is if you need a trend accessory of the season, this is the place to go. The prices are excellent and it might be your next find for that trip to Vegas or NOLA. I scored a crochet handbag (wished I got the pink beaded clutch bag), a hat, $5 4th of July t-shirt and a sports bra. Out of the items I wished I had thrown back was the sports bra because the straps were oversized (it would have worked better with a cross back). Total spend was $40. When I checked out, the cashier told me that they receive new items on Fridays/Saturdays. I went on a Friday so I did good. There's ample parking and it's in a business park. Definitely worth checking out!

As you drive there, it's sort of hidden, towards the back of the building. There's no sign attached to the outlet, but you'll see a single door open that leads into the warehouse. The worker was so helpful while I was there, always asking if we needed anything and offering to find sizes. From our convo, I learned that VICI sells a mix of their own clothes and other brands and are usually sold online or at retailers like Nordstrom. It seems like the brand isn't very size inclusive though, I mostly saw XS-M. Fitting rooms are plentiful and easy to go in and out of. You might have to dig around to find something you like, but I'm so happy with my grabs! I've been wearing them nonstop and the quality seems fantastic.
