Sometimes life gives you a perfect afternoon, like the one we had here. This charming little bistro had recently opened up near Windsor Castle and was a refuge and delight to us. I had taken my family out to see the castle and we had become rain-soaked, weary and hungry sightseers. We ducked in here as it was the closest place to us and the staff here was very nice and friendly. They served us some freshly made, piping hot fish and chips. The fish was breaded and fried with a skilled hand and unlike most heavy meals you get when you go for fish and chips, was really light and very tasty. I highly recommend this for a meal in Windsor. The place itself is quite cute and it's a step up from the regular chain food in the area. I hope they stay open for years to come! read more
