Please focus on you and your staff's attention to detail and customer service…read more This year, our taxes were prepared incorrectly twice, the first time rejected by the IRS and the second time with a gross error caught by us: completely leaving off one person's income. Further, we went weeks without communication and had to initiate follow-up several times, which is frustrating when turning to human tax professionals for support. Finally, to top off the blatant disregard for customer relationships, we were denied a meeting to discuss our concerns and request for a refund due to all of the challenges and poor services rendered. I'm disappointed in our experience this year and sad to have to take my business elsewhere.

In my early thirty's with a "decent" income and some student loans, i've just recently saw the light and started wising up in regards to my family's financial future. The guys at ATA are local Lee's Summit guys (which means a lot to me) and since i'm not a financial guru, they explained things very clearly and simple for my wife and I to understand. It's truly a one stop shop as they cover FINANCES, INVESTMENTS, TAXES, INSURANCE, and Mid-American Mortgage to boot. I'm not a big fish by any means but they value my business and are always a phone call away. I feel a LOT better knowing that for a small price my family is covered in the event that something happens to me. If you are in the eastern jackson county area, go see these guys! Lyall is the finance guy and Aaron handles mortgages.

Not only do we not know of or when we will get our tax return money, (which is over $5,000), we do not know if or when we will receive our stimulus check which is also thousands of dollars. That's thousands of dollars lost because of a mistake they made, a service we paid them to do and now we have to deal with the consequences. We have two kids, one with special needs who just had a $2,000 MRI today. We are devastated. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Atkinson Financial Services.
