It shut down on Thanksgiving Day while I was preparing dinner for 12 people in our newly renovated kitchen. GE Bodewell "repaired" FOUR times. Within minutes of the repair tech leaving our house EVERY TIME the bottom oven beeped, showed faults, smelled awful and shut down. I spent literally hours trying to speak to an actual person at GE. I finally spoke to someone who promised that the situation would be escalated and my request for a SAFE replacement would be "considered ". They eventually refused to do more than send another technician. I didn't have an oven for Christmas dinner, either. Appliance World did NOT HAVE to help in any capacity other than to contact GE. BUT THEY DID!!! They replaced, delivered and installed my new range this morning--all at their own expense. We've been loyal Appliance World customers for years, and will continue to go to them for our next appliance purchase. THANK YOU!! I want to add that we received frequent updates concerning delivery and installation times and Oscar and his crew were extremely efficient, helpful and professional. They were careful and respectful of our property and left the job impeccably clean and neat.

I had bought a…read moreThermador gas range. we use the stove top daily but we only use the oven about three times a year for holidays. Several weeks ago the oven stopped working and threw an error code E6100. We had Thermador and their authorized repair provider diagnose that the oven needed a fan replaced and the repair was over $500. I called Thermador several times to try to have them pay for the repair even though it was out of warrant. I had told the Thermador agent that I purchased the oven at Appliance World. The agent suggested that I go back to Appliance World and ask them to intervene on my behalf to see what they could do. The Thermador agent said that Appliance World could DEFINITELY motivate Thermador to do something for me. So I then went back to Appliance World and spoke to Matt in customer service. this was last Friday. During that conversation Matt kept saying that he knew that Thermador would not do anything for me. Matt was 110% NEGATIVE. I continuef to advise Matt that it was the Thermador agent that urged me to have them make the call Well today I recvd an email reply from Matt. Matt restated that the oven was out of warranty which I and the Thermador agent were well aware of. Matt also repeated that Thermador would most likely deny the claim. Again he was 110% NEGATIVE without even making the call. I then told him I wanted to speak to someone that would help me The next email I received was from Khep who stated that Matt's take was accurate and correct. Reading Kheps reply I realized that he had no grasp on the facts of the situation and I am quite certain that Matt didn't either. Now there are two 110% NEGATIVE customer service people that should not be allowed to speak to customers. THIS IS JUST TERRIBLE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. The conversation didn't end well. I have purchased a new condo and I will be totally renovating the kitchen and laundry area. I am expecting to purchase $40,000 in appliances. I will take my business to Best Buy. I am 110% sure that they will match or BEAT the Appliance World prices. Best Buy is a corporate store with better training and service compared to the local store with TERRIBLE SERVICE.

I figured I had nothing to lose and had basically zero expectations walking in. Upon entering I was blown away by the sheer size of the furniture store as well as the magnitude of inventory selection. There was so much to see and look at. You could have a custom table made where you pick the actual wood slab and base color. Their products are gorgeous. After much browsing, I decided on a reclaimed barnyard table. I wasn't totally pleased with the white base compared to the white linen which was more rustic. Mark, our salesperson, answered all our questions and offered to switch the base for me. I was SOLD! Additionally, I could choose the chairs I wanted as well. The table and chairs could be delivered in ONE week! I was thrilled. And they were offering a special deal where you got a small area rug free with your purchase. And I got to pick that too!Know that, I've been looking for an affordable kitchen dining set for quite some time and had convinced myself that I would only find it in Lancaster, PA. Restored Timbers was able to give me my dream kitchen dining set. There was a little hiccup in that my white linen chairs were not in stock when my table was delivered so I was given loaner chairs instead of delaying my original delivery date. This is the only reason why they lost a star in my review here. It took a little over a month for my white linen base chairs to come in, but they were worth the wait. If you're in the market for a dining set then you have got to have Restored Timbers on your list!
