The icing is the boutique, which has many treasures to add to your life. A five-star establishment from top to bottom. When you go to a spa, you want to leave refreshed. And Breathe has just the right atmosphere and attentive professionals to make that happen. I tagged along with a mentor who was getting a mani/pedi and had recently added perfect brows. While I did not have an appointment, I was able to add a brow session. The reason I tagged along in the first place was that I had to learn the secret of these perfect brows. The secret is in the staff and the business. My consultation for brows was perfect, and I left with the exact perfect brows I was after. I also left less stressed and more relaxed than when I walked in. That is exactly what a spa is supposed to do! And I didn't even have any of the other services, yet! If you can get your brows done and leave relaxed, you are truly in the mellowest of spas. I will return for a mani-pedi when I have time to make an appointment. I will continue to return for the perfect brows and visit when I need a time-out from my busy life.

Pros: - The staff member who helped us was super kind, and answered all our questions and gave us good prep / tour of the rooms before. - The facility pretty much provides everything you would need, including swim ear plugs, towels, shampoo/soap, flip flops once you walk in. - overall my tank experience was really positive - they have these large rubber buttons on each side of the tank that allow you to turn on/off the peaceful music as well as the soft lights, and you can kind of choose your own adventure by getting out or getting back in whenever you want. The tank is also very easy to open from the inside, and they provide neck supports / head supports if you like. - It was interesting relaxing and being with my thoughts - at times it almost got too quiet and dark for me so I did have to turn on the lights briefly haha - There's also a vanity area with a hairdryer, combs, petroleum jelly etc that you can use after - There's a relaxing area in the back with some couches , so it's a perfect area to decompress if you need to wait for your friend to finish up Cons: - This was more a user error on my part - I didn't take my contact lenses out when I got into the pool and I think I accidentally got salt water in my eyes, so I did have to get out once just to take them out. Don't make the same mistake as me haha - Parking can be tricky in this area, but we did paid street parking - My room ran out of shampoo for the post-float shower so that was unfortunate - the right side button to turn on the lights in my pool was very hard to turn on ( I almost had to punch it) compared to the music light, which can be tricky also to feel around for in the dark (but also, this may be my user error lol) Overall I had a really positive first experience and wouldn't mind trying it again. Having massage in a body temperature swimming pool is a wonderful environment for relaxing and also for a bit of an inward journey. But I'm getting ahead of myself. When I first arrived, Ilana was just finishing up with a client. My initial impression of her was that she was a kind, gentle and compassionate woman. She was finishing with an elderly client and asked my understanding in getting this gentleman safely to his car. She suggested I get in the pool and I did getting acclimated to a perfect temperature and already feeling relaxed. She returned thanking me for my understanding and slipped into the water. I had a great sense of well-being with her. She slowly went through the process we would be following making sure I understood . There are some non-verbal signals that are used to communicate between us and she was very thorough in making sure I understood exactly what she was doing. She put some floats on my legs and supported me in the water in a very soothing and calming way. While supporting me she drew me through the water. I felt a deep sense of security and calm from her. Eventually with the appropriate non-verbal communication, she took me under the water. That doesn't quite capture the experience. Rather I would say she gave me to the water! All the while, the peacefulness and serenity grew within me. I was completely secure in the knowledge that she was there supporting me through this peaceful process. At the appropriate time, with a hand gesture by me, she raised me to the surface. Numerous times she gave me to the water gliding me through it slowly twisting and turning being guided by a reassuring hand on this journey. It was so quiet and peaceful. The movement of my body under and through the water created a deep feeling of surrender. All too soon my time ran out and again with attention and support. she brought me to a place in the pool where I could slowly come back from my wonderful water journey becoming aware more and more of the outer world. It was a wonderful journey and deep experience of peace, security and surrendering to the water an experience facilitated by this tender, supportive woman . I am grateful!!
