The customer service in this store is fantastic! Let me start by saying that I do not get overly excited when shopping for kitchen gadgets and cookware but the pleasure that I had when I was assisted by Kathy has changed that. I had such a great experience at Le Creuset thanks to Kathy M! From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the products. I came in with just a vague idea of what I wanted, and she patiently walked me through the different options, explaining the pros and cons of each piece in a way that felt helpful, never pushy. Kathy went above and beyond--she even shared some cooking tips and care instructions that I never would have thought of on my own. You can tell she genuinely loves the brand and wants customers to feel confident in their choices. I left with exactly what I needed (and maybe one extra color I couldn't resist), feeling excited to use my new cookware. I have been shopping at this location for years and in recent months, the experience has not been great. The new store manager, Shannon, has been at times off-putting to say the least. I have been ignored by her in the store and noticed that she doesn't answer the phone when customers call the store. The other employees have always been great and helpful. However, recently my experience was horrible. Shannon sat behind the register while customers were in the store and called them stupid. She said stuff under her breathe, yet loud enough for customers to hear from the middle of the store that was inappropriate, complained about FTT, the store's numbers, and how a return she made had a negative impact on her numbers since she was the one who made the sale. It's one thing to think those things, but it's another to say it out loud. I was so shocked an appalled that I called another store to order what I wanted. I don't want to give her my business if that's how she feels about customers' whose sales pay her salary. It's also unfortunate that I would have to go to VA or PA to shop at Le Creuset if I want to do so in person. I really do love the other employees that work at this location. I feel sorry for them to have a manager like that who will ultimately affect the business. read more

Some of their cookware is made in China (see link below for description). ??!! Also posted a photo. So sad and not acceptable for a $140 piece of cookware. Therefore, I do not recommend this store and do not recommend Le Creuset. Don't represent yourself as a French company that prides itself on quality and then outsource manufacturing to China and ship garbage to your customers. That said, ordered a 10" frying pan online and it arrived scratched and chipped so it has to go back. What a nightmare to return, you have to go through a multi-step process to request a return number and then print out your own return label or have them schedule a UPS pickup for you. The company will not allow you to return a damaged item to a store which is why I called this Oxon Hill location to verify that, and was greeted by an entitled and incompetent associate who told me I have to follow the process and mail this item back using the "return code" I was provided. Never again. If I want a pan made in China that's a hot mess I will go to Amazon and purchase one there and save $100 in the process :) Amazon's customer service isn't a nightmare either. Since being turned away from our usual location in Yemasse SC (we got caught in traffic, and even though we called, they would not stay open past 6, we got there at 6:03) So, on Monday, 11/25/24 we went to the Oxon Hill location. We always take the opportunity to get new pieces for family members for holiday gifts. Le Creuset is a big hit because of its quality and value. Outlet locations allow us to buy multiple items for more family members. Deborah and Carolyn were awesome. They helped with selections, add on's, and packaging. We spent $2000 on high-quality items that will last generations. We will definitely go back to see these wonderful women! read more

Do NOT order any products/shipments from this store at Tanger's Outlet in Oxon Hill, MD!!! We don't have a car, so we wanted to take advantage of the August 30% off and $30 culinary coupon. We called and asked if they could ship items that were on sale. Kathy M, excitedly said yes, yes, yes! (I had already bought $185 worth of bakeware just a week before in person). She texted me pictures of items, not knowing she was excluding cheaper versions of items, I agreed and she "happily" made the sale. Today I received the package and there was a $67 set of measuring cups! I immediately called and spoke to Jay, who offered to swap them out. Requiring me to pay $45 in Ubers each way or ship and pay for new shipping to exchange. Kathy then got on the phone and scolded me for not knowing there was a cheaper item because she sent me a picture of the item. (Again, the picture only showed the more expensive version). She said I even asked my wife which one I wanted. I have a husband and never asked him, as this was supposed to be part of his 50th birthday present. All said and done, Kathy grifted me for over $300 bucks and then yelled at me that she knows customer service because she has "25+ years" experience! I'm not sure why I was being scolded and treated so gruffly, but in the end I had to call the Leesburg, VA outlet and even bought more from that location and happily paid shipping. Do not deal with Kathy at Oxon Hill!! She only cares about her commission and/or bonus (she said she was the manager). Avoid this store in person or by phone! You will get scammed!! The service from Jay and Deborah was just outstanding! I was searching for a specific item, and no other outlet was as customer friendly as this one in Oxon Hill MD. I can't say enough- Jay texted me a photo of the merchandise and offered her help. I called back later and Deborah was happy to assist me, reached out to Jay who had already left for the day, and called me back to be certain that my item would be the color I wanted! We'll the lady working today ( yes only 1) was very helpful and worked really hard to package up my purchases and show me choices and nifty new things. They had just what I wanted and had other items on sale too that I could only hope for ( discontinued colors). The sales lady was pleasant, helpful and accurate. This store is amazing if you're a DC area fan of Le Creuset. Absolutely... The store is about twice as big as the full-price Bethesda store, and looks like it offers more colors. It is important to know that Le Creuset outlets mostly carry the 'Classic' line, which has smaller handles and a lid knob oven safe to 375 deg F, whereas the 'Signature' line has larger handles and the lid knob is safe to 500 deg F. The cooking performance is absolutely the same... Umm $200 versus $400 hello.... Still, there are 'Signature' pieces to be had at this location. Some colors cost less than others, and the "seconds" hardly have a blemish on them. Basically, it's beautiful cookware that is fantastic to cook in. read more

Great customer service, expected more of a "deal" from the outlet store. Though they do have retired colors/ items, the discount isn't that great. Maybe retailers sell their items now and I've found better deals many other places. read more

My parents and I went to this store on February 2,2020 between 5:00-5:30 pm. We were browsing around but before we decided to buy any, we wanted to ask a few questions. So my mom went up to the employee( an African American woman, the only personnel in the store around that time) to ask if any of the wok would break easily. The employee's response was rude, sarcastic and demeaning. Her response to the questions were: "well, why would you drop it?" " well, honey, anything droppped on the floor would break." Her facial expression and tone of voice was so belittling. Honestly the only thing missing was for her to outright call us stupid! All we wanted was to ask information before buying anything. The cookware is great, but do your homework rather than trusting the sales staff...I should have. At long last, I was ready to invest in a Le Creuset french oven, and wanted a blue one. I was originally interested in the marseille blue color, but the saleslady steered me towards a slightly darker blue called cobalt, telling me that the marseille blue was about to be discontinued. Since I wanted to purchase coordinating pieces in the future (which I mentioned to the saleslady when I specifically asked about the colors), I therefore chose the cobalt blue. The 5.5 quart french oven was a little cheaper than that size Amazon, but not by all that much. It was only when looking for coordinating pieces online a few weeks later that I learned that the cobalt blue is a color unique to the outlet - COBALT is actually the color that was discontinued a few years ago and was replaced by the marseille blue. This was not disclosed by the saleslady when I specifically asked. So theres no way to purchase other pieces in that color except to trek back to the outlet and hope they happen to have whatever I'm looking for in stock. I've also found no indication anywhere that the marseille blue is going to be discontinued any time soon. read more
