After a long day of exploring Tombstone and ending up in Bisbee, we were all really hungry without wanting a heavy meal. This little cafe is a hidden gem in Bisbee. The waitress told us Forbes listed their meatloaf as 'the best meatloaf in Arizona' and it definitely lived up to the hype I hadn't yet heard of. There's plenty of seats inside, and a nice bathroom. Large selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, and different drinks. They served us meatloaf sandwiches on fresh bread, with a slice of homemade bread and butter on the side. I also ordered their garden salad which had a light lemon and olive oil vinaigrette on it. I wish we would have tried the pies in the fridge but we were all full. The cafe itself was pretty crowded when I placed my to-go order. The space is relatively small, which made it feel a cramped and noisy. Some people prefer this time of environment. But, if you don't, you can always place a to-go order and take it to a nearby green space to eat. My chili jack sandwich was pretty decent. I tried to order it with the rye bread. But, the lady making the sandwiches told me that the rye was on the soft side and she was worried that the sandwich wouldn't hold together well if I went with that bread. She recommended going with one of the other options. I chose the 12 grain. Unfortunately, after I got my sandwich, I'm almost positive that it's just Dave's Killer bread. I would have chosen a different bread had I realized this, as I went to the shop with the goal of having something very different from the sandwiches that I have every day for lunch. Otherwise, the sandwich was good. The ingredients on it complemented each other nicely. The sweet potato and pepper soup had a lot less flavor and kick than I was hoping. I expect a little more kick from a soup that has pepper in its name, but the soup was pretty bland. The homemade bread that came with my meal was tasty! It was definitely a highlight of the lunch. It's definitely on the sweet side for a bread. So, if you don't like sweeter breads, be aware that it's not sour at all. The molasses ginger cookie was really good. It was large, about 5 inches in diameter, and has good flavor. It's crispy on the outer edges and soft and chewy in the middle. A great cookie! read more

This was our third time visiting the Cafe Cornucopia, it has become our go to for lunch while visiting Bisbee. Friendly staff, delicious food offerings, plenty of gluten free and vegan options, all tucked inside a unique historic building accented by the work of local artists. We stopped here for sandwiches and they did not disappoint. My husband had the roast beef without horseradish and I had the egg salad without tomatoes. The egg salad was the smashed-egg kind with green onions and crunchy celery, with thin slices of cucumber instead of lettuce. Yum! Hearty, old-fashioned, Euro-cafe in Az! Went art and antique shopping for Christmas and enjoyed a delightfully crisp December day in Bisbee. As echoed by Yelpers, several locals referred us to Anna's and to Cornucopia. We hit both - one for a late bfast, the other for a late lunch - and Cornucopia proved the gem. Cornucopia is a small soup, sandwich, salad, desserts cafe - very narrow inside with just one row of 5-6 tables running about 25 feet "deep" towards the back/kitchen. At 2-ish on Thursday it was nearly full still. We scored the little bay window table for two, street side, beside the front door, absolutely delightful. The staff - all clustered around the cashier/counter - consisted of 4-5 women ranging in personalities from sweet/shy to the gregariously salty diner matron (my kind)! There are typically two soups of the day; 3-4 quiches and 4-5 cakes,all made handmade by the staff. We ordered two entrees: the potato leek soup with green chili quiche and the lentil tomato soup with salad. We split an apple pecan cheesecake for dessert. The soups were terrific, although we both would have preferred a thicker base for the watery lentil soup. All soups come with a thick, tender slice of homemade wheat bread (pre-slathered in butter so order it "dry" if you want to spare your arteries :) The quiche was heavenly. Incredibly thick with eggs, cheese and butter and a perfect, green chili kick... alas, for me, just a twice-a-year indulgence at this richness level. The cheesecake was loaded with layers of flavor and texture, not merely boring "cheese." It was almost like a thin apple crisp had been folded or baked into the top. No parking except parallel along the street somewhere. Alcohol is served too, though we did not sample any today. read more

It's a pretty tight fit inside, but most of the staff was pretty friendly, and helpful with recommendations. They have a selection of desserts proudly displayed right next to the breakfast bar kind of area. I got the meatloaf which had a nice flavor to it. This mainly is a sandwich and dessert place. The sandwiches were stacked high with whatever ingredient you chose. The soups had flavorful taste to them.The lemon meringue pie was delicious. Because of how many people are typically in this place at any one given time, it does tend to get a little warm. But, not uncomfortable. It was neat to watch as the different residents of the Town walked in for lunch, the staff greeted them all warmly remembering each name. I would definitely stop back at this place again. read more

Great little cafe in historic old town Bisbee. The menu features New American and Sonoran fusion dishes, with various red and green chile highlights. Everything is really good, although I felt like each dish I tried could have used a dash of salt. The albondigas with polenta was really good. The texture of the meatballs was perfect. Very nice little place in Bisbee. It's a walk up counter to order your food and they deliver to your table. Overall, the place is small but very cosy. We arrived at 1100 on a Sunday and were able to get a nice table near the window. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. The food is fresh and all home made. My wife had the daily quiche with spinach. It comes with a soup or salad and home made bread. The quiche was moist and crustless. The salad was good and the bread fantastic. I had the turkey avocado sandwich. It too was outstanding. All ingredients in the sandwich were very fresh. I liked the cucumber. It was a nice touch. Menu was mostly breakfast, Quiche, and a few sandwich options. They also had several vegetarian options on the menu. They had an extensive array of deserts including cookies, brownies, and pies that looked delicious. But I didn't try any. We were exploring Bisbee all day and I was dying for lemonade! This place was the first one we saw and they happened to have fresh squeezed lemonade so I was SO excited to try it out. We walked in and it was quite busy and realized it was more of a sit down eatery rather than a quick cafe (which is perfectly fine just had no clue). Anyways we get told the wait would be 20 minutes and that we needed to wait outside. We said okay then proceeded to say that we just wanted to take a lemonade to go. We got the BIGGEST eye roll from the lady who told us to wait outside and then proceeded to say "fine I guess just wait for someone to help you at the counter" I was so disheartened because I've only ever heard how kind everyone is Bisbee is and I have never felt so disrespected in an establishment before. All because I asked for a to go lemonade? I had no problem waiting outside for it but the eye roll was so unnecessary . We just ended up walking out. We love this restaurant. This was second choice on the list, wait first explored one with thought we would enjoy I decided against it after walking in. So to Plan B it was, and we are so glad that we changed restaurants. This restaurant is amazing. They were very busy and only had a few tables available. They seem to turn the tables quickly so it all worked out. The ambiance is fun in a very old brick building. I now wish I had inquired as to the buildings original purpose. The staff is friendly. I've been here several times now and nobody in our party has been disappointed, everyone walked away raving about the food. The locals come here, that tells you something. This place is wonderful for lunch. Their quiche is always great, but the meatloaf sandwich I had there today was quite possible the best one I've had in my lifetime (see photo). You better be hungry. The meatloaf is cooked perfectly, and the juice runs out when you bite into it which is an indication they don't overdo the fillers when they make it. Their breads are homemade - what can you say? The only downside: very little seating. Make sure you send someone ahead to grab a table, otherwise you won't get in. We did see a lot of people picking up takeout today, so that's one alternative. read more

We just tried Cafe Cornucopia! We were sat immediately. I got the spinach quiche, best quiche I've ever had. It came with a slice of yummy bread smothered in butter.
