Completely -- Unapologetic for deficiencies. CP has a formula to make a lot of promises. Then when you transfer authority to them, they'll reinvest your portfolio. Without listening to the client. Then they'll begin assessing significant fees -- for doing nothing. Saying that their representatives and Creative Planning are fiduciaries -- I'd like to see teams of lawyers argue their lack of performance, service and misuse of that word. Very disappointed. Waste of time, money, involvement. We could not continue with CP. Relationship became painful. Find a better way.

We also experienced penalties and additional stress due to mistakes that we felt should have been avoided. We had hoped for a more professional and proactive experience. Unfortunately, we ended up needing to seek help elsewhere to get our records cleaned up and organized.

Further, we went weeks without communication and had to initiate follow-up several times, which is frustrating when turning to human tax professionals for support. Finally, to top off the blatant disregard for customer relationships, we were denied a meeting to discuss our concerns and request for a refund due to all of the challenges and poor services rendered. I'm disappointed in our experience this year and sad to have to take my business elsewhere.

I feel like I am in good hands with Darrin and all of the Wildhorse employees. I started going to Wildhorse for tax prep in 2014 when I first moved to the KC area. Darrin took great care of me and gave solid advice over the years, beginning when I worked in food service, to when I got my first office job, got married, went back to school, and beyond. Now, Wildhorse has grown and I have had very good experiences with all the staff and professionals I interacted with. This year, I dealt primarily with John who gave great service. 10/10 recommend.

Paid $450 on 5/3/25 for it. I would follow up asking for an update and the response was "I'll talk to so and so today" with zero follow up until I contacted again. Then got the run around saying they'll talk to someone today. So as of 2/11/26 it was still not complete so I cancelled my service immediately and asked for a refund. Filed the paperwork the next day with the state myself. I would like to have the owner reach out and address the issue, but I don't expect it as quality has gone downhill.

Taxes were due yesterday and I have yet to receive an update regarding the state of my tax return since February 7, 2022. It is a sad state of affiars when you have to result to posting negative reviews due to the fact that the firm will not return your messages.
